Frank R. Carver Sr., of Richmond departed this life Wednesday, May 1, 2002. He is survived by four daughters, Delores Kirton, Jacqueline Hull (LeOtha), Ruth Jones and Naomi Horne (Eugene); three sons, Rev. Frank Jr. (Barbara), James (Corrine) and Ronald (Cleo); 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one sister, Rosena Lockwood; one sister-in-law, Coreania Carter; one brother-in-law, Larry Lockwood; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. The family will receive friends Monday, May 6 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Hood Temple AME Zion Church, 16 W. Clay St. at which time funeral services will begin. Dr. Kevin McGill, pastor, officiating. Entombment in Forest Lawn Mausoleum. Relatives and friends attending funeral services assembly at the church Monday, 1 p.m.

CHANCELLOR
Phyllis M. Chancellor, 70, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord Saturday, May 4, 2002. She is survived by her sisters, Mary E. Hall, Ivey Hunter of Phelon, Calif., and Christine Gleason; a brother, Marvin W. Chancellor; and a number of loving nieces and nephews. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends Monday, 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., and where funeral services will be held Tuesday 11 a.m. Interment Maury Cemetery.

Mrs. Marie Walker Coles of 10705 Blue Bell Dr., Glen Allen, Va., died May 4, 2002. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. Funeral notice later.

CRUMP
Mrs. Mary H. Crump, age 89, of Richmond, formerly of Charles City, Va., died May 3, 2002. Surviving are six daughters, devoted Grace M. Crump, Kate Crump, Lois Anderson, Hilda Barbour, Gloria Williams and Gwendolyn Mosby; 17 grandchildren, three devoted, Robin Riley, Penny Gaines and Charmaine Smith; host of great-grandchildren; one sister, Margaret Neal; two sons-in-law, Rev. E. Walter Anderson and Rev. Charles M. Williams; one daughter-in-law, Mary Alice Crump; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd. After 12 Noon Tuesday, May 7, remains will rest in Parrish Hill Baptist Church, Charles City, Va., where funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Rev. E. DAVIS
Victor C. Davis of Richmond, died May 4, 2002. Remains rest at Scott-Lightfoot Funeral Home, 3021 "N" Street. Funeral notice later.

DUNCANSON
William Beverly Duncanson, 82, of Richmond, formerly of Blackstone, died May 3, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Doris Moore Duncanson; son, William Edward Duncanson and his wife, Linda of Farnham; daughters, Beverly D. Fulwider and her husband, Carl and Page D. Wilhoite and her husband, Rob, all of Mechanicsville; grandchildren, Nicholas Holmes, Maggie Wilhoite, Will and Patrick Duncanson; sister, Elizabeth D. Bucher and her husband, Bill of Richmond. Mr. Duncanson was a WW II Army Veteran, retired from the Federal Aviation Administration after 35 years of service and was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church in Mechanicsville. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Central Chapel, 3801 Augusta Avenue, where the family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, and where services will be held 10 a.m. Monday. Interment 2 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery, Blackstone. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the American Diabetes Association Memorial and Honor Program, P. O. Box 2680, North Canton, Ohio 44720 or Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad, 2007 Timberlake Avenue, Richmond 23228. His love for his family is the bond that will always hold us together and our love for him will stay forever in our hearts.

FRIEDLANDER
Itzhak Israel Friedlander, 66, of Richmond and Tel-Aviv, Israel, died Saturday, April 20, 2002. He is survived by his loving partner of 17 years, Geri Oliver; her daughter and son-in-law, Beth and Graham Corry; his brother, Zeev and sister-in-law, Zeva Friedlander and their children and grandchildren; daughter and son-in-law, Rebeka and Brian Becks and their children, Benjamin and Jessica; and son and daughter-in-law, Ariel and Barbara Friedlander and their children, David and Robert. Ike was a graduate of VPI, U of R and Northern VA Law School. He was a retired project engineer for the state and an attorney with the law firm of Krumbein & Associates. Interment was in Israel. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2002 at the Jewish Community Center, 5403 Monument Avenue. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or Tuckahoe Rescue Squad.

GARBER
Charles B. Garber, 80, C.L.U. Agent with New York Life Insurance Co. for 39 years, died May 2, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Virginia Simms Garber; sister, Charlene Kolobinski of Arlington, Texas; and several great-nieces and great- nephews. Mr. Garber was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army Air Corps. A memorial service will be held 4 p.m. Sunday, May 5, 2002 at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., after which the family will receive friends. Interment will be 2 p.m. Monday at Middle River Church of the Brethren in New Hope, Va. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ashland Volunteer Rescue Squad, 201 Duncan St., Ashland, Va. 23005.

GEE
Lloyd Bryant Gee, 86, of Richmond, died Friday, May 3, 2002. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Wright Gee; two nieces and two nephews. Mr. Gee was a Navy veteran of WWII. He was retired from the Federal Reserve Bank and was a member of Lakeside Presbyterian Church. Remains rest at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave., where the family will receive friends 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, and where services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, May 6. Entombment in Forest Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lakeside Presbyterian Church or Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.

GOLDING
Clarice "Patsy" Golding, 85, of Alexandria, formerly of Amelia, widow of Thomas L. Golding, died May 4, 2002. She is survived by six sons, Ralph and Arvil, both of Mechanicsville, James and Jimmy, both of Chester, Jerry of Richmond, Billy of Keysville; five daughters, Shirley Smith of Marion, Betty Hodge of Powhatan, Janice Dailey of Manassas, Becky Moore of Winston-Salem, N.C., Linda Stepp of Issaquah, Wash.; one sister, Betty Jean Faulkner of Mt. Airy, N.C.; forty grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan, and where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Interment Pine Grove Community Cemetery, Amelia.

HEADLEY
Margaret Headley, 80, died April 30, 2002. PBX member, Sheltering Arms volunteer. Services private, burial Maury Cemetery.

HESTER
Jack Lewis Hester Sr., 82, of Richmond, passed away April 28, 2002. He is survived by one son, Jack L. Hester Jr. of Cary, N.C.; stepson, Robert C. Conroy Sr.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

HICKS
Mrs. Loretta Ann Blunt Hicks of 4817 Berrywood Rd., Virginia Beach, Va., died May 3, 2002. She is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, John W. Hicks; a son, John W. Hicks II; two sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law, five aunts, three uncles, numerous cousins and friends. A memorial will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2002 at Mount Zion A.M.E. HILL
Annie Jones Hill, 71, of New York, died suddenly April 29, 2002 in Richmond and her husband, Eugene Hill, who died in New York. The family will receive friends Saturday at K.L. Jordan Funeral Services, 5008 Nine Mile Rd., where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment at Quantico National Cemetery, with full military honors. Preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. Survived by one son, three brothers, five sisters, one grandchild. Arrangements by K.L. Jordan Funeral Services. Bernard E. (Noone) Johnson Sr. of Richmond departed this life Monday, April 29, 2002. He is survived by his three daughters, Marian Williams, Connie Johnson and Mary Ruth Trotter; four sons, Bernard Jr., Ronnie, and Michael Johnson, and Vernon Stewart; 23 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins, three daughters-in-law, one son-in-law, one sister-in-law, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 6, 1 p.m., Second Baptist Church, 105 E. Pilkington St., Rev. Lawrence Samuels officiating. LEWIS
Alice W. Lewis, 84, of Chesterfield, died after a long illness on May 4, 2002. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett G. Lewis Sr. and a daughter, Barbara Pugh. She is survived by her children, Emmett G. Lewis Jr. and his wife, Ann, Jean L. Chappell and her husband, Phil, and Dennis M. Lewis; grandchildren, Dennis Horn, Tami Cruciotti, Emmett G. Lewis III, Brian Lewis, John Lewis, and Lindsey Chappell; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Evelyn Gentry, Dorothy Long, and Jackie Walker. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday and Monday, and where a funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Interment Maury Cemetery.

MIHALCOE
Andrew Joseph Mihalcoe Sr., 72, of Quinton, born August 23, 1929, died May 2, 2002, at Walter Reed Riverside Hospital in Gloucester, Va. He was the loving father of seven children, Andrew Joseph Jr. "Joe" (Diane) of Lanexa, Va., Susan French of Highland Springs, Va., Mike (Pat) of Sandston, Va., Milly Martin (Michael) of Mechanicsville, Va., Viki Malechek (Wayne) of Charles City, Va., Jill Ray (Richard) of Poulsbo, Wash. and Jimmy (Tammy) of Richmond, Va. He was the loving brother to five siblings, Helen Carlyle of Jamaica, Va., John (Margaret) of Providence Forge, Va., Charles (Linda) of Toana, Va., Miron (Diane) of Prince George, Va., Shirley Johnson (Boyd) of Richmond, Va. He was grandfather of 16 and great-grandfather of one. He led a very adventurous life to include three years in the Navy during the Korean War and is best remembered as a mailman in Quinton for 30 plus years. He was a founding member of Providence Forge Volunteer Fire Department Co. No. 2 and spent 20 years as Scout Master of Boy Scout Troop 562 in Quinton. He also was a member of the VFW, Sertoma, and New Kent Civil Air Patrol. Andrew will be given full honors by area Fire Departments and Honor Guards. Remains will reside at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave. in Henrico. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on May 4 and 5. The procession will depart Nelsen Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. May 6 to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish in Quinton for an 11 a.m. Mass. Interment Washington Memorial Park with reception to follow directly after at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Parish. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to any of the following: Gloucester Volunteer Fire and Rescue; New Kent Fire and Rescue; Boy Scouts of America, Robert E. Lee Council. Andrew was friend to many, father to more than just his own, and Jack of all Trades when he could get a "Round Tuit"! He will be dearly missed by his family, friends and community. Lucille Parrish Myers (Co-Co), 91, of Richmond, departed this life peacefully and in the company of her family Friday, May 3, 2002. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband, William Jackson Myers; and her daughter, Annette Myers Askounis. She is survived by her son, William Franklin Myers and his wife, Cynthia Alice; her grandchildren, William Martin Myers, Charles Thornton Perkins, Venetha Perkins Machock, Theresa Anne Myers, Debra Bickley Wald; sister, Lena Parrish Minor; her devoted nieces and nephews, Philip Allen Minor and his wife, Judy and George Ryland Minor and his wife, Kathy, Mirian McCool Parrish, and Robert R. Parrish; great-niece, Heather Campbell Davis; and nine great-grandchildren; a cousin, Warren Parrish and his wife, Evelyn; and devoted friend, Calvin Lee Maxey. The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Central Chapel of Bennett Funeral Home, 3215 Cutshaw Ave. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2002 in Forest Lawn Cemetery. NORWOOD
Waltharene Henry Norwood (Rennie), on Thursday, May 2, 2002, responded to God's call and peacefully departed to her heavenly home. She was born on November 12, 1945, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to the late Charles and Josephine Edwards Henry. She was raised by her uncle and aunt, the late Rev. Theodore Edwards and Helen H. Edwards. She was employed as a nurse at Cobble Hill Nursing Home in Brooklyn, N.Y. After relocating to Richmond, Va., she was employed as a nurse at McGuire V.A. Hospital until her health failed. She is survived by her devoted daughter, Shenecqua N . Cole (Derrick); son, Erik Norwood; two grandchildren, Shannon White and Derrick Cole II; two sisters, Adronne and Charlene; brothers, Theodist and Antoine. Remains rest at Mimms Funeral Home, 1827 Hull St.. Home going services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2002, Chicago Avenue Baptist Church, 2331 Broad Rock Blvd., Rev. Carolyn D. Clark officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to service. Relatives and friends attending funeral services, assemble at the church Monday, 10:30 a.m.
