Will friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland at 1.30 p.m. on Friday, September 26, followed by cremation at Durham.

WOOD LOVE HUNTER September 24, in Bishop Auckland Hospital, after a long illness bravely borne, formerly of Blythe Avenue, St. Helens Auckland. Harry, aged 80 years, loving husband of Doris, a loving father of Brenda, David and the late Kathleen, also a much loved and loving grandfather and great-grandfather. Cortege to leave his daughter's residence at 10.50 a.m. on Monday, September 29 for service in Bishop Auckland Methodist Church at 11.00 a.m., followed by interment in Bishop Auckland Town Cemetery. Will friends please meet at church.

WOOD September 24 (peacefully in the loving care of Howlish Hall Nursing Home, Coundon), late of Escombe. John Emmerson (Jack), aged 90 years, beloved husband of the late Sarah (Sally), also a much loved father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather. Would family and friends please meet at 11.30 a.m. on Wednesday October 1 for service in The Saxon Church, Escombe followed by interment in Witton Park Cemetery. Family flowers only please. George, aged 80 years, dearly loved husband of 57 years to Alice, loving father of Vera and Susan, father-in-law of Paul and a dear brother-in-law of Ena. COWARD Gwen Died peacefully in Bedford on September 29, 2003, late of Newton Hall, Durham. Widow of Percy and much loved mother of Eileen and Jen, grandma of Charlotte and Nick. Cremation to take place in Bedford. Remembrance service to take place in Durham at a later date.
