RAISBECK - October 3 (suddenly), of Shildon. Tommy, aged 74 years, beloved husband of the late Dorothy, dearly loved dad of Lesley and David, much loved grandad, a loving brother of Violet and Jimmy, also a dearest uncle. Friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon on Thursday, October 11 at 12.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Floral tributes may be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, Fylands House, Bishop Auckland.

RAMSAY - Stewart Aged 47 years, on October 4, after an illness bravely borne. Much loved husband of Mandy, cherished father of Tanya, a dear son of Lily and Tom, adored brother of Gordon and Sheena. Would friends please meet at 10.00 a.m. on Friday October 12, at St. Andrew's Church, South Church, Bishop Auckland followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations and proceeds to The Butterwick Hospice.

RAWLINSON - On September 28, suddenly at home, Cote Hill Stables, Witton Gilbert. John, aged 59 years. Will be sadly missed by his family and many friends. Ethel Hannah, aged 85 years, devoted wife of the late Thomas, loving mother of Thomas, Melvyn, Maureen, Kevin, Ann and the late Joan, a treasured mother-in-law, dear nanna, great-nanna, aunt and friend to many. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 10.00 a.m., on Tuesday, October 16, followed by interment in West Auckland Cemetery. Family flowers only by request. RUMFITT - Florence Emma (nee Latham), aged 87 years, of Richmond, died peacefully in hospital on October 4. Beloved wife of the late David, loving stepmother to Martin and Barbara and will be greatly missed by her many friends. Funeral service at Richmond Methodist Church on Friday, October 12 at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church. David Anthony O.B.E., MA Cantab, Phd., FIEE, C.Eng., aged 84 years, beloved husband of Sheila and a much loved father and grandfather. A private cremation will be followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at Bainbridge Quaker Meeting House on Wednesday, October 17 at 12.00 noon. No flowers please. SLAVEN - On October 7 (tragically in Scotland), of Darlington. William (Billy), aged 54 years, a loving dad, grandad and brother. Funeral service on Thursday, October 18, 10.00 a.m. at St. Cuthbert's Church, Darlington, prior to cremation at Darlington Crematorium. Floral tributes may be sent to 45 Ribble Drive, Skerne Park, Darlington.

SPINK - October 6, peacefully at home, Hope House Farm, Heighington. Margery (nee Johnson), aged 60 years, beloved wife of the late John, devoted mother of Jonathan, also dear sister-in-law and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Michael's Church, Heighington at 2.00 p.m. on Thursday, October 11, followed by interment in the churchyard. Family flowers only. STEPHENSON - Fred M.B.E., aged 87 years, formerly of Woolley Hill, Woodland and Raby Moor, Staindrop, died peacefully at Beaconsfield Court Nursing Home, Barnard Castle on October 9, after a long illness bravely borne. Beloved husband of the late Gladys (nee Sayer), much loved dad of Anthony and Paul, a dear father-in-law and brother-in-law and a loving grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service at Woodland Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, October 17 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the chapel. No flowers by request, donations if desired, may be given on the plate provided in the chapel for Beaconsfield Court Recreational Transport Fund.

THOMAS - Hannah (Nancy) October 8, at Yoden Dene, Blackhall, (Formerly of Dene View, High Hesleden), aged 90 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late John William, a much loved mother, mother-in-law and grandma. Service to take place at St. Andrew's Church, Blackhall on Monday 12.30 p.m. prior to cremation at Durham Cremator ium. All friends are kindly invited please meet at the church.

THOMAS - Derek Sadly missed by all his sisters and brothers. Re-united with his mam, dad, brother, son and niece. Rest in peace Derek, our brother.

THOMAS - October 6 (suddenly), of Stephen Court, Darlington. Derek (Del Boy), aged 58 years, husband to Patricia for 39 years, much loved dad to Maxine, Andrew, Fiona, Susan, Pamela and the late Robert, also a dearly loved father-in-law, grandfather of 14, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and soon to be a great-grandfather. Will be greatly missed by all. Funeral Wednesday, October 17. Would friends please meet 1.45 p.m. for service at St. Matthew's Church, Darlington followed by interment in the West Cemetery, Darlington. A reception will be held at The Wheatsheaf Pub afterwards, everyone is welcome.
