Thelma Koger Dillon, 88, of Bassett, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Blue Ridge Rehab in Stuart.
Bassett Funeral Service will announce arrangements.

Carol L. Draper
Carol L. Draper, of Oakdale Street, Martinsville, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.
McKee-Stone Funeral Services will announce arrangements.

Grover V. Dudley
The funeral for Grover Verneeter Dudley, 82, of 304 Third St., Martinsville, who died Nov. 25, 2005, was held Tuesday at Stanfield-Miller Funeral Home. The Rev. James D. Holland officiated. Burial was in Carver Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were Clyde Jones, McKinley Claybrooks, Wayne Dillard, Timothy Morris, Stephen Morris and Daryl Myers.

America Hylton
America Hylton, 82, of 23071 A.L. Philpott Hwy., Spencer, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at Shippenham Hospital in Richmond.
Stanfield-Miller Funeral Home will announce arrangements.

Margaret S. Johnson
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Margaret Spencer Johnson, 84, of 5429 Shattalon Dr., died Nov. 28, 2005.
She was born in Henry County on Oct. 22, 1921, to Robinson Johnson and Sophia Penn Johnson. She was a member of Stateline Primitive Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Surviving are a son, Burton Spencer of West Virginia; three daughters, Eva King of Winston-Salem, Nancy Trigg of Detroit, Mich. and Margaret Reynolds of Patrick Springs, Va.; and several grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon on Thursday at the Johnson family cemetery in Patrick Springs, Va.
Arrangements are by Perry-Spencer Funeral Home in Madison.

Lovelean M. Lewis
The funeral for Lovelean Merchant Lewis, 82, of Ridgeway, who died Nov. 27, 2005, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2005, at First Baptist Church Harlem Heights, Oak Hill, W. Va. Pastor Joseph J. Mayo will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens, Beckley, W. Va.
She was born in Minden, W. Va. on Aug. 16, 1923, to Clarence Merchant and Hattie Merchant.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Lewis.
She was a resident of West Virginia and Virginia for many years. She retired from Bassett Furniture Industries and was a member of The Paradise Temple Church in Ridgeway.
Surviving are six sisters, Reather Lee Thomas and Ada Holden, both of Orange, N.J., Rose Jennings of Newark, N.J., Lorraine Rumph and Ethel James, both of Akron, Ohio and Mattie Walls of Brooklyn, N.Y.
The family will receive friends at the church for one hour before the service Saturday and other times at Ritchie and Johnson Funeral Home, 784 Fayette St., Beckley, W. Va.

Norman O. Lewis
The funeral for Norman Oakley Lewis, 84, of Martinsville, who died Nov. 25, 2005, was held Tuesday at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church with the Rev. Dr. Philip Waltz officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers were Jan Pratt, Eugene Jones, George Gusler, Harry Little, Ray Martin, David Rice, Leonard Craig, Lynwood Gusler, Kimmy Nester, Gene Stowe, Clay Watlington and Jimmy Evans.
McKee-Stone Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.

Ocie I. McGhee
The funeral for Ocie Ingram McGhee, 92, of Collinsville, who died Nov. 25, 2005, was held Tuesday at Stone Memorial Christian Church with Minister Lawrence Harris officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Stone, Milford Witt, Chester Moore, Jim Ingram, Mike Hall, Richard Shell, Steve Purdy and Chad McGhee.
Norris Funeral Services and Crematory was in charge of arrangements.

Richard E. Meadows
Richard Eugene Meadows, 64, of Spencer, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at his home.
Arrangements will be announced by Roselawn Chapel Funeral Home.

Clarence J. Stultz
WINCHESTER -- Clarence James "C.J." Stultz, 76, of Winchester, died Nov. 24, 2005, at his home.
He was born in Martinsville on Nov. 1, 1929, to John T. Stultz and Bessie M. Stultz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael James Stultz.
He served in the Armed Forces during World War II and graduated from Indiana Technical College in Fort Wayne, Ind. He worked for 35 years for Melpar/E-Systems, now Raytheon, in the engineering department.
He was a member of Isaak Walton League, Winchester Chapter and the NRA.
Surviving are his wife, Sharon Stultz; three daughters, Mary E. McIntosh and Sarah L. Ammann, both of Purcellville and Amy Windle of Round Hill; a sister, Frances Smart of Martinsville; a brother, Jack I. Stultz of Martinsville; and 10 grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Purcellville Baptist Church with the Pastor Kurt Bowman officiating. Burial will be in Culpeper National Cemetery at a later date.
Memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, Va. 22601.
Arrangements are by Hall Funeral Home in Purcellville.

William D. Turner Sr.
William David Turner Sr., 62, of 162 Monta-Vista Drive, Bassett, died of complications from congestive heart failure on Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at Memorial Hospital in Martinsville.
He was born Nov. 19, 1943, in Henry County, to Richard Dewey Turner Sr. and Alphia Hutcherson Turner. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Eloise Turner; grandparents, William and Mary Hutcherson and John and Mary Turner; two sisters, Geneva T. Johnson and Dorothy Turner; two brothers, Richard Lee Turner and James Turner; and a granddaughter.
He served with the Army in Vietnam, was a life member of the VFW and a member of the Vietnam Black Cats Association. Turner worked at the former Martin Processing for 19 years. He was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith.
Surviving are his wife, Shelby Rorrer Turner of the home; a daughter, Candace T. Bailey of Figsboro; three sons, William D. Turner Jr. of Bassett, Christopher M. Turner of Fieldale and Matt J. Turner of Collinsville; four sisters, Elizabeth T. Biggs of Martinsville, Pauline T. Norman of Collinsville, Gladys T. Harmon of Ayer, Mass. and Shirley T. Mason of Axton; two brothers, Richard Dewey Turner Jr. of Collinsville and Hobart Carlyle Turner of Cascade; and five grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Norris Funeral Services chapel with the Revs. Roger Jones and Bud Sedwick officiating. Burial will be in Henry Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and other times at the home.

Geneva A. Barker
The funeral for Geneva A. Barker, 94, of Valley Drive, Fieldale, who died Nov. 27, 2005, was held Wednesday at Collins Funeral chapel with the Rev. Bobby Rakes officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Burial Park.
Pallbearers were Butch Blackwell, Phillip Barker, Keith Barker, Doug Barker, Scott Barker, Kevin Barker, Timmie Hylton and Elmer Hagood.
