Donations, if desired, to the Franziska Willer Unit at Sedgefield Community Hospital.

FORSTER - Stella On March 15, in the Bannatyne Lodge Nursing Home, Peterlee (late of Shotton Colliery). Stella, aged 93 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Jimmy, a much loved mam, dear mother-in-law and also a treasured grandma and great-grandma. Cremation Durham Crematorium on Friday, March 23. A much loved mother of Paul and the late Carole, a much missed nan and great-nan, also a very dear sister. Would friends please meet at St. Andrew's Church, Spennymoor on Wednesday for a service at 10.15 a.m. followed by interment at Rock Road Cemetery.

GRAY - Maurice Sewell B.E.M. aged 84 years of Coronation Gardens, Staindrop, died peacefully in hospital on March 15. Dearly loved husband of Lily, much loved dad of Angela, dear father-in-law of John and loving grandad of Phillip. Funeral service at St. Mary's Church, Staindrop on Wednesday March 28 at 2.30 p.m. followed by cremation at Darlington. Friends please meet at the church.

GRIGG - On March 16, of The Beeches Care Home, Kelloe. Mary (nee Pearson), aged 81 years, beloved wife of the late Lockland (Larry) a much loved mam of Linda and mother-in-law of Ray, a devoted nana of Louise and Stuart. Would friends please meet for service in Durham Crematorium Chapel on Friday, March 23 at 3.30 p.m. Will be sadly missed by all her family and friends.

HADWIN - Suddenly on March 14, of Lansdowne Road, Coxhoe. Philip, aged 78 years, dearly loved husband of Margaret, much loved dad of Jacqueline and Denise, father-in-law of Andrew, a dear grandad of Liam, Sean and Ryan and will be sadly missed by brothers, sisters and all the family. Would friends please meet for service in St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe on Friday, March 23 at 1.15 p.m., private cremation to follow. Family flowers only please. Beloved wife of the late Ronald, a dear mam of Elizabeth and son-in-law John and grandmother to Andrea and John and great-grandmother to Ruby. HEWITT - March 17, of Leeholme. Ann, aged 71 years, beloved wife of the late Frank, a much loved mam, loving nana and great-nana, also a dear sister and aunt. Will friends please meet for service in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Coundon at 1.00 p.m. on Friday, March 30, followed by cremation at Durham. After the service all are welcome to refreshment in Leeholme Club.

Margaret (Peggy, nee Blacklock), aged 80 years, beloved wife of the late John, also a dear sister, sister-in-law, aunt and great-aunt. Will all family and friends please meet for service in Shildon Methodist Church at 11.00 a.m. on Thursday, March 29, followed by cremation at Durham. Family flowers only.
