COATES - Graham Stuart, aged 59 years, of Cockfield, died peacefully in hospital on November 13. Dearly loved only son of Edwin G. Coates and the late Doris P. Coates. Funeral service at Cockfield Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 21 at 1.45 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please, if desired donations may be given on the plate provided in the Church for Cockfield Methodist Church Funds.


COOKE - November 11, (suddenly), of Flora Street, Spennymoor. Baby Tyler Bestford, a much loved son of Dale and Catherine. Will be sadly missed by all the family. Would friends pleae meet at St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor on Friday at 10.00 a.m. for a service followed by interment in Rock Road Cemetery.


CORNBILL - November 15, at Tenlands Nursing Home, of Derwent Road, Ferryhill. Mary, aged 83 years, dearly loved wife of Ernie, a dear mam of Kathleen and Dennis, also a much loved gran. Cortege leaving residence at 12.00 noon on Wednesday, November 22 for service in the Village Methodist Church at 12.15 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium.


COTTRELL - November 12, peacefully at home, in Bishop Auckland, surrounded by his loving family. John Leigh, aged 86 years, beloved husband of the late Gladys, devoted dad of John and Marilyn, dear father-in-law to Mary and Derek, much loved grandad of Judith, Helen, Louise and Eddy, loving great-grandad to Charlotte, Eleanor, Isabella and Joshua, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 3.15 p.m. on Thursday, November 16.


CRADDOCK - November 11, (peace fully, at home), of Barnfield Road, Spennymoor. Trevor, aged 69 years. Beloved husband of Iris, a dearly loved dad of Trevor, Ian, June and Paul, father-in-law of Lilian, Julie, Rob and Linda, a much loved grandad to Nicola, Darren, Michael, Stephanie, Jamie, Shannen and Matthew and great-grandad of Jack and a dear brother and uncle. Would friends please meet in St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor, tomorrow, Thursday, November 16 for a service at 1.00 p.m. followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

Dorothy, aged 88 years, loving wife of the late Joseph and a dear mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Elizabeth Ann, aged 81 years, dearly loved wife of Harry, very dear mother of Brian, Trevor and Eileen, much loved mother-in-law of Debbie, Sharon and Dennis and loving gran of Kevin, Leigh, Clare, Luke, Mark and Matthew. Funeral service to be held at St. John's Church, East Witton on Friday, November 17 at 1.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please, however donations in lieu, if so desired, may be given at the service for the Friends of the Victoria Ward at the Friary Hospital, Richmond. Will friends please meet at the church and accept this intimation.


DODDS - On November 14 (peacefully, in hospital), of Hamilton Row, Waterhouses, formerly of Ushaw Moor. James (Jim) aged 77 years, a dear husband of Mary and a much loved dad and grandad. Friends please meet for service in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Ushaw Moor on Wednesday November 22 at 12.00 noon, followed by interment in St. Joseph's Churchyard. Friends welcome for refreshments in St. Joseph's Catholic Club afterwards Sadly missed and will never be forgotten.


DONALD - November 9, in hospital, of Bank Top Mews, Darlington. Gladys, aged 80 years, beloved wife of Dave, dearly loved mother of Linda and Frank, mother-in-law of Gordon, also a much loved nanna of Ian, Donna, Lynsey, Kirsty and Matthew and great-nanna of Jackson. Funeral Friday. Friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m.


DUNN - November 12 (peace fully, in hospital). George Edward, affectionately known as Tex, aged 92 years, of Heatherwood Grove, Darlington. A dearly loved husband of Florence, a loving dad of Colin, Stuart, Sandra and Michael, also a dear father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral Tuesday November 21. Would friends please meet 10.00 a.m. for service at Holy Family R.C. Church, prior to committal at Darlington Crematorium.

Dearly loved husband of Mavis and dear father of Jane and Kate, father-in-law of John and Patrick and grandfather of Thomas and Michael. Service at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, November 22 at 12.00 noon. No flowers please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Cuthbert's Hospice, c/o Stuart Wright Funeral Service, Gilesgate, Durham.


FIELDEN - Ursula (nee Bowman), aged 76 years, of Staindrop Road, Cockfield, died peacefully in hospital on November 12. Dearly loved wife of George, much loved mam of Lynne, John and Karen, dear mother-in-law to Tommy and June, loving nana of Michelle, Kelly and Kevin and great-nana to Kenzie, Sinead, Luke and Brianna. Funeral service at Cockfield Methodist Church on Tuesday, November 21 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Flowers welcome or, if preferred, donations may be given on the plate provided in the church for Cancer Research UK.


FISHER - November 12, formerly of Westbourne Terrace, Thirsk. Alexander, aged 81 years, beloved husband of the late Marion, loving father of Ernest and Ronald, also a dear father-in-law and grandad. The funeral service will be held at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, November 21 at 11.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to the Canine Defence League.


FITZSIMONS - November 13, in hospital of Langley Park. Joan (nee Ferris), aged 79 years, beloved wife of Harry. Joan will be sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Michael's R.C. Church, Esh on Monday, November 20 at 11.45 a.m.

Norman, aged 73 years, beloved husband of Veronica, devoted dad of Lynne, Kevin and Ian, dear father-in-law to Stephen and Lizzie, a much loved and loving grandad to Jack, Sam and Archie, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 21. Family flowers only.
