Linda Diane Huckaby Kitt, 41, of Bristol Virginia, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998.
She was a native of Sarasota, Fla., and had lived in the Bristol area most of her life.
She was a graduate of Oak Hill Academy, Mouth of Wilson, Va., attended Virginia Highlands College, Southwest Community College and Virginia Intermont College and graduated from Weber State University. In Fort Myers, Fla., she attended Radiation Therapy Associates, Inc., and was employed as a radiology technician. Most currently, she was employed as a radiology technician with Quillen Dishner Veterans Affiars Medical Center.
Mrs. Kitt was a U.S. Air Force veteran, attended Three Springs Baptist Church and was the widow of Capt. Timothy Kitt.
Survivors include her mother, Louise Huckaby Anderson, Bristol Virginia, her father, Bobby Gene Huckaby, Knoxville; two sisters, Darlene Quillen and Mrs. Peanut (Debbie) Ingle, both of Bristol Virginia; her maternal grandmother, Trophine Roberts, Bristol Virginia; her paternal grandmother, Mildred Huckaby, Clinton, Tenn.; and several aunts, uncles, nephews and cousins.

HURLEY -- Nathan Burbug McGraw, 62, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, in Clinch Valley Medical Center, Richlands.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Buchanan County, a member of the Knox Creek Church of God and a disabled coal miner.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Truler B. Justus McGraw.
Survivors include four daughters, Wilma Wyatt, Maxine Looney and Arlene Matney, all of Hurley, and Carolyn Keen, Brenton, W.Va; two sons, Jason McGraw, Hurley, and Alfred Hurley Jr., Grundy; his mother, Mrs. Stella May Blankenship McGraw, Hurley; seven sisters, Mary Leonard, Dale City, Va., Laura McCowan, Huntington, Md., Frances Jolley and Rivon Miller, both of Hurley, Dolly Smith, Capital Heights, Md., Tennessee Critzer, Indian Head Highway, Md., and Veldil Lester, Big Rock; two brothers, Jeff McGraw, Sunderland, Md., and Billy McGraw, Hurley; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was the widow of Willie C. Minton Sr.

WILSON, N.C. -- Clarence E. Reynolds, 77, died Monday, Aug. 31, 1998, in the Veterans Administration Hospital, Durham, N.C.
He was a native of Abingdon, had lived in Abingdon until he moved to Wilson in 1987, and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include one sister, Monnie Poole, Abingdon; two brothers, Carl Reynolds and Toby Reynolds, both of Abingdon; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Charles M. Strouth
TAZEWELL COUNTY, Va. -- Charles M. "John" Strouth, 62, of the Steelsburg Community, died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, in a Richmond hospital.
He was a native of Tazewell County, and prior to residing in Steelsburg, he had lived in the Hidden Valley section of Richlands. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of 20 years serving in the Korean War and the Vietname War.
He was formerly employed by Island Creek Coal Company and retired from the City of Radford, Va., where he was a landfill supervisor. He was also employed with the Cumberland Mountain Industries, Wardell, Va.
Mr. Strouth was a member of Steelsburg United Methodist Church and attended the Covenant Presbyterian Church, Claypool Hill.
Survivors include his wife, Jacqueline "Jackie" Lester Strouth; one daughter, Mrs. Reuben (Dana) Pritchard, Steelsburg; two sons, David Strouth, Roanoke, and John Barry Strouth, Swords Creek; and one grandson.

CASTLEWOOD -- Jacob Jr. Townes Sr., 66, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 1998, in Russell County Medical Center, Lebanon.
He was a native of Buffalo, Va., and a retired coal miner.

CASTLEWOOD -- F.P. "Tuck" Bradley Jr., 70, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 1998, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Russell County and a retired employee of CSX Railroad after 38 years of service. He was a member of St. Paul Assembly of God Church, where he served as a deacon and a former trustee.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel Popp Bradley; one daughter, Sandra K. Banner, Bristol Virginia; one son, Tom L. Bradley, Castlewood; two stepdaughters, Vicky L. Lambert, Castlewood, and Karen J. Jessee, Gray, Tenn.; three stepsons, Joseph Popp, St. Paul, William E. Popp, Castlewood, and Larry M. JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Johnnie Lee Dickey, 45, died Friday, Sept. 4, 1998, in St. Vincent's Hospital, in Jacksonville.
He was a native of Oak Ridge, was self-employed and was a U.S. Armed Forces veteran.
Survivors include one brother, William Dickey Jr., Gate City; two aunts, Hattie Minor Lee Dickey and Mrs. Jack (Helen) Smith, both of Bristol Virginia; two nieces; one nephew; and one great-niece.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. -- Pauline Josephine Adams Dishman, 84, died Thursday, Sept. 3, 1998, in Riverside Community Hospital, Riverside, California.
She was a native of Bristol Tennessee, had lived most of her life in this area, moving to Riverside to live with her daughter for the past few years.
She retired from Paramount General Hospital and was a devout Christian with membership in the Woodlawn Baptist Church.
She was the widow of John S. Dishman.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Sue Mendoza, Riverside, and Dotty Marie Deines, Manhattan, Kan.; one son, Johnny Stewart Dishman, La Mirada, Calif.; ten grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was a native of Wise County, a retired miner, a member of UMWA and a U.S. Army veteran. He attended St. Paul Freewill Baptist Church, St. Paul, and Emmanuel Chapel Church, Castlewood.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Hamilton; four daughters, Mrs. Arlen "Sharon" Turner and Ms. Kathy Robertson, both of Castlewood; Mrs. Dan (Tina) Austin and Mrs. Will (Tammy) Wright, both of St. Paul; two sons, James Wayne Hamilton, Castlewood, and Randy Lee Hamilton, St. Paul; four sisters, Lillie Mae Hall, St. Paul, Belle Slaughter, Wise, Cora Hamm, Coeburn, and Faye Brooks, Dante; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
