A much loved wife of Doug, a dearly loved mam of Amanda and Mark, mother-in-law of Neil and Dawn, a devoted nana and beloved daughter of Jean and the late Norman, sister of Anne and Barbara. Will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Would friends please meet at St. Cuthbert's Church on Thursday December 6, at 10.30 a.m. for service, prior to interment at Durham Cemetery at 11.30 a.m. All are welcome back to The Garden House afterwards for refreshments.

STUBBS - On December 3, in hospital, of Stable Cottage, Redmire (formerly of Gatenby). Peter, aged 64 years, dear father of David, Michael, Kevin and Martin, father-in-law of Andrea, Tracy, Helen and Angela, grandad to Lisa, Mikey, Hannah and Ben, brother of Joan and brother-in-law of Bob. Funeral service and interment at St. Mary's Church, Redmire on Monday, December 10 at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to be shared between Church Funds and the Friends of the Friarage (plate in church). Friends please meet at the church.

SWAINSTON - Marjorie, of Brompton-on-Swale, died peacefully in hospital on December 2. Dearly loved daughter of the late Henry and Barbara Swainston and darling sister to Barbara. Funeral service at St. Paul's Church, Brompton-on-Swale on Saturday, December 8 at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in Catterick Village Cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations may be given on the plate provided in the church for the PDSA and Church Funds.

SYLVESTER - December 1. Sheila (nee Robinson), aged 72 years, of Whorlton, beloved wife of Gerald, dear mother and grandma. Sadly missed by all of her family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, December 10 at 11.15 a.m. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, may be given in the crematorium chapel to Friends of Richardson Hospital and Butterwick Children's Hospice.

TAYLOR - December 4, 2007. (Peacefully, in hospital). Jean, aged 81 years, of Newton Aycliffe. Dearly loved mum of Pam and Ray, mother-in-law to Judith, much loved grandma to Michael and Amanda. Funeral Thursday December 13. Would friends please meet 12.30 p.m. for service at St. Clare's Church, Newton Aycliffe followed by interment at Stephenson Way Cemetery. THOMPSON - December 3, of Brandon. Robert William, aged 79 years. Beloved husband of the late Noreen, much loved dad, grandad and great-grandad. Friends please meet for service at St. Andrew's Methodist Chapel, Brandon on Wednesday December 12 at 2.00 p.m. followed by interment in Meadowfield Cemetery. Will be sadly missed.

Frank Gordon, aged 87 years, beloved husband of Jean, dearly loved father of Ian and Elizabeth and a very dear father-in-law and grandad. Funeral service and cremation at West Cemetery Crematorium, Darlington on Wednesday, December 12 at 11.45 a.m. Donations if desired, in lieu of flowers, for the British Heart Foundation (plate in chapel). TWITTY - November 28 (peacefully and with great dignity), of Boundary Court, Bishop Auckland (late of Bowburn). Jessie, aged 81 years, dearly loved and sorely missed wife of Jim, beloved and devoted mother of Colin and Jane, sadly missed and always loved by sister Nan and the late Colin, also a dear loving aunty and cousin. Funeral service to be held at Bowburn Methodist Chapel, Friday, December 7 at 9.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please, if desired, donations in lieu of flowers may be given to the Macmillan Nurses. Will be missed so much by so many. Once met, never forgotten, always loved.

UMPLEBY - Margaret of Northallerton died peacefully with her family on November 29, 2007, aged 76 years. She will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. The funeral service was held at All Saint's Parish Church, Northallerton on Thursday December 6, followed by interment. If desired donations may be given to, The Herriot Hospice Home Care and to Marie Curie.

UNSWORTH - Reuben Daniel, died December 2, aged 10 weeks. Cherished baby son of Alan and Libby and much longed for brother of Isaac and the late Emmie, treasured grandson of Ken and Maureen, Jackie and Stephen and precious great-grandson of Grandma Lily, also much loved nephew of Andrew and Elaine, Tom and Aga, Erica and Lee and much wanted little cousin of Romini, Jayden and Maja. Funeral Tuesday at Durham Crematorium at 9.00 a.m. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Sick Children's Trust, RVI, Newcastle. Our little man lost his courageous battle but he will be treasured in our hearts forever.

Beloved wife of the late William Percy, loving mum of Raymond, Joyce, Stephen and mother-in-law of Edwin and Angela, also a much loved nanna, great-nanna and sister.
