Grandad, you will always be dearly loved You will always be dearly missed, you will always be with us. Sarah, Louise, Paul, Sophie, Matthew, Conor, Charlotte, Alexander, Lauren and Jules.

WADDINGTON - March 25, suddenly in hospital. Thomas Richard (Dick), aged 87 years, of Trimdon Village, formerly of Darlington. Beloved husband of Anne, loving father of Robert, Liz and Peter, also a loving stepfather, grandad and great-grandad, a dear brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral service to take place on Friday, March 30 at St. Mary Magdalene Church at 12.30 p.m., prior to cremation at Durham. Friends invited, please meet at the church. Family flowers only. Donations, if so desired, to Butterwick Hospice. Thank you for a happy twenty years.

WALKER - Nancy (nee May), aged 91 years, of The Fields, Etherley, died peacefully in hospital on March 26. Dearly beloved wife of the late John Leeman Walker, dear mam of Ann and Holmes and sister of the late Betty. Funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Tuesday, April 3 at 1.45 p.m. Friends please meet at the Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only please, if desired donations may be given on the plate provided at the Crematorium Chapel for Etherley Methodist Chapel Funds. Grateful thanks to Alison and staff at The Fields and to Ward 2, Bishop Auckland General Hospital.

WALMSLEY - On March 20 (suddenly, at home), of Brandon (formerly of Durham City). Clive, aged 76 years, devoted husband of the late Audrey, loving dad of Peter, father-in-law of Chris-tine, a dear brother of Leslie and also a caring uncle. Friends please meet for service at the Bethel Methodist Chapel North Road, Durham City on Friday, March 30 at 2.15 p.m., followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium.

WARDLE - March 30, of Bishop Auckland. Stanley, aged 78 years, devoted husband of the late Doris, much loved dad of Roland and Jackie, also a caring grandad. A private service is to be held.

WEARMOUTH - (nee Cleasby) Sarah Frances (ex Head Teacher of North Cowton School), of Balders-dale, at home on March 16. Much loved and devoted wife of the late George, an adored mum and a cherished nanna and auntie. Funeral service to take place at Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Friday, March 30 at 1.00 p.m. Donations for Osteoporosis Research may be made in Church or sent c/o G. Brownless and Son. WELDON - March 27, of Derwent Terrace, Spennymoor. Sylvia (nee Morgan), aged 70 years. Beloved wife of Norman, a dearly loved mam of Susan, Lance and Joanne, a loving stepmam of Paul and Kevin, a dear mother-in-law and a much loved gran and great-gran. Would friends please meet in St. Paul's Church, Monday for a service at 10.30 a.m. followed by interment in York Hill Cemetery.

WEST - March 21, (peacefully), in The Millings, Bedale. Catherine Baker, aged 96 years. Wife of the late Maurice Charles. Funeral service and interment to be held at St. Gregory's Church, Bedale on Saturday March 31, at 11.00 a.m. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for The R.N.L.I.

WHARTON - March 27, of Bishop Auckland. Mary (nee Foster), aged 78 years, beloved wife of the late Hughie, much loved mother of Christine, dear sister of Terry and Ronnie, also dear sister-in-law, aunt and good friend to many. Will friends please meet for service in St. Anne's Church, Bishop Auckland at 12.30 p.m. on Monday, April 2, followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if desired, to St. Anne's Church Fund or Bishop Auckland Cancer Trust Fund, c/o Mrs. Karen Capenhurst.

WILSON - (nee Bollands) March 26, 2007. Peacefully in her sleep on her 78th birthday. Jean, a dearly beloved wife of Ken, much loved mam, mother-in-law and nanna. Funeral Friday March 30. Would friends please meet 1.00 p.m. for service at The Salvation Army Citadel, Shildon, followed by cremation at Darlington Crematorium Family flowers only please. WILSON - March 22, peacefully, at home, in Kirkby Fleet-ham. James George (Jim), aged 92 years, beloved husband of Jean, a loving father and father-in-law of James, Maggie, Christina and Neil, a devoted grandad of David, Sarah, Robert, James, Rachel and Katie. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Kirkby Fleetham on Saturday, March 31 at 3.00 p.m., followed by interment at Great Fencote. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to be shared between local home care charities.

ALDERSON - March 14, suddenly at home, in York. Janice Mary (nee Peart), aged 58 years, formerly of West Auckland. Dearly beloved mam of Andrew, Nicola and Lee, dear mother-in-law to Sharon, Gary and Tracey, treasured daughter of Winnie and much loved nana, also a dearest partner of Kevin. Will friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.15 p.m. on Thursday, March 22.

ANDERSON - On March 15, of High Pittington. Elizabeth (Betty), aged 89 years, beloved wife of the late George, loving mam of Malcolm, mother-in-law of Jennifer and a devoted gran of Michael. Friends please meet for service in Pittington Methodist Church on Saturday, March 24 at 9.15 a.m., followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu may be given after the service for Church Funds. Friends welcome for refreshments in the church afterwards.

Fred, aged 83 years, of Avon Court, Newton Aycliffe, a much loved husband of Nora, a dearly loved dad of Sandra, a dear father-in-law of Mike, grandad of Michael, beloved brother of the late Argent and Mary, also a loving uncle. Funeral Monday, March 26. Would friends please meet 12.45 p.m. for service at St. Clare's Church, prior to cremation at Darlington.

APPLEBY - March 21, of Shildon. Ethel Ann. Beloved wife of the late Hartley, younger sister of Hilda, dearest aunt of Judith and the late Keith, also a much loved and respected great-aunt and great-great-aunt. Will all family and friends please meet at St. John's Church, Shildon on Wednesday March 28, for service at 10.20 a.m. followed by private cremation at Darlington. Family flowers only. ATKINSON - March 19 (peacefully), in Whorlton Grange Care Home, of Barnard Castle. Thomas (Tom), aged 80 years (Freeman of Durham City). Devoted husband of Joan, dear father of the late Jeff Atkinson and dear brother of John. Sadly missed by all of his family and friends. Would friends please meet for funeral service at Darlington Crematorium on Monday, March 26 at 10.45 a.m. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired may be given in the Crematorium Chapel to the Blue Gentian Club.

BAINBRIDGE - Marjorie, aged 75 years of Staindrop. Suddenly on March 17. Dearly loved wife of Michael, much loved mother of Nigel, Karen and the late Richard, a loving grandmother and a dear cousin to Ethel. Funeral service at Staindrop Methodist Chapel on Wednesday March 28 at 12.00 noon, followed by burial in the cemetery. Friends please meet at the church.

BILLINGHAM - March 15 (peacefully), of Croxdale. Betty (nee Worthy), aged 90 years. Dearly loved wife of George and wonderful mother of Josephine and devoted grany to Lucy, Jonathan and Thomas. To be received into St. Charles R.C. Church, Tudhoe on Thursday March 22, at 5.00 p.m. Requiem Mass on Friday March 23, at 11.00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Flowers or donations in lieu if desired to, Alzhemiers Society c/o, Stuart Wright Funeral Service, 23 Marshall Terrace, Gilesgate, Durham.

Beloved husband of the late June, (nee Dalton), loving father of Kevin and the late Lynn, dear father-in-law of Margaret and Jack, a much loved grandad and great-grandad, also brother and brother-in-law. The funeral service will take place on Monday March 26, at Darlington Crematorium 2.15 p.m. Friends invited, please meet at the chapel. Family flowers only. BLYTHE - Peacefully in hospital after a short illness, on March 17, of Viewforth Villas, Crossgate Moor, Durham (formerly of Fieldhouse Post Office). Mary, beloved wife of the late Robert, loving mother of Ian, mother-in-law of Jane, beloved mother of the late David and a dear nana to Joshua and Jacob. Would friends please meet for service and cremation at Durham Crematorium on Wednesday, March 28 at 1.00 p.m. Floral tributes may be sent to N. Alderson Funeral Directors, Flass Terrace, Ushaw Moor. Friends welcome for refreshments at Mount Oswald Manor afterwards.

Baby Grace, aged 22 months, peacefully at home in Middleton-St-George, beloved daughter of Keith and Kathryn, loving sister of Joshua, also a much loved granddaughter of Joy and Chris and Sheila and Allan. The funeral service will take place on Friday, March 23 10.30 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, North Road, Darlington, prior to a private interment. Family flowers only, by request.
