Funeral Tuesday, September 11. Friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 10.15 a.m.

WOOD - Derek (Horden) On Friday August 31, aged 73 years. Loving husband of Joan dear father of Yvonne, Joy and Denise. A much loved father-in-law, grandfather and great grandfather. Service at 11.00 a.m. Friday September 7 at St Mary's Church, Horden followed by cremation at Sunderland.

WOOD - Derek Dearly loved brother of Barry and brother-in-law of Elsie. Will be sadly missed.

ALDERSON - August 28, in hospital in Somerset. Ken, aged 77 years, dearly loved dad of Julie, dear father-in-law of Graham, a devoted grandad of William and George. A very dear brother of Ivy and the late Stanley, a loving brother-in-law and uncle. A former employee of J.L. Moore and past fruit and vegetable stall holder in the covered market.

ANDERSON - August 24, (peacefully), in Rydal Care Home, (formerly of Copley Bent and Kitchener Street, Darlington). Gladys, (nee Smith), aged 96 years. A beloved wife of the late Robert William and a dearest aunt of Peter. Funeral Monday September 3. Will friends please meet at 10.00 a.m. for a service in Pierremont Methodist Chapel, Darlington, followed by interment in The West Cemetery. Family flowers only.

ANDERSON - Donald Suddenly, in hospital on August 23, of Saltburn. Don, aged 70 years. Beloved and cherished husband of Margaret, (nee Fox), dearly loved and devoted dad of Stuart and Richard, loving father-in-law of Katey and proud and dearly loved grandad of Finlay. Funeral service in Emmanuel Parish Church, Saltburn on Monday September 3, at 2.30 p.m. prior to cremation. Will friends please meet at church. Family flowers only please. A collection plate at church for donations in lieu of flowers if so desired for The Vascular Research Fund.
