Would friends please meet at St. Laurence's Church, Pittington on Wednesday, April 19 at 12.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers, if so desired, to St. Laurence's Church Fund.


YORK - April 7 (peacefully, in hospital), of Lyonette Road, Darlington (former Warden of Dalkeith House). Eileen, aged 85 years, beloved wife of the late Norman, loving mam of Norma, Pauline, Shirley, Janice, Sandra and the late Linda, also a much loved mother-in-law, nanna, great-nanna and aunt. Funeral Friday, April 21. Would friends please meet 2.15 pm for service at Darlington Crematorium.

Christopher (Kit), aged 80 years, beloved husband of the late Geneve, a dearly loved dad of Alan, Susan and Gary, loved father-in-law of Maria, Peter and Maria and a much loved granda of Rebecca and Christopher. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Wednesday for a service and committal at 9.30 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be left in the collection plate at the Crematorium for "The Macmillan Nurses"

Jennie, aged 84 years, loving mother of Colin and the late David and Brian, dear mother-in-law of Julie and also a devoted grandma and great-grandma. ALLISON - Eva (Eve) Formerly of Barnard Castle. On March 29, Eve passed away peacefully in Leeds, aged 79 years. Dear wife of the late John William (Jack), devoted mum of Helen Louise and mother-in-law of David. Precious grandma of John-Richard, also much loved sister, sister-in-law and aunt. ASHWORTH - On April 4, of Newton Aycliffe. Albert, aged 81 years. The funeral service will take place on Monday, April 10, 10.45 a.m. at Darlington Crematorium. Friends welcome, please meet at the crematorium.


ATKINSON - Mary Hannah (Nancy). On April 3 (peacefully at Leeming Garth Nursing Home). Nancy, aged 84 years. Formerly of Ivy Croft, Appleton Wiske. Beloved wife of the late John Henry, much loved mother of John, Florence, Gordon and Robin, also a dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Private cremation will be followed by a service of Thanksgiving for the life of Nancy at The Methodist Church, High Street, Northallerton on Monday April 10, at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations may be given in lieu to, The Northallerton Methodist Church Circuit, plate provided at the service.


BAGLEE - March 24, suddenly in Algeria, of Greenbank Road, Darlington. Jon, aged 40 years, beloved partner of Racheal, dearly loved father of Natasha, Jack and Dominic, much loved brother of Louise and Jackie, also loving son of Ken and Val. Funeral Tuesday, April 11. Friends please meet for service at The Garrison Church, Catterick at 2.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Any donations for charity may be left at the Church.

Edwin, aged 91 years, of Thornton Watlass, dearly loved husband of the late Catherine, father of John and Elizabeth, grandfather of Simon and Mark and great-grandfather of William and Lucy. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass on Friday, April 7 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment at St Martin's Churchyard, Seamer in Cleveland, near Stokesley.

Beloved wife of the late George, much loved sister of Herbert, George and the late Ken, a loving aunt and great-aunt. Funeral Wednesday April 12. BARTLETT - March 27, peacefully in hospital, after a short illness, of Northallerton. James Neville (Neville), aged 76 years, beloved husband of Mary, loving father of Jeremy and a dearest father-in-law of Vanna. Funeral service and committal will take place at Northallerton Methodist Church on Tuesday April 11 at 2.00 pm. Family flowers only. Donations if wished may be given for the Royal National Institute for the Blind. Thank you for your love, we shall miss you.

Beloved wife of Ken, devoted mam of John, Ray, Les, Norman, Graham and Denise, a dear mother-in-law, much loved and loving nana and great-nana, also a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and a good friend. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.00 p.m. on Wednesday April 12, followed by interment in South Church Cemetery.


BELL - (nee Cawley) Elizabeth (Betty), aged 81 years, of Bishop Auckland, wife of the late Harry, died peacefully on April 1, surrounded by the love of her family, a much loved and loving mam of Carol, Peter, Paul, David and the late John, a dear mother-in-law, also a devoted nana and great-nana. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence in Bishop Auckland at 12.50 p.m. on Friday April 7 for service in St. Peter's Church at 1.00 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Will friends please meet at Church.


BELL - April 2, at Leeming Garth Nursing Home, formerly of Sycamore Close, Spennithorne. Mary, aged 83 years, beloved wife of the late George Bell, dearly loved mother of Pat, Gordon, Christine, Betty, David, Joan, Annette and Sharon and a very dear mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at St Michael and All Angel's Church, Spennithorne on Saturday, April 8 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment at Harmby Cemetery. Family flowers only please.
