GRAY August 24, tragically as the result of a car accident, of Brancepeth. Myra Ann, aged 75 years, beloved daughter of the late Gladys and Tom and a very dear friend of many. Would friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Meadowfield on Monday, September 1 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in Brancepeth Village Churchyard. Family flowers only please. HUSBAND August 28, peacefully in hospital, of Trimdon Village, late of Quarrington Hill. John, aged 90 years, a loving husband of the late Mary, a much loved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Will be sadly missed by all. Funeral Tuesday. Will friends please meet at 1.00 p.m. for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu to the Butterwick Hospice at Bishop Auckland. A donation plate will be provided at the crematorium.

Laurence (Laurie), aged 76 years, beloved husband of Jessie, a dearly loved dad of Paula and Graham, a loving father-in-law of Kevin, a much loved grandad of Ellen and Adam and a dear brother of Donald and Hughie. Michael S.D.B., aged 82 years, beloved brother of Mona and family and mourned by his parishioners and the Salisian Community. To be received into St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Gilesgate on Tuesday, August 26 (today) at 7.00 p.m. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 2.30 p.m. Interment to follow on Thursday at 11.15 a.m. in Sharples Park, Bolton, Lancashire.
