Sheila (nee Willis), aged 70 years, loving wife of Bob, dearly loved mum of Velma and Vicki, dear mother-in-law of Andrew and Steven, also a devoted grandma (Grandy) of triplets Felicia, Eleanor and Alexandra and grandson Thomas. Friends please meet for service in St. Andrew's Church, Bishop Auckland on Thursday, January 25 at 2.00 p.m., followed by private cremation. Any flowers may be sent to Co-operative Funeralcare, Fylands House, Bishop Auckland.

ROSE - January 24, in The Hawthorns Nursing Home, Peterlee, after a long illness borne with great courage and dignity, of Woodlands Avenue, Wheatley Hill. Jim, aged 68 years, dearly loved husband and soulmate of Edith, dearest dad and best friend of Janette, also a much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Cortege leaving residence Tuesday, January 30 at 1.45 p.m. Friends please meet at All Saints' Church, Wheatley Hill for service at 2.00 p.m., followed by interment at Wheatley Hill Cemetery.

Sarah, aged 95 years, of Darlington, dearly beloved wife of the late James, much loved mum of Sheila, adored nanna of Vincent, Christopher and Jeremy, great-grandma of Genevieve, Max and Oscar. Funeral Friday, January 26. Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at St. Thomas Aquinas R.C. Church, Darlington at 9.00 a.m., prior to cremation. Family flowers only please. SALISBURY - January 19 (peacefully in hospital), of Coxhoe. Ada, aged 90 years, beloved wife of the late Walter, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends please meet for service at St. Mary's Church, Coxhoe on Friday, January 26 at 9.45 a.m. followed by cremation at Durham Crematorium at 10.30 a.m.

SAUNDERS - Sarah Beatrice (Bea), aged 92 years, formerly of Hallgarth, Hipswell, died peacefully at Richmond House, Richmond on January 22. Beloved wife of the late Charlie, much loved mum of Allan and Pat, dear mother-in-law to Sylvia and a loving grandma and great-grandma. Funeral service at Richmond Methodist Church on Tuesday, January 30 at 1.30 p.m., followed by private cremation. Friends please meet at the church. Beloved wife of the late Alan, loving mam of Shirley, Valerie and the late Alan, dear mother-in-law of Jim, Lol and Pat, also a devoted nana and great-nana. Friends please meet for service in St. John's Church, Shildon on Friday January 26, at 2.15 p.m. followed by interment in Shildon Cemetery.

SMITH - January 19 (peacefully, in hospital), of Craddock Street, Spennymoor (formerly of Ushaw Moor). Chris, aged 65 years, beloved husband of Joyce and a dearly loved dad and grandad. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Friday for a service and committal at 10.00 a.m.

Edith (nee Dunn), aged 78 years, beloved wife of Eric, a dearly loved mam of Anne and Catherine, a loving mother-in-law and a much loved gran to Clare, Laura and Becky. Wilf, aged 86 years, beloved husband of the late Ethel, a dearly loved dad of Robert, Derek and Neil, a dear father-in-law and a much loved grandad. Would friends please meet at Durham Crematorium Wednesday for a service and committal at 10.00 a.m.

TAYLOR - January 17 (peacefully in hospital), of Stainton Village, Barnard Castle. Elizabeth (Betty), aged 83 years, dearly loved wife of the late Norman, a very dear mam of the late Gordon and a much loved sister of Elsie. Betty will be sadly missed by Donna, Emma, Christine and all her family and friends. Will friends please meet for service in Barnard Castle Methodist Church on Friday, January 26 at 11.30 a.m., followed by interment. THOMPSON - Irene (Rene) OBE of Newsham died on Thursday, January 18, aged 88 years. Beloved wife of the late Douglas, adored mummy of Nimble, Judi, Fiona and Joy and wonderful grandmother and great-grandmother. She lived life to the full and gave so much to so many. Funeral service and an opportunity to celebrate her life at St. Michael and All Angels' Church, Barningham on Thursday January 25 at 11.30 a.m. No flowers please.
