John, aged 83 years, of Norton (formerly of Shildon), a dearly loved husband of Mamie, dearest dad of David and Jean, dear father-in-law of Carrie, a much loved grandad of Claire and John. Service and cremation at Teesside Crematorium on Thursday November 1 at 11.45 a.m. (St. Hilda's Chapel). Friends please meet at the Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

WHYVEL - October 24, peacefully in hospital. Vera, aged 82 years, of Hallgate Moor Green, formerly of Geneva Road, Darlington. Funeral Thursday, November 1. Would friends please meet at 10.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium. No flowers please by request.

WILKIN - On October 22, 2007, peacefully at Bury St. Edmunds. Robert Lenton Wilkin, dearly loved and loving husband of Sheila, formerly of Dalton-on-Tees and Richmond.

WILLIS - October 29 (suddenly but peacefully at home), of Oakdene Terrace, Middlestone Moor. Frank, aged 78 years, beloved husband of the late Doreen, a dearly loved dad of Geoff and Paul, a much loved grandad, loving brother of Mary and a dear friend to Edna. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Spennymoor Monday for a service at 1.30 p.m., followed by committal at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, may be left in the collection plate for Church Funds.

WILSON - Marie (formerly Mulley, nee Hopper) suddenly on October 30, aged 44 years, of Defoe Crescent, Newton Aycliffe, devoted and loving fiance and friend of Peter, much loved mam of Alan and loved by her mam and late dad, beloved twin sister to Maureen and treasured auntie and sister-in-law. Sadly missed by her family and many friends. Will friends please meet at Newton Aycliffe Methodist Church, Neville Parade at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, followed by interment at West Cemetery, School Aycliffe and afterwards at Aycliffe British Legion Club to celebrate Marie's life. Please wear one colourful item. Will never be forgotten.

WOOD - Mary, a loving mother of Donna and grandmother of Victoria. Will be sadly missed, we never got the chance to say Goodbye. Always in our hearts Love you mam.

WOOD - October 30 (peacefully in Bishop Auckland General Hospital Ward 6), of Bishop Auckland, formerly of Wheatley Hill. Mary (nee Curry), aged 72 years, loving mam of Tracey and Carolyn, Alan and Tracey, devoted grandmother of Carly, Sam and Sophie. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Tuesday, November 6 at 1.00 p.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if so desired, may be left at Durham Crematorium in a collection plate for M.I.N.D. Ltd., St Hilda's House 11 Borough Road, Darlington, DL1 1SQ.

WRIGHT - October 31, peacefully, after a long illness, in Darlington Manor Care Home. Cissie (nee Hird), aged 81 years, formerly of Heron Drive, a beloved wife of Maurice, mother of Christine and Elizabeth, also a dear grandmother and great-grandmother. Funeral Tuesday, November 6. Would family and friends please meet 3.45 p.m. for service at Darlington Crema torium. No flowers by request. Donations, if desired, to the Alzheimers Society.

ALDERSON - October 21 (peacefully), of Crook. Dorothy, (nee Butterfield), aged 84 years, beloved wife of the late Len, dearly loved mam of Jean and Cliff, devoted gran of Julie and Helen, much loved great-gran of Nicole, Jake, Emily, Courtney and Callum. Friends please meet for service in Dawson Street Methodist Chapel, Crook on Tuesday, October 30 at 9.30 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if so desired may be sent to West Lodge Nursing Home, Billy Row, Crook. DL15 9SY.

ANDERSON - A Dad is wonderful, so is the name, without one to love life isn't the same. But as long as I live, I shall always be glad, to treasure the memories of the dad that I had. Loved always, Michael x.

ANDERSON - Deep in my heart, your memory I keep, nobody knows how often I weep. When in my thoughts lonely and sad, no longer here my life to share but in my heart you are always there. I long for the best love I ever had, I remember the day I met you, the day God made you mine, I'll remember the day I lost you until the end of time. Will friends please meet for service in St. Wilfrid's R.C. Church, Bishop Auckland at 11.30 a.m., on Monday, October 29, followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may, if desired, be left in church for St. Mary's Football Club and the Macmillan Nurses. After the service, all are invited for refreshment in the Pollards Inn. R.I.P.

ANDERSON - Our Grandad was something special, we wanted him to stay But God decided otherwise and took our Grandad away. We will love and miss you always. Lee, Steph, Reece, Jordan and Tiegan xxx.

Funeral service to take place in All Saints' Church, Northallerton on Thursday, October 25 at 1.15 p.m., followed by cremation.

BAILEY - October 18 (peacefully in Rydal Care Home). Margaret, aged 96 years, late of Napier Street, Darlington. Beloved wife of the late Albert, loving mam of Keith, Freda and the late Joyce and Colin, mother-in-law of Gudrin and Barry, also a much loved gran and great-gran. Funeral Friday, October 26. Would friends please meet 11.15 a.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium. Floral tributes to be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, 50 St. Cuthbert's Way, Darlington.

BARNETT - October 21, in Parklands Home, Crook. Norah, aged 88 years (formerly King, nee Ramsbottom), a much loved and loving mam, gran and nana. Cortege to leave her daughter's residence in Crook at 10.05 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, for service in St. Catherine's Church at 10.15 a.m., followed by interment in Crook Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church.

BERESFORD - On October 19, of Hallgarth Nursing Home, Durham and formerly of Brandon. Tom, aged 88 years, beloved husband of the late Gladys, a much loved dad of Peter and father-in-law of Val, a dearly loved grandad of Lindsay and a loving brother and uncle. Would friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium Chapel on Thursday, October 25 at 11.30 a.m.
