SHORTT GAP, Va. -- Miss Lettie Sue Shelton, 55, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in a Richlands hospital.
She was a native of Tazewell County and a resident of the Shortt Gap section of Tazewell County her entire life.
Survivors include two brothers, Joseph C. Shelton, Richlands, and Ralph Shelton, Rosedale, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.

Blenda "B" Skare
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Blenda "B" Skare, 69, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998, in Swedish American Hospital, Rockford.
She was a native of Fruita, Colo., and a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Rockford.
She was a member and former president of Latham Park Garden Club, Rockford.
Survivors include her husband, Charles W. Skare; a son, Thomas Charles Skare, Bristol Tennessee; a daughter, Mrs. Gary (Diane) MacGregor; two grandsons, and two brothers, Henry and John Hoge.
Burial will be Tuesday in Rockford.

ROWE, Va. -- Mrs. Hazel Arwood Street, 70, died Sunday, Jan. 3, 1999, in a Richlands hospital.
She was a native of Buchanan County, a lifelong resident of Rowe, Va., and a member of the Rowe Free Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Junior "June" Street; seven daughters, Mrs. Ronald (Maudine) Vance, Mrs. Bill (Wilma) Meadows, Mrs. Randy (Donna) Meadows, Mrs. Andy (Fayrene) Meadows and Mrs. Danny (Carolyn) Street, all of Rowe, Darlis Shortridge, Honaker, and Mrs. Ronald (Judy) Maxfield, Rosedale; five sons, Harold Street and Kenneth "Kenny" Street, both of Rowe, Carl Street, Abingdon, Kester "Ket" Street, Honaker, and Darrell Street, Vansant; three sisters, Bea Miller, Helen Martin and Lois Cook, all of Rowe; three brothers, Lawrence Arwood, Honaker, the Rev. Arvil Arwood and Roy Arwood, both of Rowe; 17 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

BELFAST, Va. -- Mrs. Bonnie H. Tiller, 96, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, in a Lebanon hospital.
She was a native of Russell County and had resided in Buchanan County most of her life, before moving to Belfast eight years ago. She attended the Free Will Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Ira Tiller.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Ilene Deel, Abingdon; two sons, Ira Tiller Jr., Meadowview, and Zed Tiller, Belfast; 15 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Ila H. Turner, 98, of Bristol Virginia, died Monday, Jan. 4, 1999, in NHC Health Care of Bristol.
Survivors include a daughter, Annette T. Eads, Bristol Virginia; a son, Wade H. Turner, Albemarle, N.C.; two sisters; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

SALTVILLE//RICH VALLEY -- Mrs. Virgie Edna Cook, 83, died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 1999, in Johnston Memorial Hospital, Abingdon.
She was the widow of Hobert H. Cook and was a native of Smyth County.
She was a member of Presbyterian Church and also attended the Church of God, Ridgedale, Va.
Survivors include three sons, Charles W. "Bill" Cook and Hobert H. Cook Jr., both of Saltville, and Jimmy Lee Cook, Abingdon; two daughters, Peggy Jean Taylor, Abingdon, and Mary Gray Sanders, Saltville; a grandson; a granddaughter; and a great-granddaughter.

She was a native of Lone Fountain, Va., and attended Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va.
She was a school teacher for several years and a homemaker volunteering for a variety of charitable organizations. She was also an avid bridge player.
She had lived in Bristol since 1948.
She was the widow of J.W. Funkhouser.
Survivors include a daughter, Dian Doss, Bristol Tennessee; and a granddaughter, Sherri Dresser, Marietta, Ga.
