She leaves to cherish her memory a daughter, Keyonna Washington; son, TyJohn Chiles; mother and stepfather, Patricia and James Watkins III; father, Melvin Austin; sister, Jasmine Watkins; brothers, Antoine Alston and James Watkins IV, grandmothers, Annie Wimbish and Mary Alston; grandfather, Archie Alston; stepgrandparents, Nancy and James Watkins Jr.; great-grandmother, Melinda Ricks; two aunts, fuve uncles; two godmothers, Leola Pritchett and Audrey Chiles; a host of other relatives and friends, two devoted, Richetta Pritchett and Orlando Chiles. Remains rest at the Chiles Funeral Home, 2100 Fairmount Ave. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday at First Baptist Church (Washington Park), 720 Cheatwood Ave., Rev. BERLINGS
Nellie Gray Berlings, 87, of Richmond, widow of August Berlings, died peacefully Monday, October 1, 2001. She will be missed by her many friends and colleagues in Richmond, where she was the first woman to sell real estate for Morton G. Thalhimer, Inc. After a successful sales career, she was a dietician at Westbrook and Stuart Circle Hospitals as well as an active participant in communuty, social and civic organizations. Recently, she had the distinction of being the oldest living member of the German Club. After retirment, Mrs. Berlings began working part-time for the IVNA. She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Ann Berlings of Richmond and Augustina Berlings Rosenbaum and her husband, James Rosenbaum of Charlotte, N.C.; eight grandchildren, Michael Wolfe, Kenneth Wolfe, Pete Pihos, Nikki Walker, Lisa Mann, Corbin Gurkin, Julia Cole Rosenbaum and Jill Rosenbaum; three great-grandchildren, Ian Wolfe, John Mann and Heather Baker; one great-great-grandson, Sean Baker; and a sister in soul, Anne Fitzgerald. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Chris Pihos. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 3, 2001. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.

Larry D. Malone Bey joined Allah on September 27, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl; friend, Charlene Lewis; two children, Anthony M. Bey, Latarsha Lewis; father, Lonnie M. Ross Sr.; mother, the late Doris M. Bey; stepmom, Margaret E. Ross; sisters, C. (James) Crews, M. (David) Ross, L. (Melvin) Lynch; brother, Lonnie M. Ross Jr. Service is Thursday. BUOY
Ritsuko Buoy, 74, of Chester, died on Monday, October 1, 2001. She was the widow of William T. Buoy. Survivors include her son, Jimmie Williams; a sister, Tadako Arai; two granddaughters and their husbands, Michi Moses (Dahryl) and Jenee Alston (Tyrone); one grandson, Jimmie Williams II; four great-grandchildren, Miaya, Ashley, Jasmyn and Dahryl. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at Buford Road Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Interment 2 p.m. Friday at Blue Ridge Memorial Park, Beckley, W.Va.

FEATHER
Blair Hardaway Feather, 90, of Richmond, widow of Walter James Feather, died Monday, October 1, 2001. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Frances G. Hardaway of Richmond; two nieces, Katharine S. Covington and Elizabeth F. Dooley; a nephew, Walter J. Feather; several cousins and many friends. Mrs. Feather was a lifetime member of Lakeside United Methodist Church, where she served as Past President of the United Methodist Women. She also was a member of the Old Dominion Chapter of the National Secretaries Association, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and Betsy Ross Chapter No. 90, Order of the Eastern Star. She retired after 35 years of service with Doctors H.H. Ware. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 East Laburnum Ave. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Wednesday at Lakeside United Methodist Church. Interment Forest Lawn. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the Endowment Fund of Lakeside United Methodist Church, 2333 Hilliard Rd., Richmond, Va., 23228.

FLANAGAN
Charlotte Faye Flanagan, 65, of Richmond, passed away from post-operative complications September 29, 2001. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Pat W.K. Flanagan; son, Adrian Lloyd Flanagan of Richmond; daughter, Lisa Flanagan Monuki of Boston, Mass.; brother, Adrian Derral Cheatwood of San Antonio, Texas; also three grandchildren, Ryan, Keira and Bennett. Mrs. Flanagan was a former distinguished Toastmaster and a member of St. Matthias' Episcopal Church. The family will receive friends Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Rd. A memorial service will be held Thursday, 10 a.m. at St. Matthias' Episcopal Church. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.

FRAZER
Marjorie Woolfolk Frazer, 85, of Orange, died Tuesday, October 2, 2001 at her residence. Born May 14, 1916 on the family farm in Orange County, she was the daughter of the late Bertelle Woolfolk and the late Nannie Terrill Woolfolk. Her husband was the late John Walker Frazer. She was a former teacher and homemaker, member of Macedonia Christian Chuch, Sunday School teacher and charter member of the Christian Womens Fellowship, and correspondent for the "Orange Review." She is survived by one daughter, Ann Frazer Heltzel and husband, Samuel of Vicksburg, Miss.; two sons, John Walker Frazer Jr. and wife, Susan of Richmond, Philip Goodwin Frazer and wife, Peggy of Orange; eight grandchildren, Lisa Eileen Frazer, Andrea Lynn Frazer, Matthew Walker Frazer, Rebecca Joyce Frazer, Peter Goodwin Heltzel, Rachel Heltzel Rankin, Marjorie Minor Heltzel, Robert Strader Heltzel; one great-grandchild, Chloe Crandall. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest Minor Woolfolk and Oliver Terill Woolfolk. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2001, from the Macedonia Christian Church, Lahore, Va., Pastor Kathryn A. Hull officiating. Interment in Pamunkey Cemtery. GLENN
Ruby Orr Glenn, 85, widow of Ira W. Glenn, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2001. She was retired from Home Beneficial Life Insurance Co. She is survived by one brother, Elliott Orr of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; one daughter, Fay Lewis Brock and husband, James; two sons, John Ronald Glenn and Donna and Gary Mitchell Glenn and Dianne; and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 4 at 4 p.m. at Hanover Avenue Christian Church. Memorial donations may be made to Hanover Avenue Christian Church, 1723 Hanover Ave.

HALL
Leroy W. Hall went to be with the Lord October 2, 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife, Clara F. Hall. He is survived by his stepchildren, Barbara Herring, Robert Herring, Pattie Withrow, Charles Engle and Garry Engle; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and four nieces. Mr. Hall was a veteran of both World War II and Korea. His remains rest at Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where the family will receive friends Wednesday (tonight) from 6 to 8 p.m. and where funeral services will be held Thursday, 12:30 p.m. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

HILL
Sherrard Parrish Hill, 91, of Charlottesville, died September 30, 2001 at a local hospital. She was a resident of Westminster Canterbury of the Blue Ridge. Born August 10, 1910 in Richmond, she was the daughter of the late Coason S. and Grace Fleming Parrish. Mrs. Hill was a graduate of the UVA School of Nursing. She is survived by two daughters, Beverly Almond and her husband, Billy and Sherrard Steele Howen and her husband, Thomas, all of Charlottesville; one son, John P. Hill of Troy; a special friend, Gloria Gregory; and three grandchildrne, Leigh Wilson and his wife, Susan of St. Louis, Mo., Robin Wilson Jones and her husband, John Paul of Alexandria and John P. Hill II of Fork Union. A graveside service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. Reverend Eugenie Finn-McKenzie officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Teague Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Charlottesville/Albermarle SPCA, P.O. Box 7047, Charlottesville, Va., 22906.

Mrs. Annie B. Jackson departed this life October 2, 2001. The staff of the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home is serving her family.

Robert William "Bobby" Jones, Sgt. U.S. Army, retired, age 76, of Hopewell, died Friday, September 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Myong Cha Jones; three daughters, Robyn Jones of San Jose, Calif., Carmen Tomlin of Richmond, Carol Jones of Hopewell. Mr. Jones was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Graveside services with full military honors 1 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2001, at Virginia Veterans Cemetery, Amelia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the American Red Cross. Harry Kane, 91, of Mechanicsville, died Tuesday, October 2, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mozelle Taylor Kane; and his daughter, Elizabeth Kane. Remains rest at the Mechanicsville Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 8014 Lee-Davis Rd., where the family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, October 4, in Oakwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Hanover Volunteer Rescue Squad.

MAIDEN
Mr. Thomas Leander Maiden Sr., 83, of Richmond, died on September 29, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Pemberton Maiden; five sons, Thomas L. Maiden Jr., Kenneth W. Maiden, Mark Christopher Maiden, John Pemberton Maiden and William Joseph Maiden; one daughter, Donna Maiden Moss; one sister, Rose M. Lewis; one brother, Robert S. Maiden; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Edward's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment to follow in Dale Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Edward's Catholic Church Building Fund.

MOORE
Kirkland R. "Frog" Moore of Charles City departed this life September 30, 2001. He is survived by a son, Tayvone K. Moore; parents, Ann Moore and Kirkland Smith; devoted grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Smith Sr.; grandfather, Herbert Moore; three sisters, Latika, Chandre and Annia Moore; devoted cousin, Sharndell Smith; special friends, Candace Quivers, Terry Paige and Charles Roane; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at J. Leroy Charity Funeral Home, Charles City. At noon Thursday, Mr. Moore will rest at Parrish Hill Baptist Church, where services will be held 2 p.m. Reverend E.
