Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 18. Friends please meet at Sedgefield Methodist Church at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Family flowers only please.

ELLSWORTH - May 9, suddenly but peacefully at home in Shildon. Pat (nee Stairmond), aged 66 years, beloved wife of the late Raymond, also a much loved mam, mother-in-law and nana. Will friends please meet for service today, Monday, May 14 at 9.10 a.m. in St. John's Church, Shildon, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.

ESCREET - On May 15, of Crossgate Moor, Durham. Chris, dearly loved husband of Alison, devoted dad to Kate and Beth, much loved son of Joan, a dear brother to Paul, Clive, Nigel, Jonathon and will be sadly missed by all family and friends. Would friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium Chapel on Wednesday, May 23 at 1.30 p.m., followed by interment at Chapel View Greenfield Burial Site, Rowley, Consett. FAWCETT - Darlington May 6, (at home in Blackwell). Betty, (nee Wrightson), aged 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert, (Bobby). She will be sadly missed by all her family and friends. Funeral Friday May 18. Would friends kindly meet for service in Elm Ridge Methodist Church, 1.00 p.m. prior to interment in The West Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Any enquiries or donations in lieu of flowers in aid of Elm Ridge Methodist Church may be sent to, Whitehouse Funeral Service, 17 West Auckland Road, Darlington, DL3 9EL. Tel: (01325) 482999. FIELDING - Olga, aged 74 years of Toft Hill (formerly of Royton, Lancashire), died peacefully in hospital on May 14. A much loved sister of Marie, dear sister-in-law of David, also a dear auntie of Daniel and Katherine. Funeral service at Etherley Methodist Church on Tuesday May 22, at 10.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only please, donations if desired, may be given on the plate provided in the church for Church Funds and The Great North Air Ambulance.

GIBSON - May 16, of Bishop Auckland. Lena, aged 93 years, beloved wife of Arthur, devoted mam of Janet, a dear mother-in-law to Malcolm. Will friends please meet for service in St. Helen's Church at 1.10 p.m. on Monday, May 21, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may, if desired, be given for the Church Organ Fund.

Dearly loved husband of Helga, step-father of Gordon, Gerry and Glenn, very loved brother of Pam, brother-in-law Barry and dearly loved uncle of Kim, David and John. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Richmond on Tuesday, May 22 at 1.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Alison Frances (Bonner), aged 41 years, loving daughter of Jean, beloved sister of Anth-ony and Jason, a caring mam of Gavin, Daniel and Alisha and a beloved partner of Joe. Funeral service to be held at Harrogate Crematorium on Friday, May 18 at 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, for the British Heart Foundation.

HUMBLE - May 11, at home in Hunwick. Ronnie, aged 82 years, beloved husband of the late Elsie, devoted dad of Alan and Don, dear father-in-law to Jill and Janine, a much loved grandad of Michael, Stacey, Lauren, Lee and Rachel, also a loving great-grandad of Kelsie. Will friends please meet for service in St. Paul's Church, Hunwick at 10.30 a.m. on Friday, May 18, followed by cremation at Durham. By his request, family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be given for the church choir fund.

INMAN - Derek, on May 6, aged 47 years, peacefully after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Ruth, loving father of Matthew and Rebecca and much loved son of Jenny and Norman. Devoted brother of Trevor, John and Deborah and dear brother-in-law of Fiona, Sharon and Damian. Also a well loved uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. Derek's funeral took place on Tuesday, May 15, in the Forest of Dean, in Gloucestershire. A service of celebration of Derek's life will be held in St Paul's Church, Witton Park, on Saturday, June 2, at 2.00 p.m. Sadly missed.

JARVIS - Christopher (Lieut. Col. retired). On May 10, suddenly at home in Eryholme, aged 65 years. Dearly loved husband of Hazel, loving father of Rachel, Matthew and Simon, stepfather to Ashley, Heather and their respective families, also a dear Grandpa Christopher. Funeral service to take place at St. Mary's Church, Eryholme on Monday, May 21 at 2.30 p.m., followed by cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if wished, may be given for the Breast Cancer Unit at the Friarage Hospital and the Cardiac Unit at James Cook University Hospital.

JONES - (Prince) Suddenly and without reason, on May 12. Stephen (Stevie), aged 11 years, the much loved and loving son of Susan and Stephen, dearest brother of Shane, Jay and Shannon, also a treasured grandson, nephew, cousin and good friend. Will friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon at 12.40 p.m. on Friday, May 18, followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery. All are welcome for refreshment in Elm Road Club after this service.
