Mrs. Street, 77, of Hillman Drive, died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, in a Lebanon hospital.

Daphne R. Ward
SALTVILLE -- Daphne Rhea Ward, 56, died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2000, in Smyth County Community Hospital.
She was a resident of Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie and a daughter of Helen Kelly Ward of Saltville and the late Robert Edward Ward. She was a member of McCready Methodist Church.
Surviving, besides her mother, are two sisters, Joan Puckett of Southern Pines, N.C., and Grayson Macdonald of Charlotte, N.C.; two brothers, Robert Leslie Ward of Fincastle and Blaine Ward of Saltville; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted Saturday at 3 p.m. in Elizabeth Cemetery by D.R. Henderson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Robert Cook will officiate.
Ms. Ward was also preceded in death by a sister, Shelby Lorraine Burch.
Pallbearers will be Brandon Ward, Matt Ward, Alfred Ward Jr., Robert Macdonald, George Puckett and Ron Coe.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home before the graveside service.

Mr. Campbell, 61, of Bristol Tennessee, died Friday, Jan. 14, 2000.

Fannie S. Cantrell
POUND -- Fannie Sturgill Cantrell, 59, died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2000, in Wellmont Hospice House in Bristol, Tenn.
She was a daughter of the late Troy Sturgill and Alice Rutherford Sturgill and a member of Glady Fork Freewill Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William "Bill" Cantrell; two sons, Jeff Cantrell and Tim Cantrell, both of Pound; five sisters, Katie Maggard of Big Stone Gap, Joyce Taylor and Betty Maggard, both of Wise, and Annie Blizzard and Nancy Taylor, both of Pound; four brothers, Roger Sturgill, Ulis Sturgill, Kennith Sturgill and Clyde Sturgill, all of Pound; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Glady Fork Freewill Baptist Church by Baker Funeral Home.
The Revs. Troy Belcher and Danny Mullins will officiate.
Burial will be in Adams Cemetery in Eolia, Ky.
Mrs. Cantrell was also preceded in death by a sister, Julia Cantrell.
Among survivors are daughters-in-law Jeannie Cantrell and Donna Cantrell, both of Pound.
Pallbearers will be nephews.
The body will be taken to the church Monday at 4 p.m., where the family will receive friends and a service will be held at 7 p.m.

Jones Cole, 85, a former resident of 599 Bullock Hollow Road, Bristol, Tenn., died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2000, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.
She had been a resident of Cambridge House for the past several months.
She was a daughter of the late William and Vadia Blevins Peters, a lifelong resident of the Bristol area and a member of Central Holston Christian Church, where she was a nursery worker for 30 years.
She attended Faith Lutheran Senior Citizens and was the widow of L.T.
Jones and Raynor Cole.
Surviving are a son, W.L.
Jones of Bristol Tennessee; four sisters, Annie Haga, Josephine Carrier and Louise Phillips, all of Bristol Tennessee, and Rose McCroskey of Abingdon; a brother, Earl Peters of Bristol Tennessee; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Central Holston Christian Church by Weaver Funeral Home.
Ministers Eugene Brockley and Paul Favor will officiate. Burial will be in Weaver Cemetery.
