Mr. Cunningham of Bristol Virginia died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in Bristol Regional Medical Center.

KINGSPORT -- Funeral services for Bobby Neil Davidson will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in East Lawn Funeral Home. Entombment will be in East Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Mr. Davidson, 64, of 1804 Hermitage Drive, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in Holston Valley Hospital and Medical Center.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday in East Lawn Funeral Home.
Moses M. DeBord Sr.
SALTVILLE -- Funeral services for Moses M. DeBord Sr. will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in D.R. Henderson Funeral Home. Vernon Olinger will officiate. Burial will be in Elizabeth Cemetery.
Mr. DeBord, 60, formerly of Laurel, Del., died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, at his home.
He was a son of the late James and Louise DeBord.
Surviving are his wife, Paige Slate DeBord; two sons, Moses DeBord Jr. of Laurel, Del., and Mark DeBord of Delmar, Del; two daughters, Terry Tamosaitis-Rodenbaugh of Laurel and Jennifer Adkins of Delmar; two brothers, Bonner DeBord of Oak Hall, W.Va., and Herschel DeBord of Bristol Virginia; a sister, Evelyn Kelly of Bristol Virginia; 17 grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.
Mr. DeBord was also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carl Slate; and a son-in-law, Paul Laren Tamosaitis.
Among survivors are daughters-in-law Julie DeBord of Laurel and Brenda DeBord of Delmar; sons-in-law John Rodenbaugh Sr. of Laurel and Phillip Adkins of Delmar; grandchildren Moses M. DeBord III, Michael DeBord, Jessica DeBord, Amber Tamosaitis, Cara Tamosaitis, Valerie Rodenbaugh, John Rodenbaugh Jr., Ashleigh DeBord, Vanessa DeBord, Norman Adkins, Bobbie Sue Adkins, Brandon Adkins, Brandy Adkins, Lil' Phil Adkins, Amanda Adkins, Jason Adkins and Katrina Bodford; sisters-in-law Linda DeBord of Oak Hall and Christine DeBord of Bristol Virginia; brother-in-law George Kelly of Bristol Virginia; his mother-in-law Beulah Slate; and brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Joy and Bud Brooks, Jim and Liz Slate, Beth Slate and Bobby and Claudine Davidson.

Arnold B. Edwards Sr.
RURAL RETREAT, Va. -- Arnold Burns Edwards Sr., 78, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Wythe County Community Hospital.
He was born in Dickenson County, a son of the late Jona and Virgie Owens Edwards. He was a U.S. Army veteran and part owner and proprietor of Edwards Radio, TV Sales and Service in Rural Retreat for almost 40 years. He was the widower of June Miller Edwards and Betty Lou Crider Edwards.
Surviving are a daughter, Treasa Kay Mills of Wytheville; two sons, Tim Edwards and Arnold B. Edwards Jr., both of Rural Retreat; a sister, Flora E. Owens of Rural Retreat; two brothers, Leamon Edwards of Rural Retreat and Claude Edwards of Dublin, Va.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in Sharon Baptist Church by Lindsey Funeral Home. The Rev. Michael Hoyle and pastor Edward Schaack will officiate. The body will be taken to the church an hour before services. Burial will be in the church cemetery with military rites by Marion VFW Post 4667.
Among survivors are grandchildren Joshua James Blizzard and Amelia Ann Blizzard; and great-grandchild Lance Gregory Blizzard.

Marvin W. Elswick Jr.
MANASSAS, Va. -- Marvin Winston Elswick Jr., 61, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in Prince William Hospital in Manassas.
He was a son of Bessie "Susie" Elswick of Lebanon and the late Marvin Winston "Red" Elswick Sr.
Surviving, besides his mother, are his wife, Marralee Elswick; a daughter, Donna M. Sanchez of Manassas; two sons, David C. Elswick and Curtis "Ramey" Elswick, both of the home; three sisters, Lexie Kegley and Patsy Nash Jones, both of Lebanon, and Elizabeth Stoots of Raleigh, N.C.; two brothers, Lloyd Elswick of Cleveland and Jack Elswick of Stafford; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11 a.m. in Prince Funeral Home. Jon Ulm, minister, and pastor Lonnie Salyers will officiate. Burial will be in Stonewall Memory Gardens in Manassas.

HONAKER -- Jimmie Allen Ferguson, 53, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in a Bristol Tennessee health care center.

Ruth Ellen Green
Ruth Ellen Green, 82, of Grand Court, Bristol, Va., died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, in Bristol Nursing Home.
She was born in Johnstown, Pa., a daughter of the late Alfred C. and Stella McLaughlin Klingelhofer. Shew had lived in Bristol since 1959. She was a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army Nursing Corps with Johns Hopkins University and served in Australia, New Guinea and the Philippines during World War II. She was a recipient of four Battle Stars and the Philippine Liberation Medal.
She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and a past president of the St. Anne's School PTA. She was a member and past president of Bristol Heart Association and an instructor at East Tennessee State University School of Nursing in the associates degree program.
Surviving are her husband, Dr. Waver
Green Jr.; a daughter, Dorothy G. Beggar of Crete Coeur, Mo.; a sister, Ann Klingelhofer of Bristol Tennessee; a brother, Robert Klingelhofer of Seattle; and two grandchildren.
A Mass of the resurrection will be celebrated Wednesday at 8 p.m. in St. Anne's Catholic Church. The Rev. Thomas Ianucci will be the celebrant. Burial will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in Mountain View Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

HAYSI -- Emory Hamon, 93, of Route 1 died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000, at his home.
He was born in Dickenson County, a son of the late William and Arlene Moore Hamon. He was a charter member and former deacon of Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church. He was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA Local 7170. He was the widower of Mary Ringley Hamon.
Surviving are four daughters, Leona Mullins of Council, Vergie Wright of Haysi, Janice Artrip of Clintwood and June Hill of Radford; two half-sisters, Goldie Jobe of Maringo, Ohio, and Elsie Underwood of Bristol Virginia; 17 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 1 p.m. in Haysi Funeral Home. The Revs. L. Myers Mullins, Danny Sluss and Finas Hill will officiate. Burial will be in the Family Cemetery, Route 1, Haysi.
Mr. Hamon was also preceded in death by a daughter, Ruth Darman; three brothers; and a sister.
Pallbearers will be grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be deacons of Splashdam Freewill Baptist Church.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home, where a service will be held at 7 p.m.

ROSEDALE, Va. -- Funeral services for Mark Duane Honaker will be conducted Wednesday at 11 a.m. in Honaker Funeral Home Chapel. The Revs. Mike Dye and Roy Lee Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Ketron Memorial Gardens in Lebanon.
Mr. Honaker, 34, died Saturday, Jan. 29, 2000, in a Lebanon hospital.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- John Taylor Keister Jr., 91, died Sunday, Jan. 30, 2000, in Claiborne Hughes Heath Center in Franklin.
He was born in Washington, D.C. He received a bachelor of arts degree from Gettysburg College in 1931, a bachelor of divinity from Gettysburg Seminary in 1934 and attended Oberlin Graduate School of Theology 1937-38. He was mission developer in Maryland, Ohio, organizer-pastor of Holy Trinity Lutheran in Nashville 1945-73, served Faith Lutheran and Christ Lutheran in Bristol Tennessee 1973-86 and Sinking Springs Lutheran Church in Greene County, Tenn.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tullahoma, Tenn., a member and corresponding secretary of Lions International, a recipient of Melvin
Jones Award and a life-time blood donor of the American Red Cross. He was the widower of Margaret Beall Evans Keister.
Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth K. Short of Franklin, Mrs. H. Lee (Ann K.) Brumback of Littlestown, Pa., and Mrs. John G. (Emilie K.) Finney of Brooksville, Fla.; a son, John T. Keister III of Ontario, Canada; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Memorial services will be held Sunday in Tullahoma.

GREENVILLE, S.C. -- Carl White Leslie, 86, of 37 Racine Court, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2000.
He was born in Bristol Tennessee, a son of the late Randolph and Melinda Leslie. He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, where he received a law degree. He was in the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence as a sergeant major. He was a retired attorney and insurance adjuster for James C.
Green Insurance Adjusters. He was a member of the American Legion and Downtown Baptist Church, where he was a deacon.
Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Walker Leslie; a stepdaughter, Roxie Brennon of Easley; a stepson, James W. Davis of Simpsonville; four nieces; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. in The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive. The Rev. Joe Dempsey will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday in The Mackey Mortuary.
