Mr. Monday Atkins, 84, of Stafford died on Sunday, October 6, 2002 at his home. He served in the United States Army. He is survived by two daughters, Ruth Bourne of Stafford and Bonnie Edwards of Mt. Airy, NC; two sons, Sammy Atkins of Stafford and Louis Atkins of the home; two sisters, Lillian Lam and Virgie Cox. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 9, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg from 7:00-9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel at 11:00am with the Rev. John McKay officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Ashby Louise Tibbs, 64, of Culpeper, died January 10, 2003, at Culpeper Regional Hospital. She was born October 1, 1938, to the late Andrew Smith and Eliza Jane Robinson Smith. Mrs. Tibbs was a homemaker. She is survived eleven children, Harry Tibbs of Fredericksburg, Va, Charles Tibbs of Centerville, Va., David Tibbs of Culpeper, Va., Ricky Tibbs of Culpeper, Va., Robert Tibbs of Culpeper, Va., Barbara Tibbs of Culpeper, Va., Peggy Sue Brooks of Culpeper, Va., Eliza Jasper, Reva, Va., John Lewis Tibbs of Culpeper, Va., Joanne Tyler, Culpeper, Va., and Lemont Tibbs, of Culpeper, Va., numerous grandchildren and one great grandchild. Additional survivors include one brother, Taylor Smith of Reva, Va., two aunts, Virginia Thompson of Reva, Va. and Mary Catherine Jackson of Reva, Va., two sister-in-laws, Edna Mae Smith of Culpeper, Va. and Rose Smith of Reva, Va. Mrs. Tibbs was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter Dorothy Tibbs, two brothers Robert Smith and Lewis Robinson, one sister Hattie Johnson. The family will receive friends Monday, January 13, 2003 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found & Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Found & Sons Funeral Chapel, with Rev. Billy Scott Officiating. Interment will be at the Ebenezer Baptist cemetery in Lignum. Found & Sons Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Virginia "Ginny" Cash Jacobs, 59, of Elkwood died Saturday, January 5, 2002, at her residence. She was born June 2, 1942 in Fredericksburg, VA to the late Thomas Cash and Hester Davis Cash. Ginny was employed with G & H Manufacturing Company for twenty-eight years. She was a member of Flat Run Baptist Church. Ginny enjoyed sewing and working in her garden. She is survived by her husband of forty years, Ronald "Ronnie" Jacobs of Elkwood, her sister, Frances Cash Myers, her brother, Thomas Cash, Jr. and her nephew, Brandon Cash all of Fredericksburg. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 9, at 11 a.m. at Hopewell United Methodist Church with Rev. Sam Pearson officiating. Interment will follow in Hopewell United Methodist Church cemetery. Pallbearers will be Randy Myers, Dick Myers, Jim Weaver, Jim Hicks, Mike Lane and Bill Myers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Flat Run Baptist Church, P.O. Box 334, Locust Grove, VA 22508. Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Culpeper is in charge of the arrangements.

James Newton Lindsay, 90, of Culpeper died Tuesday, January 8, 2002, at the Culpeper Baptist Retirement Community. He was born August 4, 1911 in Brandy Station to the late Philip Crisler Lindsay and Annie Olive Strickler Lindsay. Mr. Lindsay was a member of the Fairfax Masonic Lodge #43. Mr. Lindsay is survived by his brother, Stuart "Chuck" Wilson Lindsay and his sister, Sara Lindsay Albert both of Culpeper. Additional survivors include three nephews, Stuart Crisler Lindsay, James Randolph Lindsay and Harrison Crisler Lindsay all of Culpeper and two nieces, Sarann Albert Ball and Nancy Jane Albert both of Warrenton. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 10, at 1 p.m. at Culpeper Masonic cemetery with Rev. R. Wayne Bernardo officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Brandy Station Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 19, Brandy Station, VA 22714. Dennis Leroy Harding, 52 of White Oak, died of cancer at his home on Thursday, January 10, 2002. A native of White Oak, he worked as a specialty wood worker for Accent Millwork. He was a member of the Patawomeck tribe. He was a faithful witness to the Lord Jesus Christ with no particular denominational affiliation. He is survived by his wife of over 32 years, Kathy Harding; four daughters, Crystal Raines, Misty Harding both of Stafford, Denise Harding of Petersburg, Amy Harding of Colonial Beach; a son, Dennis D. Harding of Stafford; two sisters, Louise Calvinelli of New Jersey, Geraldine Sullivan of Fredericksburg; three brothers, Joe Harding, Jake Harding, Pete Harding all of Stafford, and six grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, Fredericksburg on Sunday, January 13, 2002 from 3:00 to 5:00pm. A funeral service will be held at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel on Monday, January 14, 2002 at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Charles Leonard officiating. Interment will take place on Tuesday, January 15, 2002 at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 10:00 am. Mrs. Estelle Hortense Lawson, 80, of Stafford died on Friday, November 22, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on August 29, 1922 in Charlottesville, Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Harvey K. Lawson; a son and his wife, Herman and Delores Lawson of Spotsylvania; three grandchildren, Anthony and his wife, Brittany Lawson of Richmond Brook and Lucus Payne; a great grandson, Anthony Drew Lawson. Additional survivors include her caregiver, Nancy Kurucz. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 1 p.m. Interment will follow in the cemetery. The family will receive friends after the service at the home of Nancy Kurucz.

Daniel Corbin

Daniel "Cricket" Wayne Corbin died November 25, 2002. Danny was born September 15, 1974 to Wayne M. Corbin of Lignum and Vicki Harrison Dodson of Russellville, Kentucky. He attended Culpeper County Schools and was self employed, living his life with his special grandparents Thelma and the late Robert L. Corbin, Sr. He is also survived by his loving companion of ten years, Stacy Settle and their two children, Trey Settle and Cierra Corbin of Culpeper; Stepmother, Regina Corbin of Lignum; Grandparents, Mitch Harrison of Catlett, VA, and Bobbie Harrison of Westminster, MD; two Sisters, Samantha Corbin of Lignum and Jennifer Dodson of Russellville, Kentucky; his Uncles, Russell and Jerry of Culpeper, Billy and Dennis of Reva, Terry of Warrenton, Robert Lee of Fayetteville, NC, and Mike Harrison of Virginia Beach, VA; One Aunt, Patty Corbin. Special cousins, Andy Bennett of Fredericksburg, Leslie Cleary of Athens, TN, Jake and Jodi Nicholson of Reva, and Jason Woodward of Madison, in addition to numerous cousins, friends and loved ones. Danny had a love for sports, hunting with his Dad and Uncles, and especially Trout fishing. The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 27 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel, 850 Sperryville Pike, Culpeper. A funeral service will be held 11a.m. on Friday, Nov. 29, 2002 at Lael Baptist Church in Lignum with the Rev. Peyton Wiltshire officiating. Interment will follow at the Lael cemetery in Lignum. His uncles will serve as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to T/C Trust Fund in care of Wayne and Regina Corbin, 23428 Batna Road, Lignum, VA 22726. Ina Jean Osborne Haley, 88 of King George, died Friday, January 18, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was preceded in death by, Amos Victor Osborne married 32 years, and most recently by Hanford Haley, to whom she was married to for 31 years. She is survived by three daughters, Barbara Littrell of Spotsylvania, Annabell Hodge of Sparta, North Carolina, and Georgia Mae Haynes of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; a son, Ralph Esaue Osborne of North Wilkesboro, North Carolina; thirty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and fifteen great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Found and Sons Fredericksburg chapel on Monday, January 21, 2002 from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at Found and Sons chapel on Tuesday, January 22, 2002 at 2:00 pm, interment will take place at Oak Hill cemetery, Rev. Billy Barnes officiating. Mrs. Diane Marie Buck Lambert, 31, of Colonial Beach died on Sunday, March 3, 2002 at the Medical College of Virginia after a short illness. She worked for the Federal Bureau of Prisons in the financial department for a couple of years. She also supported the organ donor program and was a heart donor herself. She is survived by her husband, Kenneth L. Lambert; a son, Sean T. Buck of the home; a daughter, Gabrielle M. Lambert of the home; her parents, Al and Janis Garcia of Stafford; a sister, Katherine Y. Callaway of Stafford; three brothers, Louis E. Garcia and Steven C. Garcia, both of South Riding, VA and Michael A. Garcia of Potomac Falls, VA; maternal grandmother, Marjorie W. Lash of Clarkdale, AZ; paternal grandparents, Jesus A. and Alfonsina L. Garcia of Nogales, AZ and numerous aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by her infant son, Ronnie L. Lambert. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 8, 2002 at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel of Fredericksburg from 6:00-8:00 pm with a prayer service starting at 7:30. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2002 at St. William of York Catholic Church at 10:00 am with Father Paul Eversole officiating. Interment will be private. Louise Waller Stoppelli, 87 of Partlow died at her home on Friday, January 25, 2002. Formerly of Bethesda, Maryland, she worked for the government; was a lifelong member of the Daughters of the American Revolution was a member of the Colonial Dames, the Huguenot Society, and the Washington Club. She is survived by husband of over 45 years, Louis Stoppelli, a daughter Allain Witmer of Spotsylvania, a son Richard Crenshaw of Annapolis, MD, five grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Judge Waller. A graveside service will be held at Wallers Baptist Church cemetery on Monday, January 28, 2002 at 2:00 pm, Rev. Todd Kube officiating. Found and Sons Funeral Chapels of Fredericksburg is handling the arrangements.

Mrs. Edna Hazel Kniseley, 96, of Fredericksburg died Sunday, February 10, 2002 at Mary Washington Hospital. She was born on July 8, 1905 to the late Etta High and William Sellers in Cumberland, Maryland. Mrs. Kniseley was employed as a Supervisor for the United States Census Bureau. She is survived by a daughter; G. Maxine Kapcar of Fredericksburg, two sons; Gene Kniseley of Stafford, Allan Kniseley of Manassas; eight grandchildren, Gary, Donald, Jean Marie, Maxine and Karen Kniseley, Christine Meadows, Patty Lou Enochs, and Christina Diamond. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Todd A. Kapcar. A Funeral mass will be said on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 109 N. Smallwood St., Cumberland, Maryland at 11 a.m. with Father James Kurtz officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of a donation to the Multiple Sclerosis Assoc. of America, P.O.
