Lulia K. Davis
Lulia Koger Davis, 96, of Washington, D.C., and formerly of Martinsville, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at George Washington Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Hairston Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

Victoria Davis
The funeral for Victoria "Vicky" Davis, 69, of Ridgeway, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Bassett Funeral Service with the Rev. Steve Tilley officiating. Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park.
She died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at Kindred Hospital in Greensboro, N.C.
She was born May 12, 1935, in West Virginia to Mary Guilliams of Stuart and Howard Puckett. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Virginia Hutton, Reva Crowder and Christine Deal, and a brother, Howard Wagoner.
Surviving are her husband, Roy Davis of the home; two daughters, Vickie Caldwell of Pulaski and Debbie Prosperie of Texas; a son, Wayne Roark of Texas; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three brothers, Billy Wagoner of Martinsville, Luther Wagoner of Bassett and John Wagoner of Patrick Springs; and three sisters, Lillie Brown of Stuart and Elizabeth Nichols and Gene Bradbury, both of Roanoke.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Sallie H. Fuller
The funeral for Sallie Ruth Hodge Fuller, 70, of 25 Pettie Drive, Martinsville, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Stanfield-Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. William Shackleford officiating. Burial will be in Carver Memorial Gardens.
She died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at Blue Ridge Rehabilitation Center.
She was born July 25, 1934, in Henry County to Elder Raish Hodge and Essie Eggleston Hodge. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Jeanne M. Fuller; three brothers, Robert Hodge, Raish Hodge Jr. and Curtis Hodge; and two sisters, Mildred Flood and Gladys Koger.
She was a knitter for Bassett-Walker and was a member of St. Paul High Street Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, William L. Fuller Sr. of the home; two daughters, Margaret Jennings of Danville and Joyce Leake of Callands; two sons, William L. Fuller Jr. and Jerry L. Fuller, both of Martinsville; four brothers, James Hodge of Danville, Joe Hodge of Washington, D.C., Clyde Hodge of Axton and Melvin Hodge of Texas; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Thursday before the funeral at the funeral home.

Winfred G. Kirk Sr.
Winfred Giles "Fred" Kirk Sr., 69, of 1027 Morningside Lane, Martinsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Arrangements will be announced by McKee-Stone Funeral Services.

Mildred Ore
Mildred Barbour Hall Thompson Ore, 87, formerly of Martinsville, died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, at Lynchburg General Hospital.
She was born Aug. 29, 1917.
Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

Spencer R. Secrest
Spencer Ryan Secrest, 10, of 11374 Snow Creek Road, Rocky Mount, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, in Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 3, 1994, in Martinsville to Ernest "Tim" Secrest and Karen Elizabeth Barlow Secrest, both of the home. He was affiliated with several churches.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a sister, Emily Lynn Secrest, and a brother, Ernest T. Secrest II, both of the home; maternal grandparents, Shirley Mae Barlow and William "Buster" Barlow of Martinsville; paternal grandparents, Billy L. Secrest and Iva Lea Secrest of Martinsville; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Norris Funeral Services chapel with the Rev. William Preskitt officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Martinsville.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home and other times at the family home.

Carroll N. Williams
The funeral for Carroll Noland Williams, 82, of 104 Shannon Court, Ridgeway, will be held at 11 a.m. today at Norris Funeral Services chapel with the Rev. John Fulcher officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
He was born June 4, 1922, in Franklin County. His date of birth was incorrect in Tuesday's Martinsville Bulletin.

Sarah A. Young
The funeral for Sarah Alder Young, 74, of 4087 Mt. Olivet Road, Martinsville, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Norris Funeral Services chapel with the Rev. Gary Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
She died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 16, 1930, in Franklin County to Howard H. Hodges and Mary Alice Cassell Hodges. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Wattie Alvin Young; and a sister, Sena Hodges.
She was retired from Pannill Knitting Co. with more than 29 years of service.
Surviving are a son, Michael Alvin Young of the home, and a sister, Bettie Alice H. Adams of Ferrum.
The family will receive friends at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, and other times at the family home.
Memorials may be made to the Martinsville-Henry County SPCA, P.O. Box 326, Collinsville, Va. 24078.

Charles B. Baughan Jr.
Charles Burton Baughan Jr., 82, of Birmingham, Ala., and formerly of Martinsville, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005.
Arrangements will be announced by McKee-Stone Funeral Services

Clara K. Broce
Clara Katherine Broce, 76, of 49 Hickory Drive, Collinsville, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at her home.
She was born in Hot Springs on March 19, 1928, to Armond Broce and Nona Deaner Broce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Broce.
She served in the Marines and retired from DuPont.
Surviving are two sisters, Elizabeth Capps of St. Augustine, Fla. and Josephine Fogus of Frankford, W.Va.; and two brothers, James Broce of Rocky Mount and Norman Broce of Atlanta.
The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends for one hour before the funeral at the funeral home.

Bobby Edwards
Bobby Edwards, 65, of Blue Ridge Rehab Center, Martinsville, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.
Arrangements will be announced by Bassett Funeral Services.

Vannie B. Foley
The funeral for Vannie Dothan Buffkin Foley, 84, of Ridgeway, who died Feb. 20, 2005, was held Thursday at Community Funeral Services chapel with Charles R. Tomlinson officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers were Jesse Draper, Barry LaPrade, David Amos, Earl Williams, Junior Amos and Benny Williams.
