ROWNTREE August 18 (peacefully, in hospital), of Ferryhill. Alice (nee Callum), beloved wife of the late Lenny, a much loved aunt and great-aunt, also a dear friend of Nora. Funeral Tuesday. Will friends please meet at 1.45 p.m., for service in St. Luke's Church, Ferryhill, followed by cremation at Durham.

RUSS Tom, aged 82 years, died peacefully in Darlington Memorial Hospital on August 20, 2003. He will be sadly missed as a dearly loved husband to Madge, father to Jen, Jeff and Lesley and our Sandra. Grandad to Charissa, Jamie, Kimberley and James, brother to Betty, Pete and families, brother-in-law to Phil, Chris and families. Friend to many, a kind, loving and courageous person who will be remembered within and beyond Barnard Castle. Would friends please meet for funeral service at St. Mary's Parish Church, Barnard Castle on Wednesday, August 27 at 12.15 p.m., followed by committal at Darlington Crematorium West Cemetery Chapel at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. SCOTT Bob, aged 80 years, of 30 The Ghyll, Richmond died suddenly in hospital on August 18.
