Funeral Thursday, October 12. Would friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 1.15 p.m. Family flowers only please. POTTER - October 12 (suddenly), of Greenfields Road, Bishop Auckland. Adelaide, aged 70 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Neville, a devoted mam of Yvette, Dianne, Glenda and Adele, also a much loved mother-in-law, a dearly loved sister, sister-in-law, nana, great-nana and auntie, also best friend to Betty. Rosamond Mary (nee Davis), beloved wife of the late Laurance, mother to Albert and Neville, mother-in-law to Joan and nana to Philip, Peter and partners. Would friends please meet for funeral service at St. Giles' Church, Bowes on Thursday, October 12 at 1.15 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given in church to Church Funds and Ward 1, Richardson Hospital.


RAYNER - (Meadowfield) Peacefully on October 8, aged 72 years. Harry, the devoted husband of Pam, much loved dad of Lynn and Neil, a dear father-in-law of Paul and Sue, also a loving grandad of Lauren, Jordan, Adam, Simon and Josh. Harry will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Friends please meet at Durham Crematorium on Thursday October 12, at 3.30 p.m. for service prior to cremation. REES - David Frederick (Dai), Royal Signals, Maj (QM) Rtd., of Middleton St. George, Co. Durham, died peacefully on October 5 after a long illness bravely borne. Widower of Timmy, devoted father of Claire. Funeral Monday, October 16. Friends please meet for service in Elm Ridge Methodist Church, Darlington at 10.45 a.m., followed by private cremation. ROBSON - On October 5, in hospital. Violet, aged 81 years, wife of the late Edward, sister of Eva and the late Albert, Nora and George, a much loved aunt. Would friends please meet at St. Cuthbert's Church, Peterlee on Thursday, October 12 for service at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment at Peterlee Cemetery.


SANDERSON - October 6, of Newton Aycliffe. Betty, aged 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Joe, loving mum of Sue, a much loved grandma of Richard and Nicholas and great-grandma of Jake and Timothy, also a dear mother-in-law of Roger. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday October 17, 1.00 p.m. at St. Clare's Church, prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only by request. Funeral Monday, October 16. Friends please meet for service in St. Matthew and St. Luke's Church, Brinkburn Road at 1.45 p.m., followed by interment in West Cemetery.

Mabel, aged 96 years, beloved wife of the late Jim, dearly loved mother of Mabel and the late Shirley, mother-in-law of John and a much loved grandma and great-grandma. A dearly loved husband of Mary, a devoted dad of Keith and father-in-law of Vivien, a dearly loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Interment Friday October 13, in Shildon Cemetery. Cortege leaving residence at 11.50 a.m. for a service in The Methodist Chapel, Shildon at 12.00 noon. Friends please meet at chapel.

Devoted husband of Dot, a dearly loved dad of Nigel and Ian, loved and respected father-in-law, a much loved granda, beloved son and a loving brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor, Friday for a service at 10.30 a.m. followed by committal at Durham Crematorium, family flowers only.
