Dearly loved and greatly missed mam of Barry and Janice and a much loved grandma of Zach. Friends please meet for service in St. Oswald's Church, on Saturday February 3, at 10.00 a.m. followed by interment in South Road Cemetery. Friends welcome for refreshments at Mount Oswald Manor afterwards.

WOOD - Annie (Nan), aged 90 years, peacefully on January 24, of Stanton Hall, Darlington, (formerly of Lazenby Close). Beloved wife of the late John Brian, dearly loved mother of Philip and Richard, loving mother-in-law of Sheila and Ann and a much loved granny of Nicholas, Gareth and Adam. Funeral Friday February 2. Would friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m. No flowers by request. Olive (formerly of Trimdon Village), beloved wife of the late Len (together with the Lord after fifty years), loving mother of Moira and Peter, dear grandmother of Andrew and John and a proud great-gran of Thomas, Isabel, Eve and Anna. Would friends please meet for service at Sedgefield Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, February 7 at 2.45 p.m., followed by interment at Trimdon Grange Cemetery.

WORLOCK - On January 29 (peacefully in Defoe Court Nursing Home), of Aycliffe Village, formerly of Newton Aycliffe. Sheila, aged 86 years, beloved wife of the late James, also a much loved mum and gran. The funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 7, 11.00 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Newton Aycliffe, prior to a private interment. Friends welcome, please meet at church. Floral tributes may be sent to John Meynell Funeral Service, Stephenson Way, Newton Aycliffe or donations in lieu, if so desired, may be made to Cancer Research, Lloyds Bank, Skinnergate, Darlington, DL3 7ND.

WRIGHT - January 28, peacefully at home, with his family, in Fir Tree. Barry, aged 70 years, beloved husband of Audrey, devoted father of Christine and Katharine, a dear father-in-law, also a loving grandad. Will friends please meet for service in Howden-le-Wear Methodist Church at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, followed by interment in Howden-le-Wear Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu for the Butterwick Hospice and Motor Neurone Disease Association may be left in church. After the service all are welcome to refreshment in the church hall.

ADAMSON - January 23 (peacefully at Richardson Hospital), of Cotherstone. John Bernard, aged 90 years, dearly loved husband of the late Christine, much loved father of Sally. Private service and cremation.

ADDISON - January 18, peacefully in hospital, of St. Augustine's Court, Darlington. Edmund (Ted), aged 85 years, a much loved dad, grandad, great-grandad, brother and friend. Funeral Friday, January 26. Family and friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 2.45 p.m.

ALLINSON - Mary, aged 78 years, peacefully in hospital, of Pembroke Court. Loving mother of Anne. Funeral Monday, January 29 at 1.15 p.m. Would friends please meet for service at Darlington Crematorium.

ANDERSON - On January 18, suddenly after a long illness bravely borne. Neil, aged 75 years, of Darlington, loving husband to Jean, father of Lynn, Peggy, Iain and John, also a special grandad and great-grandad and loving brother to Alan and Doreen. Funeral Thursday, January 25. Would friends please meet for service in Darlington Crematorium at 3.45 p.m., prior to cremation. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, if so desired, to Arthritis Research Council.

BACKHOUSE - January 23, peacefully. Hughie, aged 77 years, of Thornton Watlass, much loved husband and step-dad of Betty, Simon, Jane and Phil and adored grandpa of Charlie and Em. Funeral service to be held at St. Mary's Church, Thornton Watlass on Tuesday, January 30 at 2.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Family flowers only. Donations if desired for St. Mary's Church and Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

BEARD - May Lindsay On January 18, peacefully in hospital. Lindsay, aged 78 years, dearly beloved wife of the late Eric, loving mam of Glen, Diane and Mark, also much loved grandmother of Sophie, Amy, Hanne and Lilli. Service to take place in St. Mary Magdalene Church, Hart Village, Hartlepool on Friday, at 2.30 p.m., prior to interment with her late husband Eric. Friends and neighbours are kindly invited. Floral tributes are welcome to the Co-operative Funeral Service, Strathmore House, Stockton Road, Hartlepool.

BLYTHE - On January 24, peacefully at home in Northallerton, after an illness fought with great courage. Maureen, dearly loved wife of Fred, loving mother of Garry, Samantha and Stephen and a dear grandmother and sister of Francis and Eileen. Sillar (Priscilla) (nee Hart), aged 90 years, dearly beloved wife of the late James Bone, cherished and adored by son Colin and Maureen. Will be greatly missed. You were the best and you were ours. Dearly beloved husband of the late Ilma Bowman, special and much loved dad of Linda, Jacqueline and Diane, dear father-in-law of Alan and Alan and Peter, devoted grandad and great-grandad. Funeral service at Hartlepool Crem atorium, Brierton Lane, Friday 12.00 noon. All are welcome.

BRADSHAW - January 17, of Chilton. Martin, aged 46 years, dearly loved son of Mary and the late Bob Bradshaw, a much loved brother of sisters Jean, Gwen, Pauline, Linda and Janet, also brothers Eric and Gordon, sister-in-law Yvonne, brothers-in-law Allan, Brian and Derick and a dearly loved uncle. Our family has been torn apart leaving us all with broken hearts.
