Friends please meet for service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, March 15 at 12.00 noon.


EMMERSON - March 8, peacefully, of Hundens Park Care Home, Darlington. Richard, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Sybil, dearly loved father of Geraldine and Sheila, father-in-law of Keith, much loved grandad of Michael, Andrea, Elizabeth, Tig, Rachel, David and Neil, also loving great-grandad of Rebecca and Kate. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 10.15 a.m.


EVANS - David, aged 61 years, of Bishop Auckland, passed away on March 6. Dearest brother of Kenneth and son of the late William and Elizabeth, also dearest pal of Gordon and Michael. Will all friends and relatives please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 11.00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14.


FAWCETT - March 3, of Hilldene, Hawes. James Metcalfe (Jim), aged 73 years, beloved husband of Joan, much loved father of John, Janet and Sandra and a dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service at Hawes Methodist Chapel Thursday, March 9 at 12.30 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for Hawes Methodist Chapel. Friends please meet at chapel.


FERGUSON - February 28, suddenly at home, of Bulmer Close, Newton Aycliffe. Irene (formerly Hymas), loving mam to Stuart, Neil, Geoff, Craig and the late Stephen, also a dearly loved mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt. Funeral Thursday, March 9. Would friends please meet 12.45 p.m. for service at St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe, followed by interment in the West Cemetery, Newton Aycliffe.


FOWLER - (nee Smith) Denise, aged 50 years, died March 3, 2006, peacefully at home, a loving daughter to Enid, step-daughter to Les, sister to Susan, Sandra, Stephen and Joanne, auntie to Andrew, Chloe and Jack. "Your weary days are over, your sleepless nights are past; We know within our hearts you have found peace at last. R.I.P. Our Denise


FOWLER - March 3, 2006, at home, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, of Spennymoor. Denise, aged 50 years, adored wife of Kit, beloved mother to Christopher, Philip, Michael, Mathew, Amanda and Jamie, loving nana to Adam, Jack, Brittany and Hollie, loving daughter, sister, auntie and sister-in-law. Will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Rest in Peace darling till we meet again. Funeral Friday, March 10. Ken, aged 80 years, most loving and much loved husband of Nancy, a dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. Friends please meet for service in St. Thomas' Church, Stanhope on Friday, March 10 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment at Crosshill Cemetery. Flowers welcome or, if desired, donations in lieu for Weardale Community Hospital.

Will friends please meet for Requiem Mass in St. Mary's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 10.30 a.m. on Thursday, March 16, followed by interment at Witton Park. A bus is provided from church to Witton Park and return. R.I.P.


HAGEMEYER - Syd, aged 68 years, of Colburn, died suddenly in hospital on March 5. Beloved husband of the late Karen, much loved dad of Susan and Nikki, loving grandad of Natasha, Adam and Marshall and a dear brother of Nora and Derek. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, March 13 at 3.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given at the crematorium for Cancer Research UK.


HAMPER - On March 3, at Maple Lodge Nursing Home, Scotton, formerly of 19 East Witton. Evelyn, aged 89 years, beloved wife of Edwin (Ted), dearly loved mother of Sid and Celia and a loving mother-in-law, grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service and interment at St. John's Church, East Witton on Thursday, March 9 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds and the Alzheimer's Disease Society (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.

Elizabeth, aged 88 years, beloved wife of Jack, dearly loved mother of John, Michael and Karen, mother-in-law of Christine and much loved nan of Louise, Sarah, Gemma, Sherrie and Jamie.
