John, aged 62 years, a dear partner of Joyce, a beloved and devoted dad of Sharon and Lynn, father-in-law of Cliff and Andrew, a treasured grandad of Laura and Alex and a loving brother to Monica. Would friends please meet for service on Wednesday, May 9 at Sacred Hearts and English Martyrs R.C. Church, Thornley at 10.00 a.m., prior to cremation at Durham Crematorium.

CHAPMAN - Joan (nee Heeley), aged 82 years, peacefully at home of Bainesse, Catterick Village on April 27, 2007. Beloved wife of the late Donald Chapman dearly loved mother of Paul and Susan and a loving grandmother of Mark and Clare. Funeral service at St. Anne's Church, Catterick Village on Friday, May 4 at 10.30 a.m., followed by interment in the Cemetery. Friends please meet at the Church. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given on the plate provided in the Church for St. Anne's Church Funds.

CLARKSON - May 1, of Bishop Auckland, after a short illness. Dennis, aged 74 years, beloved husband of Kathleen, devoted dad of Karen and Debra, dear father-in-law to Graham and Michael, much loved and loving grandad of Mark, Stephen, Michael and Kathryn. Will friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 10.45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be left at the crematorium for the Critical Care Unit at Bishop Auckland General Hospital.

COATES - Hazel Mary (nee Fullerton) aged 56 years, of Tunstall, peacefully in hospital on April 27, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved wife of John, dearest daughter of Molly, loving sister of Phil, sister-in-law of Val and Peter and a dear aunt of David and Sarah. Funeral service at Holy Trinity Church, Tunstall on Friday, May 4 at 1.00 p.m., followed by interment in the Churchyard. Friends please meet at Church. CONNOR - May 3, peacefully, after a long illness at Ventress Hall, Darlington. Kathleen aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late Billy, loving mother of Rosemary, mother-in-law of Adie, adored nana of Scott and Shelagh, also a great-nana. Funeral Wednesday, May 9. Loving wife to the late James, precious mam of Sandra and Catherine, mother-in-law of John and grandma to Emily and Adam. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, 12.10 p.m. at All Saint's Church, Wheatley Hill followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium. Friends please meet at church.

FERRY - Malcolm aged 53 years, of Richmond, former licensee of The Fleece Hotel, Richmond and The Colburn Lodge, Colburn, died peacefully at St. Teresa's Hospice on April 23, after an illness borne with great courage and dignity. Dearly loved partner of Elaine, much loved dad of Hannah Elizabeth and Amelia Jayne and a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle.
