Died May 14, 1997, Linda Brown Wagoner of Richmond. She is survived by her husband, Charles M. Wagoner; her daughter, Angela Dawn Wagoner and her grandchild, Amber Jewel Strickland. Services will be held at the Alexander-Church -Kennedy Funeral Home, Elkin, N.C.

WHITE
Rosetta White, of Richmond, died May 14, 1997. She is survived by her daughters, Peggy and Thelma White; three grandchildren, Donald, John, and Kanisha; one sister, Alberta White; two brothers, Earnest and Raymond White; a number of nieces and nephews; two sisters-in-law, Willie Mae and Tina White; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 2 p.m. in Oakwood Cemetery. Rev. Otis Mallory officiating.

WILLS
Taylor Berry Wills, 81, of Petersburg, died May 14, 1997. He was born in Petersburg, was a son of the late Wirt Henry and Rose Lansford Wills and the widower of Miriam Biggin Wills. Mr. Wills was a Naval Pilot during World War II, a communicant of Christ & Grace Episcopal Church, and retired from Allimac Stamping Company. Surviving are his wife, Blanche Wills of Petersburg; two daughters, Elizabeth McGowan of Dahlgren, Va. and Kathleen Pirone of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren; three brothers, Wirt H. Wills of Blacksburg, Willis H. Wills of Alexandria and Samuel G. Wills of Florida. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 17, at the graveside in Blandford Cemetery by Rev. David Teschner, Rector of Christ & Grace Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, c/o Joy Bolte, 18212 Pine Oak Lane, Dinwiddie, Va. 23841. Funeral arrangements by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Homes.

ADKINS
Master Kwontre L. Adkins departed this life June 10, 1997. He is survived by his parents, Shaletta (Tesie) Haley and Terence (Biggy) Adkins; four sisters, Tamikia, Shavonna, Derricka and Tasha; two brothers, Darius and Terrell; grandparents, Larry and Valerie Owens, Jimmie Young and Eloise Adkins; great-grandmother, Elizabeth Adkins; a devoted aunt, Ronette Mosley; three uncles, Chris and Kerry Adkins, one devoted, Melvin Mosley; godparents, Wilbert and Tasa Richardson, Pamela Davis; godsister, Latorya Mann; and a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Carlton T. Brooks Funeral Home, 2200 Hull St. Funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at Crusade for Christ Christian Church Ministries (CCCCM), 2337 Clearfield St., Bishop John L. Harris officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends attending services please assemble at the church 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

ANDERSON
Ruben Leroy Anderson departed this life June 11, 1997. The staff of the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home is serving his family.

BAYNARD
Eugenia Nixon Baynard died June 11, 1997 in Greensville Memorial Hospital. She is survived by two sons, Robert J. Taylor and Darryl R. Taylor, both of Emporia; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Zion Baptist Church, Skippers, Va., Saturday, June 14 at 11 a.m. Family will receive friends in the church fellow- ship hall following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Greensville Rescue Squad.

BRITTON
James R. Britton, 66, died Tuesday, June 10, 1997. He is survived by his son, James R. Britton Jr.; daughter, Judy Reid; sister, Jean Emerson; and grandson, Jesse Reid. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's, Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St., where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

BYNDUM
Departed this life June 12, 1997, Mrs. Mary L. Byndum of Richmond. Reposing at the Scott-Lightfoot Funeral Home, 3021 N St. Services to be announced.

CARTER
Warner Carter Jr., of Richmond, died June 11, 1997. Arrangements by Scotts Funeral Home, 115 East Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral notice later.

CHECK
Tracey Spruill Check, age 23, lifelong resident of Poquoson, died Wednesday, June 11, 1997. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harry and Sylvia Spruill. Survivors include her husband, Robert Check; parents, Michael and Debra Spruill; her brother, Michael Spruill Jr.; all of Poquoson; grandparents, Mary and Bob Warren of Hampton, Charles Potter Sr. of Nashville, Tenn. Funeral 2 p.m. Monday, June 16, at Trinity United Methodist Church by Rev. W. Michael Nobles Sr. Burial in Parklawn Memorial Park, Hampton. Visitation 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Claytor Rollins Funeral Home and, other times, at the home of Tracey's parents, 102 Darden Drive. Memorials may be made to Tracey Spruill Check Memorial Scholarship Fund, Poquoson High School, 51 Odd Road, Poquoson, Va. 23662.

COKER
Katherine Bridgers Forbes Coker, 84, died Wednesday in Richmond, Va. Funeral Services Saturday 2 p.m. at the Macclesfield Presbyterian Church with the Revs. Peggy and Bill Owens and Elder Kenneth Windham officiating. Burial will follow in the Macclesfield Cemetery. survived by a daughter, Jane Forbes Rose, Mechanicsville, Va.; sister, Lucille B. Lamb, Macclesfield; grandchildren, Michael Rose and Cathryn Rose. The family will be receiving friends at Carlisle Funeral Home, Tarboro, N.C., Friday from 7 to 9 p.m.

CROWE
Frances Eames Crowe, age 76, of Mechanicsville. Widow of John N. Crowe and the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. M. Hunter Eames of Providence Forge, died June 12, 1997. survived by a son, John H. Crowe of Mechanicsville and daughter Martha C. Jones; son-in-law, Scott W. Jones of Richmond; sister, Mary Eames Miller of Mechanicsville; two grandchildren, Caleb H. Jones and Sarah Natalie Jones. Mrs. Crowe was a member of Holy Ridge Christian Church and a graduate of William & Mary. Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 E. Laburnum Avenue and where services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment Signal Hill Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or to the East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad.

DODSON
Christine Dodson passed away June 9, 1997. She was the mother of Colleen Harlow, Collier and Catherine Dodson. Family receiving friends 3 p.m., memorial service 4 p.m. June 14, 1997 at Jahnke Road Baptist Church.

EAHEART
Mrs. Patricia B. Eaheart, of Rockville, died Thursday, June 12, 1997. She is survived by her husband, Robert H. Eaheart Sr.; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert H. Jr. and Teresa Eaheart, and Richard L. Eaheart; five grandchildren, Chris, Erin, Rachel, Jason, Leah; two brothers, Dennis B. and Gerald A. Burgess. Graveside services will be conducted at 1 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2800 Parham Road, Richmond, Va. 23229. West Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home handling arrangements.

EGGLESTON
Vashti Fanney Eggleston, 84, of Richmond, died June 11, 1997. Mrs. Eggleston was a former Production Coordinator with the Eskay Meat Packing Company. She is survived by a daughter, Violet Arnold of Hanover, Pa.; a son, Edward A. Eggleston of Chester, Va.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on June 14, 1997, at the Chesterfield Chapel, J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 3050 W. Hundred Road. Interment in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond. The family will receive friends at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

GATES
Elisabeth S. Gates, 88, of Richmond, died June 11, 1997. She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis F. Gates and her daughter, Helen G. Smith. Survivors include a brother, Charles Sones Jr.; sister, Ruth Gann Sones and two grandchildren. She retired from Dupont where she worked in Industrial Engineering and died a life member of the James River Womens Club. For over 60 years she was a member of Stockton Memorial Baptist Church, where she served as teacher, deaconess and organist. A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Stockton Memorial Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 42025, Richmond, Va. 23224.

GENTRY
Curtis C. Gentry, founder of Gentry Well Works in Dinwiddie County, went to be with the Lord on June 12, 1997, at Southside Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his wife, Sallie Meade Gentry; daughter and son- in-law, Ann and Bennie Owens; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Blanche Green and Mary Heath, both of Petersburg. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 1997, in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home. Interment will be in Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday 7 to 8 p.m. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to Dinwiddie Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 121, Dinwiddie, Va. 23841; or Namozine Volunteer Fire Department, 3913 Pelham Ave., Petersburg, Va. 23831.

GREGORY
Sylvia C. Gregory, 21 of Chesterfield County, departed this life suddenly Monday, June 9, 1997. She is survived by her devoted parents, Jackie S. and Altena Gregory; her devoted sister, Kathy G. Lawrence; a devoted grandmother, Catherine T. Jefferson; one nephew, Mark A. Lawrence Jr.; seven uncles; four aunts, one devoted, Claudia R. Jefferson; five great-aunts; six great-uncles; a brother-in-law, Mark A. Lawrence; and a host of other relatives and friends, among them devoted friends, Felicia Allen and Candace Henderson. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 14, 11 a.m. at Union Baptist Church, 1813 Everett St., Rev. R.C. Davis, Pastor officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. After 10 a.m. Saturday, remains will rest in the above-named church until hour of service. Relatives and friends attending funeral services assemble at the church Saturday 10:30 a.m.

GUINN
Charles W. "Bud" Guinn, of Chester, Va., died June 11, 1997. He is survived by his mother, Virginia Guinn; his father, James Dalton; his daughter, Charmaine Sowers; his son -in-law, Joel Sowers; his grandson, Adam Sowers; his two brothers, four sisters, other family members and numerous friends. He was a Navy veteran, a member of Chester Lodge #94 AF&AM and a retiree of Chesterfield County School System. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 14, at Chester Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chester Presbyterian Church Building Fund, 3424 W. Hundred Road, Chester, Va. 23831. The family is being served by the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.

HANSEN
Donald E. Hansen, 67, of Deltaville, formerly of Richmond, died June 11, 1997. He is survived by his beloved daughters, Carol (Tina) Harman and Kathleen (Kate) Hansen; grandson and granddaughter-in-law, Larry and Debbie Harman; and several friends. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull St. Rd., where the family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and where services will be held 12:30 p.m. Friday. Interment 2 p.m. Friday at Woodland Cemetery, Ashland. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in Tennessee.

Mrs. Thelma C. Jester, 86, of Richmond died Wednesday, June 11, 1997. She is survived by her granddaughter, Leslie W. Childress; her great-granddaughter, Amber Grace Childress; three nieces, Alice McCann, Frances Milliken, Lucille Saxby, and other family and friends. Her remains rest at the West Chapel of the Bennett Funeral Home, 11020 W. Broad St. Road, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (tonight). Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 14 at Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Greater Richmond Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 7124 Forest Hill Ave., Richmond, Va.

JOHNSON
Departed this life June 10, 1997, Heywood Johnson of 2304 Parkwood Ave. He is survived by seven daughters, Gwendolyn Thornhill, Helen V. McCant, TisLarod Johnson, Montease Anderson, Madeline Branch, Cynthia Temple and Angela Larue Johnson; one son, Robert H. Thornhill; host of grand, great-grand and great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mary Mill and Jeanette Libron; one brother, Arthur Johnson Sr.; one devoted aunt, Mary Davis; several nieces; nephews; and cousins; four sons-in-law; five sisters-in-law; four brothers-in-law; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Elizabeth (Libby) B. Jones, 86, of Coles Point, Va. and Richmond passed away June 11, 1997. She was the widow of Garth A. Jones. She is survived by two sons and their wives, G. Sanford and Linda Jones of Virginia Beach and Dennis B. and Cathy Jones of Richmond; her sister, Freida B. Marks of Cape Coral, Fla.; her brother, William P. Goodwin, Jr. of Richmond; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Her re mains rest at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Road, where the family will receive friends 6 to 9 p.m., Saturday and where funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday.
