Joseph Michael Natoli, Sr., 77, of Brandy Station died Thursday, February 27, 2003, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. He was born October 6, 1925 in Washington, DC to the late Anthony Natoli and Amelia Travolta Natoli. Mr. Natoli was a veteran of the United States Army. He a member of Culpeper United Methodist Church, a member of the Quiet Birdman Assoc., the Lions Club in Springfield, Aircraft Owner and Pilot Assoc., Experimental Aircraft Assoc. and Warbird Assoc. Mr. Natoli is survived by his wife of fifty years, Geraldine Rebecca Natoli, five children, Joe Natoli, Jr. of Patrick Springs, VA, Michael Joseph Natoli of Hopewell, Connie Marie Fitton of Fredericskburg, Dale Anthony Natoli of Kittyhawk, NC and Nathaniel Timothy Natoli of Rutland, VT. Additional survivors include thirteen grandchildren, Jaime, Jody, Jonathan, Alexander, Jeremy, Robert, Anthony, Brian, Dustin, Aaron, Katie, Dominic and Raymond. He is also survived by four sisters, Ann Collins of Arlington, Mary Rich of Kearnersville, NC, Connie Deck of Covinea, CA and Rita Kilborne of Annandale, and a special friend, Carolyn Setti of Culpeper. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda A. Natoli, two grandsons, Christopher Natoli and Joshua Daniel Natoli, a great granddaughter, Jessica Fitton and a brother, Frank Natoli. The family will receive friends Monday, March 3, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, March 4, at 2 p.m. at Culpeper United Methodist Church with Rev. Robert J. Donnelly officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery. Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.

David Kyle Jones, 50, of Rixeyville died Monday, September 9, 2002. He was born April 8, 1952 in Fairview, West Virginia to Alberta Ruth Jones of Fairview, WV and the late Kyle Wayne Jones. Mr. Jones is survived by his mother, and his significant other, Cindy Colvin of Rixeyville, a daughter, Amy Jones and her fiance, Geoffrey Bailey both of Brandy Station, and three sons, Shawn Adam Jones of Rixeyville, David "Bud" Jones and his wife, Donna both of Dumfries, VA and Cody Adam Jones of Widewater, VA. Mr. Jones was the proud grandfather of four grandchildren, Chasity Edwards and Brittany Edwards both of Brandy Station and Angel Jones and Katie Jones both of Dumfries. He is also survived by two brothers, Bill Jones and his spouse, Carol both of Morgantown, WV and Jack Jones and his spouse, Susan both of Brave, PA and two sisters, Sherry Maxwell and her spouse, Mike, and Penny Quickle and her spouse, Roger all of Fairview, WV. He was preceded in death by his father, and Sandra Jones his former wife and mother of Amy and David. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 12, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Friday, September 13, at 3 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Freddie Meadows officiating. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.

Bertha Coffey

Bertha Woodie Coffey, 77, of Culpeper, died January 11, 2003, at her residence. She was born in Charlottesville on October 6, 1925 to the late Tom and Lucinda Powell Woodie. Mrs. Coffey is survived by her two sons, Carroll and his wife, Daisy of Locust Grove, Steve Coffey of Griffinsburg, and one daughter, Barbara Utz and her husband, Floyd of Culpeper. Additional survivors inlcude one sister, Nannie Estes of Lynchburg, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett E. Coffey, one son, Larry Coffey, two brothers, "Buster" John Woodie and George Woodie and four sisters, Arabella York, Lillie Moon, Virginia McAllister and Helen Watson. The family will receive friends Monday, January 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 14, at 11 a.m. at Found and Sons Chapel. Interment will follow at Monticello Memory Gardens. Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is in charge of the arrangments.

Ernest "Billy" Sisk

Ernest William "Billy" Sisk, 68, of Sperryville, formerly of Manassas died Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Georgetown University Hospital. He was born August 30, 1934 in Woodville to the late Robert Lee Sisk and Emma Frances Dodson. Mr. Sisk was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after forty-three years from Virginia Concrete Company, and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Manassas. Mr. Sisk is survived by his wife, Edna Sisk, three daughters, Diane Edge and her husband, Steve both of Manassas, Pam Sargent and her husband, Mike both of Fredericksburg, and Wanda Thorne and her husband, James both of Front Royal, and one son, Eric Sisk of Manassas. Additional survivors include five sisters, Peggy Tharp of Warrenton, Helen Hitt of Reva, Adele Palmer and "PJ" Reel both of Manassas and Virginia Dodson of Rochelle and one brother, Ivan Sisk of Culpeper. Mr. Sisk is also survived by nine grandchildren, Melissa Howell Coker of Waldorf, MD, Raymond Howell, Jr. of Clinton, MD, Amy Fitchett, Michael Sargent, Jr. and Joseph Sargent all of Fredericksburg, April Coles of Camdon, NJ, Andrew Thorne and Justin Thorne both of Front Royal and Sarah Edge of Manassas, and six great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Fincham and one brother, Robert Sisk. The family will receive friends Friday, January 24, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Saturday, January 25, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Pastor Eugene Zorbas officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lloyd Dodson, Robert Hitt, Raymond Howell, Sr., Raymond Howell, Jr., Michael Sargent, Jr. and Ricky Fincham. Mr. Jerry Edward Bair, 61, of King George died on Wednesday, September 25, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. Born in Ohio, Mr. Bair was a veteran of the Navy. He is survived by a son, Timothy Samuel Bair of King George and a brother, Carl Bair of Bryan, Ohio. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 28, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg from 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel at 3:00 pm. Interment will be private. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the Spotsylvania County Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 101, Spotsylvania, VA 22553 or to the Chancellorsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 41100, Fredericksburg, VA 22404.

Geraldine Sexton Christoforatos, 69 of Fredericksburg, died at home on Wednesday, September 25, 2002. Former owner of Dugans of Fredericksburg, and Eskimo Diner in Stafford; she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, George J. Christoforatos, two sisters, a brother, and both parents. She is survived by a son Jerry G. Christoforatos of Fredericksburg; a daughter and caregiver, Angie Allen of the home; a step-daughter Tina D. Phipps of Stafford; seven grandchildren; two sisters Mozella Greenstreet of Stafford, and Sandy Lightsey of Odessa, Texas; a brother Mazel Sexton of Neon, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews. The pallbearers will be Billy Karas, Paul Karas, Ronald E. Sullivan, Jr., Thomas Sidney Phelps, Jr., John Woodard, and Elbert Smith. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, September 29, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg. A funeral will be held at 12:00 pm on Monday, September 30, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Quantico National cemetery.

Clyde Neil

Clyde Goehringer Neil, 86, of Culpeper died Wednesday, October 30, 2002, at his residence. He was born May 12, 1916 in Garrett, Pennsylvania to the late Harry A. Neil and Emma Goehringer Neil. Mr. Neil served as a lieutenant in the Army Air Corp and continued in a career as a civilian with the Department of Defense and the United States Coast Guard. He is survived by two sons, Thomas F. Neil and his wife, Nicola of Warrenton, and Robert W. Neil and his wife, Donna of Vienna, and a daughter, Judith Ann Neil of Culpeper. Also surviving him are six grandchildren, Thomas Adam and his wife, Laura, Sabrina, Morgan, Matthew, Stephen and Jeffrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-four years, Tina N. Neil and his sister, Helene Harbold. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 3, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Monday, November 4, at 10 a.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with the Rev. Debbie Frye officiating. Interment will follow in Culpeper National cemetery with honors provided by the Culpeper American Legion Post #330 and the Culpeper V.F.W. #2425. Mr. Neil's sons and grandsons will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Family Care Home Health and Hospice, 610 Laurel Street, Culpeper, VA 22701. Mildred Louise Burke, 71, of Culpeper died Thursday, December 19, 2002, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born December 22, 1930 in Culpeper County to the late Lewis McKinley Carder and Hattie Spicer Carder. Mrs. Burke was a homemaker and caregiver to many. Her door was always open to anyone. She was a member of Alum Springs Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of over fifty years, William E. Burke, Sr. and four children, Cenie Faye Greer and her husband, John of Culpeper, William Earl Burke, Jr. and his wife, Wanda of Charlottesville, Patricia Anne Cox and her husband, Joe of Wapakoneta, OH and Lewis Wayne Burke and his wife, Robin of Culpeper. Additional survivors include eight grandchildren, Angela Gibson, Michelle Green, Dawn, Lewis, Amanda and Marshall Burke and Joey and Marcus Cox, four great grandchildren, Shelby and Madison Green, Brook Gibson and Shane Mills and one nephew, John Carder and his wife, Carol of Charlottesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Eugene Burke and a sister, Anne Carder. The family will receive friends Sunday, December 22, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 23, at 2 p.m. at Found and Sons Chapel with Rev. John S. Farrar and Rev. John Miller officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview cemetery. MacInnis of Texas and Tamara L. Parrish of North Carolina; two granddaughters, Stephanie Thompson of Texas and Rebecca N. Jones of Fredericksburg, VA; a grandson, Corey J. Williams of Pennsylvania and a great granddaughter, Serenity L. Lodemeier of Texas. Earl Delano "Boogie" Rose, Jr. 25, of Spotsylvania County died unexpectedly Friday, October 4, 2002 in Stafford County. He is survived by his daughter, Ajah Lin Rose of Spotsylvania; his mother and stepfather, Frances Estelle Bland and Dave Bland of Spotsylvania; his father and stepmother, Earl Delano Rose and Donna Downin of Spotsylvania; two sisters, Julie Warren and Anita J. Rose of Stafford; and his maternal step grandfather, Ed Bland of Baltimore, MD. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Franklin D. Rose. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg from 6:00-8:00 pm. Mrs. Vonda Kaye Heflin, 32 of Spotsylvania, died Friday December 6, 2002 at Bowling Green Health Care Center after a long battle with type 1 diabetes. She is survived by her husband Leslie B. Heflin; her mother and step father, Jeanne Fravel-Meyers and John H. Meyers of Dahlgren, VA; her father, Charles Harold of Monterey, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She is also survived by three sisters, Mrs. Christie H. Glancy of Fredericksburg, VA, Mrs. Karai J. Simpson of Roanoke, VA and Miss Ashley N. Meyers of Dahlgren, VA and her grandmother, Phyllis W. Fravel of Aldie, VA. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Gerald C. Fravel. A memorial service will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at 7:00pm with the Rev. John Briggs officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will be private. The family requests that expressions take the form of contributions to the Spotsylvania Church of God Building Fund, 12240 Five Mile Road, Fredericksburg, VA 22407.
