SPENSLEY - Suddenly at home, surrounded by his loving family on September 25. Joseph (Joe), aged 69 years, of South Church, Bishop Auckland. Beloved husband of Ann, devoted dad of Beverley, Alan, Ann, Marlene, Joseph, Joanna and the late Richard, a dear father-in-law, much loved and loving granda and great-granda, also a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.45 p.m. on Monday, October 2, followed by interment in South Church Cemetery.


STAINSBY - September 22, of Kitchener Terrace, Ferryhill. Ean Munro, aged 74 years, much loved husband of Eva (nee Owens) also a loving father, grandfather and father-in-law. Would friends please meet for service at Ferryhill Methodist Chapel on Friday, September 29 at 2.45 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired for the Candle Lighters Charity.


STAMPER - Kenneth Paul, aged 56 years, on September 16, suddenly in Dubai, devoted husband and father and good friend to many. Would friends please meet in St. John the Evangelist Church, Ingleton Wednesday for a service at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in the Churchyard.


STIRLING - September 26, (peacefully, in hospital), of Morpeth Avenue, Darlington. Tom, aged 84 years. Much loved husband to Dorothy, loving dad of Anita and Barbara, dearly loved father-in-law to Stuart, devoted grandfather to Karen, Richard, Andrew and Rachel, also a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral Tuesday October 3. Would friends please meet 1.15 p.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium.


SUNTER - John of Simonstone, Nr. Hawes. Died suddenly, at home on Friday September 22, aged 84 years. Loving husband of Irene, father of Albert and Elizabeth, grandfather of Martin, Diane, Stuart, Emma and Jack and great-grandfather of Chloe and Nicole. Edward, aged 89 years, beloved husband of Pat, devoted dad of Johnny, dear father-in-law to Kathleen, much loved grandad of Graeme and Kendra, loving great-grandad to Ian and Kane, much loved uncle of Linda, Christopher, Lynsey, John and Ava. Cortege to leave his son's residence at 2.05 p.m. on Friday, September 29 for service in St. Paul's Church, Witton Park at 2.15 p.m., followed by interment in Witton Park Cemetery. TURVEY - (nee Brown) September 26, of Newton Aycliffe. June, aged 76 years, beloved wife of the late Walter (Wally), also a loving mam, nana, great-nana and sister.
