GILL - On July 18, peacefully at Rosedale Nursing Home, Catterick Garrison and formerly of Low Row. Elizabeth Gladys, aged 85 years, dearly loved wife of the late Thomas Leonard, very dear mam of Anne, Dorothy and John, much loved mother-in-law of the late Alan, a special granny and great-gran. Funeral service and cremation private.

GRAY - July 19 (peacefully in hospital). Jennie, aged 95 years, of Fenby Avenue, Darlington, a much loved mum, mother-in-law, gran and great-gran. Funeral Wednesday, July 25. Would family and friends please meet 3.45 p.m. for service at Darlington Crematorium. Family flowers only by request. Donations, if desired, to Cancer Research.

HALLIDAY - July 15 (at home), of Asenby, Thirsk. Liezel, aged 50 years, beloved wife of John and loving mother to Ben and Blake. The funeral service will be held at St. Columba's Church, Topcliffe on Wednesday, July 25 at 12.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only please. Donations in memory may be made to Yorkshire Cancer Research.

HOLMES - On July 13 (peacefully, in Tenlands Care Home, Ferryhill), of Weardale Street, Low Spenny-moor. Freda, aged 73 years, a much loved mam, nana and sister. Interment Thursday, July 19 in York Hill Cemetery, Spennymoor, following a service in the Methodist Chapel, Half Moon Lane, Spennymoor at 12.30 p.m. Friends please meet at Chapel.

Mary (nee Jarvis), aged 75 years, a devoted wife of Joe, a loving mother of John and Paul, mother-in-law to Brenda, dearest granma of Allan and Margaret, great-granma to Jon, Daniel and Peter also a dear brother of Wilkie. Funeral to take place on Tuesday, July 24. Friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium at 1.30 pm

HUGILL - James, aged 76 years, peacefully in St. James' after a long illness on July 14. Husband of the late Grace and partner of Wendy, loving dad of Alison, Jonathan, Lois and Stephen, also devoted grandad and uncle. Service at All Saints' Church, Bramham on Friday July 27, 2007 at 11.00 a.m., followed by cremation at Lawnswood Crematorium at 12.20 p.m. Family flowers only please. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass on Wednesday July 18, at 11.00 a.m. followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for, Yorkshire Cancer Research.

ATKIN - On July 9, peacefully in hospital. Catherine (Kitty), aged 72 years, of Ludworth. Beloved wife of the late Kevin, a dear mother of Philip and the late Denise, a proud nana of Ashley, Gavin and Lauren, a loving great-nana of Kieron, Hayley, Jack and Luke, a dear sister of Joan, sister-in-law of Ian, Anne, Joan and the late Patricia and Terry, also a beloved aunt of Katrina. Friends please meet for Requiem Mass at Thornley R.C. Church on Monday, July 16 at 10.00 a.m., followed by interment in Shadforth Cemetery.

BAILEY - Jane, aged 83 years, formerly of Richmond, died peacefully at Maple Lodge Nursing Home, Scotton on July 7. Mother of John. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday July 17 at 1.15 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel

BEAL - July 10, of South Church, Bishop Auckland. Kenneth, aged 76 years, dearly beloved husband of the late Catherine, much loved dad of John, Ray, Les, Norman, Graham and Denise, also a dearly loved father-in-law, grandad, great-grandad, brother and uncle. Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church at 1.30 p.m. on Monday, July 16, followed by interment in Rosemount Cemetery.

BEDDELL - On July 6 (of Thornley) after a short illness bravely borne with great courage and dignity. James Wilfred (Wilf) aged 62 years, Brass Band Player and Cond-uctor, a beloved husband of Sheila, loving dad of Joanne, brother of Greta and a dearly loved brother-in-law and uncle. Friends please meet for service at Thornley Methodist Chapel on Friday, July 13 at 12.45 pm, followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu of flowers to the Macmillan Nurses.

BELL - July 11, (peacefully, at home), of Leamside. Dick, aged 77 years. Dearly loved husband of Sheila, a much missed dad of Peter. Church, Coundon on Friday, July 13 at 9.30 a.m., to be followed by interment in St. Joseph's Churchyard. Friends please meet at church.

BILLINGHAM - July 11 (peacefully, in hospital), of Tudhoe Village, Spennymoor. Marian dearly loved wife of Dennis, a dear sister, sister-in-law and aunty and an extra special aunty to Elaine, Paul, Martin and Beth. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Wednesday for a service and committal at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired may be left in the collection plate at the Crematorium for Kidney Research.

BRAMLEY - Pamela Margaret July 6, peacefully in hospital. Pam, aged 54 years, of Raby Street, Darlington, dearly beloved mum of Andy and Amy, dear sister of David, Jackie, Martin, Maxine and Big Andy and adored nanny to Joseph. Funeral Thursday, July 12.
