She is survived by daughters, Anna Reid, Virginia Hayes and Mary Jones, all of New York City, N.Y.; sons, Franklin and William of Amelia, Wilbert of Cincinnati, Ohio and Richard of Chesterfield; 17 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, 5 daughters-in-law; two sisters-in-law, other relatives and friends. Funeral services with burial Saturday, February 8, 2 p.m. Bethia Baptist Church, Amelia, Dr. Walter Patrick, Pastor. Services entrusted to V.Y. Scott Funeral Home, Amelia, Rev. Paul M. Wilson, Director.

STONE
Died February 5, 1997, Minnie Patterson Stone, 83 of Ashland, widow of William Aubrey Stone. She is survived by her son, Aubrey W. Stone and wife, Ann; grandson, Wesley Stone and wife, Karen; granddaughter, Susan Campbell and husband, Mark; three great-grandchildren, Drew and Sarah Campbell and John Aubrey Stone; sister, Pearl Gibson; and son, George Gallimore. The family will receive friends Friday 7 to 9 p.m. in the Reid Funeral Home, 412 S. Washington Hwy., Ashland. Funeral services Saturday 11 a.m. Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church, Ashland. Interment church cemetery.

STRASH
Adam Michael Strash, died February 5, 1997. He is survived by his parents, Alfred M. Strash and Linda L. Neely; two sisters, Jennifer and Rebecca Strash; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Strash; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Anthony J. Bleichner; and several other relatives. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd. where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. Funeral notice later.

STRINGFIELD
Departed this life Sunday, February 2, 1997, Mrs. Constance E. Stringfield of 5601 Germain Rd. She is survived by her children, David and John Stringfield, Barbara Williams and Vivian Richardson; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Vivian Marshall and Mildred White; one daughter-in-law; two sisters-in-law; three brothers-in- law; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and many Christian friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. After 2 p.m. Saturday, remains will rest in the Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, 16 W. Clay St., where the family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at which time funeral services will begin. Rev. W. I. Hatch, Pastor officiating. Interment will be on Sunday, February 9, in Wakefield, Va. Relatives and friends attending funeral services, assemble at the church Saturday, 3:30 p.m.

TAYLOR
Carl L. Taylor, owner and president of Tank Trailer Inc., died February 6, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Frances Fulp Taylor and her family and their extended family, Tim and Linda Ford. Mr. Taylor had been active in the tank truck industry for 40 years. He was a member of the National Tank Truck Carriers Association, National Trailer Dealers Association and the Liquid Waste Haulers Association. He was on the Board of Directors of the Virginia Trucking Association, serving as treasurer and also the American Trucking Association. Mr. Taylor was a member of the Manchester Lodge No. 14 AF & AM, Scottish Rite Bodies and the Acca Temple Shrine. He was a member of the Million Dollar Band and the Manchester Shrine Club. He was also a charter member of Willow Oaks Country Club. He attended John Marshall High School and played in the band. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. and where Masonic Memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. and funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park. Mr. Taylor was a supporter of the Shriners Hospital for Children and the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center. Contributions will be appreciated in his memory c/o Acca Temple at 1712 Bellevue Ave.

TERRELL
Departed this life February 2, 1997, Mrs. Addie Bernice Terrell of Ruther Glen. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Lucille Gethers; son, Garland Terrell Jr.; devoted son-in-law, Mr. James Gethers; daughter-in-law, Mrs. Roberta Terrell; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Mrs. Edith Baylor, Addie and Adell Terrell, all of Ruther Glen; brother-in-law, Mr. Cecil Terrell; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, Washington Highway (US 1 North), Ashland. Funeral service 1 p.m. Saturday at Oxford Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ruther Glen, Rev. C.C. Lee officiating. Interment Church Cemetery. Remains will lie in state at the church from 12 noon until hour of service. Family and friends assemble at the church 12:35 p.m. Saturday. McCarthy Director.

WEST
Departed this life February 5, 1997, Mr. Matthew West Jr. of Richmond. He is survived by his son, Toney Massenberg; two grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Laverne Webster and Mrs. Luella Copeland; four nieces, one devoted, Burnetta Harris; four nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends, among them, two devoted friends, Carolyn Massenberg and Joseph (Pop) Cosby. Reposing at the Scott-Lightfoot Funeral Home, 3021 N St., where funeral services will be held Saturday 12 noon. Rev. Richard Tucker officiating. Interment Monday 1:30 p.m. Quantico National Cemetery.

Departed this life February 5, 1997, Mrs. Bettye J. Williams of 1714 Southampton Ave. She is survived by her husband, Spencer L. Williams Sr.; one daughter, Tracey Cousins; four sons, Spencer L. Jr., John A. and Joseph L. Williams and Milton L. Grant; 17 grandchildren; three great- grandchildren; one sister, Sallie Byrd; two brothers, Phillip Jr. and Albert Williams; one aunt, Laura Lewis; one uncle, Howard Lewis; several nieces; nephews; and cousins; three daughters-in-law, Daisy and DeSylvia Williams and Amy Grant; one son-in-law, Ellis Cousins; three sisters-in-law, Louise Jackson, Ethel M. Hopson and Ann Williams; and other relatives and friends, among them, Martha Grandson and Mary Roberts. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday. Funeral Saturday 11 a.m. at 1st Baptist Church, 25720 Greenville Ave., W. Petersburg, Va. Rev. Peter Jeffries (Pastor) officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond, Va. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 9:45 a.m. Saturday.

YEATTS
Elinor Moore Yeatts, 76, of Richmond, died Wednesday, February 5, 1997. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Archer L. Yeatts Jr.; her son, Judge Archer L. Yeatts III; and her daughter, Kathryn (Kitty) Y. Davis, both of Richmond; grandchildren, Carole Y. Tyler and Laura E. Yeatts, both of Richmond and Philip S. Davis of Charlotte, N.C.; two sisters, Mary Emma Bridges of Danville and Jessie Rada Easley of Chatham. Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, February 7 at Grace Baptist Church, Dover Rd. and Eton Place. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund of Grace Baptist Church, the Endowment Fund of the Masonic Home or the Scottish Rite Childhood Language Center.

Departed this life May 9, 1997, John Oscar Ball of Westmoreland County. He is survived by two sons, John Richard Ball of Richmond and William Walker Ball of Callao; other relatives and friends, among them, Pandit Mark Constantine Spick. Patrick Frank Bednarz, age 26, died in a bicycle accident Tuesday, May 13, 1997. He is survived by his parents, Tom and Mary Bednarz; a sister, Kate Bednarz; maternal grandmother, Marie Louise Kealy of Mary land; paternal grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Chet Williams of California. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Friday. A funeral Mass will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1415 Perry St. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Benedictine High School or the Sacred Heart Catholic Church Centennial Fund.

Miss Doris Carr of 3502 Chamberlayne Ave. departed this life May 15, 1997. She is survived by her many friends. Pearl Adell Catlett of 13190 Woodside Lane, Ashland, entered eternal rest May 13, 1997. She is survived by her devoted husband, James Catlett Sr.; one daughter, Paulette Spencer; two sons, Don and James Catlett Jr.; one son-in-law, Horace Spencer; two granddaughters, Catina and Lateisha Spencer; one great-grandchild, Veronica Spencer; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the F.E. Dabney Funeral Home, Henry St., Ashland. Funeral Saturday 1 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church. Rev. Dr. Levy Armwood, pastor officiating. Interment church cemetery. Departed this life Sunday, May 11, 1997, Mr. George W. Cole of Richmond. He is survived by his wife, Edith Cole; four children, George and Dallas Cole, Joyce Johnson and Antionette Alston; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters; three brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17, 1 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3509 Midlothian Pike, Rev. J.I. COLEMAN
Mrs. Bonnie B. Coleman, age 87, died at her residence near Green Bay, Va., on Wednesday, May 14, 1997. She was the widow of Roy S. Coleman and was a retired school teacher. She is survived by one son, Roy Samuel Coleman and his wife, Mary B. Coleman; two grandchildren, Stephanie and Chip. Graveside service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in Liberty Christian Church Cemetery, Green Bay. Memorial contributions may be made to Osteoporosis Foundation. Family will receive friends 11:30 a.m. until the hour of funeral at her residence. Shorter Funeral Home, Farmville, in charge of arrangements.

COVINGTON
Mrs. Mary D. Covington, 92, of Millers Tavern, Va., died May 13, 1997. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Remains rest at the B.W. White Funeral Home, Aylett, where family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday; and where service will be 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Smyrna Christian Church Cemetery.

EGGLESTON
Vikki Glasscock Eggleston, 43, died at Chippenham Hospital, Wednesday, May 14, 1997. Mrs. Eggleston was the daughter of Benjamin and Lois Glasscock. She was born in Granville County and was a graduate of Bluestone High School. She worked at Chippenham Hospital as a secretary until health reasons forced her to leave in 1990 and was a member of Boydton United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Barry Throckmorton officiating. Entombment will follow at Oakhurst Cemetery, Eternity Mausoleum. Survivors are her husband, Randy Eggleston; parents, Lois and Benjamin Glasscock; brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Diane Glasscock and children. Family will receive friends Friday, May 16 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

FULGHUM
Arthur T. (Tom) Fulghum III, 54, of Chester, died Wednesday, May 14, 1997. He is survived by his wife, Jean S. Fulghum; his son, Richard G. Fulghum; his father, Arthur T. Fulghum Jr.; his brother, Richard M. Fulghum; his sister, Juanita A. Fulghum. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where services will be held 11 a.m. Monday. Interment Sunset Memorial Park. On Wednesday, May 14, 1997. Joshua K. Goodman, of Rockville, Md., beloved son of Susan (Allan) Goodman; loving brother of Perri Rebecca Goodman; beloved grandson of Adele and Henry Shapiro and Virginia and Leonard Goodman; nephew of Kenny and Evalyn Cohn, Sydnor Shapiro, Lloyd Goodman, Sandy and Kathy Goodman, Sandy and Jane Shapiro; and cousins, Robert, Rachel, Joel, Jill and Madie. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 10:30 a.m. at B'nai Israel Congregation, Rockville, Md. Interment 1:30 p.m., Beth El Cemetery, Richmond, Va.
