We know our Father in heaven because we have journeyed beside sweet Hazel. A woman who esteemed the Word of life in the midst of struggle and adversity, she leaves a legacy of faith, the memories of a life marked by vitality and compassion, and the gift of music. Palmer, in 1989, Hazel moved from her home on the Chickahominy River to Chambrel in Williamsburg. She shared her musical talents with the members of Chambrel, leading weekly sing-a-longs and hymn sings. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Alexander Benners Berry Jr., Louis K.
