Ida, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Ernest, dearly loved mother of Sheila, Amy and the late Alan and a very dear grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at St. Matthew's Church, Leyburn on Friday, February 24 at 10.00 a.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds and the British Heart Foundation (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.


STOKER - Wilfred, of Grants Houses, Horden, in hospital, on February 18, aged 81 years. Wilf, a much loved brother to Dorry, the late Bob, Ena and Tommy, a cherished uncle to Ian, a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Cortege to leave his residence on Thursday for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium at 3.00 p.m. Friends are kindly invited, please meet at the crematorium chapel.


SUTTON - (nee Abbott) Joyce, aged 78 years, peacefully at home on February 17, of Bridge Road, Blackwell, Darlington. Loving wife of the late Pud, much loved mum of David and Jenny and Stuart and Kate, loving nan to Simon and Nicholas, great-gran to Nicholas Jnr., dear sister and sister-in-law and great friend to all. Funeral Friday, February 24. Would friends please meet for service in Elm Ridge Methodist Church at 12.30 p.m., prior to cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if so desired, may be sent for The Respiratory Department, Darlington Memorial Hospital, care of Whitehouse Funeral Service, 17 West Auckland Road, Darlington, DL3 9EL. TAYLOR - February 16 (suddenly, but peacefully), of Kirk Merrington. Mary (Molly), aged 88 years, much loved wife of the late Frederick, dear mam of Christine, mother-in-law of Keith, gran of Stefan and great-gran to Alex. Would friends please meet for service in Ferryhill Baptist Chapel at 12.45 p.m. on Friday, February 24, followed by cremation at Durham.


THOMPSON - Olive May, died peacefully in Leeming Garth on February 20, 2006, late of St Mary's Walk, Thirsk, a dearly beloved wife of Arthur. Funeral service to be held at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, February 27, 2006 at 3.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium. No flowers please. Donations to Leeming Garth Nursing Home.

Connie, aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Jimmy, devoted mother of Jack, dear mother-in-law to Anne, much loved grandma to Paul, Mark, Michael and Lesley, loving great-gran of Tegan, Anna, Jayden and Daniel. Will friends please meet for service in St. Catherine's Church, Crook at 10.00 a.m., on Friday, February 24, followed by cremation at Durham.


TODD - Hilda Cynthia February 21, peacefully in hospital. Hilda, aged 85 years, loving wife of the late William (late of Pond House Farm), loving mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. Family and friends please meet at St Augustine's Church, Kirkby on Monday, February 27 at 12.00 noon for service, prior to interment in the Churchyard. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if so desired to St Augustine's Church Funds.


WALKER - Joan On February 17, peacefully in hospital. Joan, aged 74 years (nee Welsh), of Sedgefield, formerly of Fishburn. Dearly loved mam of Gerald and Lynne, mother-in-law of Gill, also a loving nanna. Funeral service to take place in St. Catherine's Church, Fishburn on Thursday, February 23 at 12.00 noon, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends please meet at church.


WALTON - February 21 (suddenly at home). Morris, aged 57 years, of Barforth Hall Cottages, Winston. A good friend to all. Will be sadly missed. Funeral to take place on Thursday March 2. Winifred, aged 93 years, a much loved wife of the late David Thomas, a dear mother of Kevin, Paul and David and a loving mother-in-law, gran and great-gran. Service to be held in Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, followed by a Service of Thanksgiving in Newton Aycliffe Christian Life Centre at 3.00 p.m.

Jennifer Margaret (nee McQuillen), of Sadberge, near Darlington, beloved daughter of the late John and Margaret and sister of Graeme. The funeral service took place on Thursday, February 23.
