Also surviving are her devoted granddaughter, Kiersten Lundy; mother, Frances James; father, Luther James; sister, Gloria Miller; three brothers, Kenneth, Luther A. and Timothy James; sister-in-law, Stacilyn James; ten aunts, one devoted, Clarice Woods; three uncles; four nieces; five nephews; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends, one devoted friend, Gloria Allen. Her remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 North Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va., where the family will receive friends 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Friday. Bessie Campbell Coles, formerly of Richmond, Va., entered eternal rest Saturday, November 17, 2001 in Union, N.J. She leaves to cherish her memory one devoted daughter, Dana Monique Coles of Lancaster, Pa.

CRAIG
William Edlow Craig, 93, of Richmond, passed away November 20, 2001 at the University Park Health Care Center. Survivors include his daughter, Elizabeth G. "Betsy" Craig; several cousins; and a faithful friend, David B. Lyons Sr. Mr. Craig retired from Export Leaf Tobacco Co. as Secretary and Director after 45 years of service and was a member and Deacon Emeritus of Pine Street Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of University Park for their dedicated support and loving care. His remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 23. Interment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Properties Endowment Fund at Pine Street Baptist Church, 400 S. Pine St., Richmond, Va. 23220.

Crews; one brother-in-law; one devoted sister-in-law, Dorothy L. Crews; two sons-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends, including one devoted cousin, Thelma Fant. Dorothy L. Dunham, 101, of Richmond, died Tuesday, November 20, 2001. She was the widow of Arthur L. Dunham. She is survived by her daughter, Louise D. Williams and her husband, Harold; two grandchildren, Elizabeth W. Bissett and her husband, Jimm and Harold J. Williams III and his wife, Suzanne; two great-grandchildren, Andrew M. and Caroline P. Williams; four nieces; two nephews. Mrs. Dunham was a member of Chapter Y, P.E.O. and Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, November 28 at Grace & Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Altar Guild of Grace & Holy Trinity Church or the Endowment Funds of St. Christopher's School or St. Catherine's School.

Mrs. Louise Bragg Fulmer, 86, of Chase City, died November 20, 2001. She was a member of Mecklenburg Baptist Temple and the widow of Hoyt J. Fulmer. She is survived by a son, Allen Fulmer of South Hill; and a brother, Joseph Bragg of Nottingham, England. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodland Cemetery. Rev. Michael Coward officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Chase City Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 81, or Chase City Fire Department, P.O. Box 595, Chase City, Va. 23924. GOULDEN
Daisy Taliaferro Gouldin, 91, of Oakalona, Essex County, died at Riverside-Tappahannock Hospital on Tuesday, November 20, 2001. She was the widow of Major Robert A. Gouldin, who lost his life in Europe during World War II. Mrs. Gouldin was the daughter of the late Daisy Chapman Taliaferro and William Taliaferro. She is survived by a sister, Phoebe T. Williamson and her brother-in-law, John S. Williamson; sisters-in-law, Mary J. Taliaferro and Jean B. Taliaferro; brother-in-law, retired Lt.Col. Robert W. Foster. For many years she was an active member of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Essex County, having been a member of the choir and a Sunday School teacher. She also served in other capacities as a faithful and loyal member of the church. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday in Bethlehem Baptist Church, where the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Essex Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church, P.O. Box 40, Champlain, Va. 22438.

GRAVES-TOMKINSON
Ann Graves Tomkinson, 79, of Richmond, died November 20, 2001. She was the widow of George W. Graves and Charles Tomkinson. She is survived by two children, Bill Graves and Vicki Mistr; two stepchildren, Patricia T. Chappel and Chuck Tomkinson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2001 at 11 a.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home. Interment at Washington Memorial Park following services. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Acca Shrine Hospital Van Fund.

GUESS
Mary Sclater Blain Guess, 86, of Fork Union, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday, Novmeber 19, 2001. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. Guess. She is survived by two sons and their wives, Randolph H. and Linda Blain of Va. Beach and David E. and Kathryn Blain of Fork Union; one daughter and her husband, Judith Blain and Garnett Kennedy of Fork Union; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Guess was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Richmond and Bethel Baptist Church of Palmyra. Her remains rest at the Sheridan Funeral Home, Kents Store, Va., where the family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Friday night. Funeral services will be at Bethel Baptist Church at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 24. Burial will follow at Fork Union Memorial Cemetery.

Mrs. Hazel H. Houston, age 77, of Mechanicsville, died Saturday, November 17, 2001. She is survived by her husband, John T. Houston Jr.; three children, Brad W. Houston of Virginia, Douglas A. Houston of New Kent and Clift P. Houston of Hanover; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren. Mrs. Houston was a member of the Methodist Orphan Alumni Association. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the Laburnum Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 2110 East Laburnum Ave. Interment private. Nancy Colvig Miller, 75, went home to be with the Lord Monday, November 19, 2001. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Clinton F. Miller Jr.; one daughter, Kathryn "Fran" Tredway and her husband, Rick Tredway; and three sons, Clinton F. Miller III and his wife, Glenda L. Miller, David B. Miller, and John S. Miller and his wife, Debbie Miller. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Clinton Miller IV, Adam Sorrell, Laurel Miller, Tabatha Lewis, Candice Pecka, Nichole McDonald and Angie Coley. She was a member of Laurel Presbyterian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary Post 244, and DAR. She graduated from RPI with a bachelor's degree in arts, and taught music at St. Catherine's and in the Henrico and Hanover school systems. The family will receive visitors and friends at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, where funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday. Interment will follow in Hollywood Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Laurel Presbyterian Church.

Douglas W. Reardon, beloved husband and father, formerly of Ashland, died unexpectedly Monday, November 19, 2001 in Emporia, Va. He was retired from the Virginia State Police, Bureau of Criminal Investigations. Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Faye Reardon, Emporia, Va.; children, Naomi Brooks, Mechanicsville, Va., Joseph Douglas Reardon, Richmond, Va.; grandchildren, Ian, Aaron, Joshua, Kyle, Octavia; sisters, Barbara Duval, Betty Carrier and Sandra Krause. The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 Parham Rd. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday at Westhampton Memorial Park.

V. Eugene "Shorty" Roberson, 62, of Chesterfield, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 20, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife, Linda T. Roberson; sons, Jeffrey E. and Kenneth D. Roberson; sister, Kathy R. Jenkins; brothers, James M., Andy D., B. Harold and Steve H. Roberson; grandsons, Brad, Travis and Hunter Roberson. Mr. Roberson was a sheet metal mechanic with AMF Bakery Holdings, Inc. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Dale Memorial Park.
