Donations, if desired, may be given after the service, for Ushaw Moor Baptist Church. Mini-bus provided from the church.

JOY July 27, in hospital, of The Lawns, Darlington. Ivy Elizabeth, beloved wife of the late Frank William Joy. Funeral tomorrow Friday, August 8. KENHAM Gordon Peacefully, in hospital on July 31. Gordon, aged 87 years, husband of the late Lilian, Instrument Engineer I.C.I. past Master Dunelm Lodge 4079, Darlington. Service and cremation takes place at Darlington Crematorium on Thursday August 7 at 11.15 a.m. Would friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel.

Nellie, aged 74 years, dearly loved wife of Ernie, devoted mother of John, Paul and Susan and a dear mother-in-law of Betty and Pauline, also a much loved grandma of Nicola, Graeme, Andrew and James, a dear sister to Phylis. Interment Thursday, August 7 in Shildon Cemetery. Cortege leaving residence at 9.50 a.m. for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 10.00 a.m. Friends please meet at church.

KING August 5 (suddenly), of Kelloe. John, aged 73 years, dearly loved husband of Esther, much loved dad of Joanne and devoted grandad of Kayley. Would friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church, Kelloe on Tuesday at 10.45 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Friends and relatives are invited to The Greyhound Pub after the service.

Thomas William (known as Bill), aged 78 years, dearly loved husband of Doreen, much missed father of Barbara and Stephen, father-in-law and grandfather. Kenneth, aged 80 years, beloved husband of Monica, loving father of Peter, Jane and Clare, a dear father-in-law and grandad of Rosie, Robert, Tom, Simon, Joe and Kate. The funeral service will be held at St. Felix Church, Felixkirk on Friday, August 8 at 11.00 a.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. McKIE (nee Jowett) August 4 (suddenly, in hospital), of Hensfield Grove, Darlington. Lynne BSc. Hons., aged 43 years, dearly loved mam of Leanne and Stuart, much loved daughter of Maureen, a loving sister of Susan, Diane and Michael and much loved by all her family and friends. Funeral Monday. Friends please meet for service in St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church, Brinkburn Road at 10.30 a.m., followed by private cremation.

Annie Louisa, aged 92 years, dearly loved wife of the late Walter, a much loved mam of Sylvia, Joan, William Robert and the late Gladys, a dear mother-in-law of John, Alan, Annie and Tom, also a devoted nana, great-nana and great-great-nana. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Friday for a service and committal at 10.30 a.m.

Fred, aged 78 years, devoted husband of the late Veronica, beloved dad and father-in-law of Lynn and Chris, dear brother of Eleanor, also a dearly loved friend of Jennie. Would friends please meet for service at St. Catherine's Church, Crook on Tuesday, August 12 at 2.10 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Donations if desired, for Ward 4, The Stroke Unit at Bishop Auckland General Hospital, may be sent to Christopher Hardy, Funeral Director, 116 Commercial Street, Willington.

MORRISON August 5 (at home), of The Birches, Hurworth. Maureen, aged 71 years, much loved wife of Stanley, loving mother of Elaine, much loved grandma and a dear sister. Funeral Tuesday. George Edward, aged 93 years, beloved husband of Gwendolyn, much loved father of Irene and Louise and a very dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service at St. Andrew's Church, Aysgarth on Friday, August 15 at 12.00 noon, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds and Yorkshire Cancer Research (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.

POLLITT On August 7, in hospital, after a long illness, of Oswaldene, Osmotherley. Hilda, aged 88 years, dearly loved wife of the late Ted, loving mother of Paula. Funeral service to be held at St. Peter's Church, Osmotherley 1.30 p.m. Wednesday, followed by private family cremation. No flowers please but donations, if wished, for Yorkshire Cancer Care and Church Funds.

PRICE (nee Lehany) A Requiem Mass is to be celebrated at St. Joan of Arc R.C. Church, Catterick Garrison on Satur-day, August 9 at 2.00 p.m. for the repose of the souls of Jean Price (nee Lehany), Mark Price and Baby Samuel Price, to which we hope all friends will join the family. Jim, Judith and family would like to express their sincere gratitude for all the kind letters, flowers and cards they have received.

RIDLEY August 5. Irene (nee Winter), aged 77 years, of Yarm Road, Darlington, passed away after a short illness in Darlington Memorial Hospital and died peacefully. She was attended to in her final hours by husband Jack and sons John and David and daughter Christine and their partners Caroline and Richard, daughter-in-law Sandra was unavoidably detained in Scotland, a cherished mother and nana to Andrew and Claire, she will be greatly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Monday, August 11, 2003. Will friends please meet for service at West Cemetery Chapel at 9.45 a.m.

Robert (Bob), aged 83 years, dearly loved husband of the late Annie, a much loved dad of Gloria, Norma and Glyn, a dear father-in-law of Marcello, brother of Peggy and brother-in-law of Ray. Will friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 11.30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 12, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.
