DeCAMBRA
James F. DeCambra, age 58, of Warfield, Va., died November 28, 1998. He is survived by his wife, Edna Maitland DeCambra. Funeral services will be conducted 3 p.m. Monday at the Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville. Interment in Ebenezer Community Church Cemetery, Warfield.

GORDON
Fredrick Delmont Gordon of Richmond, died Saturday, November 28, 1998. He is survived by three sons, Fred Jr., Douglas and William H. Gordon; several nieces and nephews; and many other friends. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. A graveside service will be held 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Quantico National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 7124 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, Va. 23225.

HENSON
Blanche Dickinson Henson, 80, of Buena Vista, died Sunday, November 29, 1998 in the Oak Hill Health Care Center, Staunton, Va. She was born April 25, 1918 in Buena Vista, daughter of the late, John Harvey and Mary Jordan Dickinson. She was a member of the St. John's United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey Henson. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly H. Bailey of Richmond; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Diane Henson of Pawleys Island, S.C.; three grandchildren, Cameron, Christopher and Alex Bailey, all of Richmond; brother, Tom Dickinson Sr. of Buena Vista. The funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 1998 at the St. John's United Methodist Church with the Rev. Edward Johnson and Rev. Ben Burks officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Lomax Funeral Home, Buena Vista. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.

HUNT
Mrs. Gladys Kirby Hunt, 70, of Richmond, passed away November 27, 1998. She was the widow of Robert J. Hunt and is survived by her son, Robert W. Hunt and his wife, Deborah; four sisters, Ellen Purcell, Doris Bergener, Doris (Bill) Brindle, and Callie Drewey; two grandchildren, Jessica K. and Joseph C. Hunt. Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Monday at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Lakeside Vol. Rescue Squad. Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel is handling arrangements.

JENKINS
Margaret Dansey Jenkins, 80, of Midlothian, died Sunday, November 29, 1998. She was the widow of Berkley Jenkins Sr. Survivors include a son, Berkley Jenkins Jr. and his wife, Linda of Clearwater, Fla.; a daughter, Barbara Lowery and her husband, Fred of Midlothian; and five granddaughters, Holly Jenkins of Harrisonburg, Va., Mandy Hrobak of Charlotte, N.C., Heather Jenkins of Clearwater, Fla. and Lisa Lowery and April Lowery, both of Midlothian; and two great-grandchildren, Jamie and Jacob Hrobak of Charlotte, N.C. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd. where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

JOHNSON
Mrs. Hazel V. Johnson of 3023 Moss Side Ave. died November 26, 1998. Surviving are her husband, Roosevelt S. Johnson; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Nelson and Mrs. Nannie McEachin; two nieces; two nephews; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. After 11 a.m. Tuesday, remains will rest in Triumphant Baptist Church, Lamb Ave. at Poe St., where funeral services will be held at 12 Noon. Dr. Arthur Jones officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

LAYNE
Genevieve Anderson Layne, 85, widow of William Ray Layne, of Richmond, went to be with our Lord and Savior November 29, 1998. She is survived by four sons, Robert (Bob), Bradley, David and Richard (Dick) Anderson; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Layne was a retired music teacher, church organist and choral director. Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and where services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 2. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family re quests memorials to the Stukeley Hall Baptist Church, 601 Azalea Ave., Richmond, Va. 23227 or Chamberlayne Heights United Methodist Church, 6100 Chamberlayne Rd., Richmond, Va. 23227.

MEADE
Naomi Lowery Meade, 85, died November 29, 1998. She was a member of Main Street Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Joanne Joyner of Quinton, Va., and Linda Potter of Chesterfield; a son, Robert C. Lowery of Richmond; five grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Main Street Baptist Church, Emporia, with burial in the Emporia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the Echols Funeral Home, Emporia.

MICHAEL
Madeline Jones Michael, 62, of Ashland, Va., departed this life November 28, 1998. She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald G. (Pete) Michael; her son, Donald E. (Donnie) Michael; two daughters, Karen Denise Puryear and her husband, James M. Puryear Jr., Nathalie Michelle Pena and her husband, Gilberto (Gil) Pena; three grandsons, Gabriel (Gabe) Pena, Logan Matthew and Ryan Michael Puryear; one granddaughter, Madison Lee Puryear. Remains rest at the Reid Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday with interment in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Slash Christian Church Student Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Michael was a retired employee of Hanover County with twenty-three years of service and a member of Slash Christian Church Disciples of Christ.

NEALE
Lucille Staples Neale, 89, of Midlothian, widow of William E. Neale, died November 29, 1998. She is survived by her son, Dr. Robert K. Neale of Midlothian; daughter, Betsy N. Goolsby of Navarre, Fla.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 1, at 1 p.m. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Westminster Presbyterian Church in Richmond.

RITCHIE
Mrs. Eileen P. Ritchie, an accountant with the Federal Government, departed this life November 29, 1998. The staff of the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home is serving her family.

ROBERTS
Allen Grey "Wimpy" Roberts, 61, of Mechanicsville, died Friday, November 27, 1998. He was a Newport News resident most of his life and had retired as a Chief Clerk for the C&O Railway Company after 35 years of service. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by his wife, Beverley; and is survived by two daughters, Karen R. Smith and her husband, Ray of South Boston; and Kerri R. Pagans and her husband, James of Roanoke; a son, Kevin Neal Roberts of Macon, Ga.; his mother, Mary Elizabeth Roberts of Newport News; a sister, Jean R. Terry of Yorktown; a brother, Kenneth W. Roberts of Centerville; and five grandchildren, Travis and Melissa Smith, Zachary and Matthew Pagans and Taylor Roberts. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday evening in Peninsula Funeral Home. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Tuesday in Signal Hill Memorial Park, Hanover, Va. by Rev. Clarence Hilling.

Stuart W. Robinson Sr. of 3311 Edgewood Ave., died November 29, 1998. Remains rest at the Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral notice later.

Departed this life November 26, 1998, Mrs. Mary E. Rogers of 2400 Burton St., formerly of 718 Chimborazo Blvd. She is survived by a very dear friend, Mrs. Elizabeth White; a host of cousins, among them two devoted, Mrs. Sylvia Robinson and Mrs. Uneita Crenshaw; six sisters-in- law; two brothers-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, among them two devoted friends, Mrs. Evelyn Cox and Mrs. Panthera Hendrick. Reposing at the Scott- Lightfoot Funeral Home, 3021 "N" St. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 12 Noon at the Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 4401 Hobbs Lane. Rev. Ronald C. Taylor Sr. officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery. Mrs. Rogers was a member of the Reader Club of the above named church.

Departed this life Saturday, November 28, 1998, Mrs. Pearl E. Rountree of Richmond. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral notice later.

STALLINGS
Irene Richardson Stallings, of Mechanicsville, widow of James Harold Stallings, died Sunday, November 29, 1998. She is survived by four children, James Thomas Stallings, Susan Stallings McLane, Harold Edward Stallings and Linda Stallings Wallace; two sisters, Eunice Bowers and Emma Estelle Hartless; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Stallings was a member of Northside Baptist Church. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd. Funeral notice later. Ann Johnson Stewart, 81, of Brandon Ladd Circle, died Friday, November 27, 1998 at Augusta Medical Center. She was born November 27, 1917, the daughter of the late James E. and Mary Epps Johnson in Halifax, Va. Survivors include two daughters, Virginia Stewart Lett and Rebecca Stewart Pass, both of High Point, N.C.; a son, Dewain Clement Stewart Jr. of Waynesboro; one sister, Elizabeth Johnson Elmore of Richmond; three granddaughters, Kimberly Lett Flynn of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Deborah Lett Fetner of High Point, N.C., and Leslie Ann Wood of Virginia Beach, Va.; two grandsons, Michael Douglas Wood of Los Angeles, Calif., and Keith Woodson Stewart of Richmond; seven great-grandchildren, Taylor Freemon Flynn of Ft. Lauderdale, Caroline Stewart Flynn of Ft. Lauderdale, Clayton Hunter Stewart of Richmond, Kaytlyn Brooke Stewart of Richmond, Lawrence Jackson Fetner IV of High Point, Kodie Dewain Stewart of Richmond, and Robert Clay Fetner of High Point. A service will be conducted 10:30 a.m. Monday at Tinkling Springs Presbyterian Church by Dr. Fred A. Holbrook. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. at Maury Cemetery in Richmond, Va. Arrangements are being handled by Reynolds Funeral Service of Waynesboro. She was greatly loved and will be forever re membered by her family and friends.

TINSLEY
Samuel Lawson Tinsley, of Glen Allen, passed away November 29, 1998. He is survived by three children, Mrs. Thomas Hawkes (Theresa Ann) of Sandston, Mr. Raymond I. Tinsley of Wilson, N.C. and Mrs. Thomas R. Justis Jr. (Clara) of Powhatan; two brothers, Mr. G. Irving Tinsley of Elmont and Mr. Bernard D. Tinsley of Richmond; three sisters, Mrs. Mattie B. Corddry of Berlin, Md., Mrs. Pearle T. Burns (Jimmie) of Glen Allen and Mrs. Marcia Hendrick (Mickie) of Glen Allen; one grandchild, Mrs. Roger Clarke (Scarlett Ann) of Goochland; and a number of nieces and nephews. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. Funeral notice later. Mr. Robert E. Turnage Sr., "Steve", of Richmond, departed this life November 26, 1998. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Robert Jr. and Barbara W. Turnage; grandchildren, Sean, Taura, and Tonya Turnage; father, James Turnage; sister, Elizabeth Moses, both of Maryland; brother, St. Claire Turnage of New York; aunts, Estelle Hunter and Beatrice Turnage, both of North Carolina; sister-in-law, Gloria Turnage; brother-in-law, Denies Mosby; adopted daughter, Allison Turnage of Va.; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins; other relatives and friends. Gordon W. Wells, died November 28, 1998. survived by his wife, Doris P. Wells; a daughter, Mary W. Gentry; and a son, Gordon W. Wells Jr., all of South Hill; two sisters, Marion Watkins of Palmer Springs and Florence Crowder of Colonial Heights; two brothers, Matthew "Matt" Wells of South Hill, and Edward Wells of Colonial Heights; and three grandsons, Chris Wells, Brandon Vaughan and Dustin Gentry. Services Tuesday, 11 a.m. in Crowder-Hite-Crews Funeral Home. Interment Crestview Memorial Park. Visitation Monday, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Ruby Pavy Wiggins, 94, of Richmond, passed away, Saturday, November 28, 1998. Mrs. Wiggins, a member of First Baptist Church, was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett I. Wiggins; and her beloved sister, Bessie P. Satterwhite. She is survived by her niece, Frances S. Graham; and nephew, George W. Satterwhite; eleven great-nieces and nephews. Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave. where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, November 30 in Riverview Cemetery.
