Departed this life November 25, 2001, Andre J. Bodrick "Mack", of 3208 North Ave. He is survived by his wife, Beverly; devoted mother, Gracie Mae Bodrick; father, Curtis Jones of Louisville, Ky.; brother, Michael Bodrick (Vernelle); sisters, Yolanda Hickman (James), Towanna Lewis (Donald) and Tameka Bodrick; godson, Andre Sewell; best friend, Randy Chalmers; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. His remains rest at the W.S. Watkins & Son Funeral Home, 2700 North Ave. After 10 a.m. Friday, his remains will rest at Hood Temple A.M.E. Zion Church, where funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Kevin McGill officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery.

BROWN
Julia Bland Brown, 95, of Warsaw, died on Tuesday, November 27, 2001. Mrs. Brown was the widow of John Kenneth Brown and a member of Cobham Park Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Betty B. Scott and Doris B. Daiger, both of Warsaw; four grandchildren, Mark Scott, Julie Bilodeau, Matthew Scott and John Scott; three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel and Kyle Bilodeau and "J.T." Scott. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 30, at Cobham Park Baptist Church. Burial in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at the Welch-Marks Funeral Home, 10300 Richmond Rd., Warsaw. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cobham Park Cemetery Fund, 1617 Wellfords Wharf Road, Warsaw, Va. 22572.

BRYANT
Hazel Redford Grady Bryant, age 87, died Wednesday, November 28, 2001. She had been a resident at Lucy Corr Village for two years. She was the daughter of Thomas M. and Josephine Mann Redford and was born in Richmond on September 30, 1914. She is survived by two sons, Ellis B. Grady Jr. and his wife, Pattie, and Donald G. Bryant and his wife, Annette; two grandchildren, Ellis B. Grady III and his wife, Sandy and Kimberlee G. Ames and her husband, Mark; two great-grandsons, Dixon Alexander Ames and Stefan Carter Ames; and one stepgreat-grandson, Web Browning. The family will receive friends at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., on Friday, November 30, from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, Va. 23058-5216; Lucy Corr Village, 6800 Lucy Corr Court, P.O. CARNEAL
Herell Wood Carneal Sr., 81, of Ashland, died November 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Carneal; son, H.W. Carneal Jr. and his wife, Debbie; daughter, Patricia Westbrook; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Carneal served in the U.S. Army during WWII and retired from the Henrico County School Board as a paint foreman. His remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Staples Mill Chapel, 8510 Staples Mill Rd., where the family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and where funeral serivces will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.

CONDREY
Wilson B. Condrey, 86, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November 28, 2001. He is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Jean C. Condrey; daughters, Kay C. Wilson of Sandston, Mary C. Harr of North Carolina and Brenda C. Gray of Chesterfield; sons, Donald W. Condrey of North Carolina and Kenneth W. Condrey of Chesterfield; brother, Bailey L. Condrey and his wife, Sally of Virginia Beach; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mr. Condrey was a retired shop superintendent with VDOT. His family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Morrissett Funeral Home, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). His funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Interment Maury Cemetery.

CREECH
Mr. John Willis Creech, 83, of Snow Hill, N.C., passed away Wednesday morning after suffering a stroke. Mr. Creech was a native of Greene County, born the son of the late Henry Thomas and Florence Croom Creech. Prior to retirement, he owned and operated Creech's Exxon for more than 40 years and had served as a Town Commissioner. He was a member of Radiance Lodge No. 132 where he was a 50 year Mason. He was also a Shriner and a member of the Snow Hill Moose Lodge. Mr. Creech was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church where he had served on the Adminsitrative and Finiance Boards. He will be rememebred as a kind person with an outgoing personality who enjoyed the fellowship of friends, the love of family and was happiest when surrounded by both at his summer home at Atlantic Beach. Mr. Creech is survived by his beloved wife, Lillie Mae Harrison Creech; a daughter, Alice Creech Tilghman and her husband, Richard of Richmond, Va.; granddaughters, Elizabeth Arrington Tilghman of Richmond and Caroline Tilghman of New York, N.Y.; a brother, Harry Thomas Creech of Snow Hill; and a special niece, Emily Harrison Baker and husband, Lonnie of Snow Hill. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2001, at Calvary Memorial United Methodist Church with the Reverend Claire Clyburn officiating. Interment will follow in the Snow Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday at Taylor-Edwards Funeral Home, 117 NW Third St., Snow Hill, N.C. and other times at the residence. Departed this life November 24, 2001, Mrs. Christine Spurlock Farmer of 1610 Georgia Ave. She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Farmer. She is survived by one granddaughter, Sandra S. Friend; one grandson, Jason Griffin; one brother, Russell Spurlock Sr.; several nieces, nephews and cousins; grandson-in-law, Isaac Friend Jr.; one sister-in-law, Gladys Spurlock; and other relatives and friends, among them godson, Walter Johnson and devoted, Golden Shelton Phillips. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Ave. Funeral Friday, 1 p.m. Fifth Baptist Church, 1415 W. Cary Street, where remains will lie in state one hour prior funeral time. FAULCONER
Irene "Inky" Hutchins Faulconer, 82, passed away November 28, 2001. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Faulconer Marrin and her late son-in-law, Edward Reeves Marrin Jr.; and her son, Richard Dean Faulconer and his wife, Joanna; two brothers, Carl "Piggy" Hutchins and Ernest "Sonny"; her former husband, Oscar Leonard Faulconer; four granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth Marrin Selby, Melissa Marrin Lohss, Dina Faulconer Hamilton, Anne Marie Marrin and Elise Mallory Faulconer; two grandsons, Edward Reeves Marrin III and Rory Faulconer; five great-grandchildren, Taylor Ann Marrin, Henry Stewart Hamilton IV, Tyler Daniel Lohss, Samuel Edward Selby and Erin Elizabeth Marrin Selby; a number of nieces and nephews; and a devoted friend, Amy Bell. She was preceded in death by her sister, Doris Hutchins Murray; and her brother, Wilbur Harold Hutchins; a friend, James Berry. Mrs. Faulconer was retired from Signet Bank after many years of service. Arrangements by Parham Chapel of Woody Funeral Home.

A memorial service will be conducted for G. Lowell Francis 11 a.m., Saturday, December 1, 2001, at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church, 9155 Hungary Rd., Richmond. He is survived by his sisters, Lois Merchant, Amelia, Mary Stroud, Norfolk; brother, Paul Francis, Glen Allen. FRANK
Jerome C. Frank of Richmond departed this life in McGuire Veterans Hospital Monday, November 26, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Frank; one daughter, Tasha Frank; one son, Tony Frank; two grandchildren; mother, Blanche Frank; stepfather, Leonard Frank; four sisters, Beverly Hayes, Brenda Lewis, Deborah Frank and Alma Murphy; mother and father-in-law, one daughter-in-law, one son-in-law, two sisters-in-law, four brothers-in-law, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Sts., where funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 12 noon. Irwin Lewis officiating. GILL
Erwin Stiff Gill Jr., born May 21, 1918, of Mechanicsville, Va., passed away November 28, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Velda; two daughters, Carol Spangler and Mary Taylor; two stepsons, Robert and Charles Trimmer; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was a veteran of WWII and retired as a major from the Army National Guard. He retired as a vice president of Hargrove Insurance Agency in 1983. A burial service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Saturday, Decemebr 1, 2001 at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Brook Hill, 1214 Wilmer Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations to Virginia Voice, P.O. Box 15546, Richmond, Va. 23227.

GLOVER
Price Perkins Glover, 83, died on November 23, 2001 of cancer. Beloved husband of Isobel, loving father of Jonathan and Julie, and devoted brother of Dorothy Johns of Farmville. A long time resident of New York City, he was born in Arvonia, Va. to Dr. Perkins and Mable Pitts Glover. Price was a pilot both in the Navy and for 35 years with Pan American Airways. A respected collector of American furniture and the English decorative arts, he founded his antique shop in 1971. A memorial service will be held at The Brick Church, 1140 Park Ave., New York, N.Y. at 4 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2001. William L. Goode of Powhatan departed this life Monday, November 26, 2001. He is survived by his wife, Connie Goode; son, William Linwood Goode Jr.; daughter, Brigette Marie Goode; parents, Mattie G. Moore and Lee Johnson Sr.; stepmother, Patricia Johnson; stepfather, Sidney Moore Sr.; brothers, Levi Payne, Tony Payne, Gary Payne, Lorenzo Goode, Steve Goode, Donald Goode, Melvin Goode, Lee Johnson Jr., Kevin Johnson, Stefan Johnson, Anthony Johnson and Ron Johnson; sisters, Judy Cox, Patricia Woodson and Stephanie Scott; a host of nieces and nephews; aunt, Eunice Lane; two aunts-in-law; two uncles-in-law; 13 sisters-in-law, eight brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Mimms Funeral Home, 19th and Hull Streets. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2:30 p.m., Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Powhatan County, Rev. Revell Hicks, pastor, officiating. Interment church cemetery. Remains will rest in church one hour prior to services. GOODWIN
Mrs. Shirley D. Goodwin, 67, of Richmond, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2001. She was the widow of Henry "Hank" Goodwin Jr. and is survived by her four children, Diane Goodwin and her husband, Scott Bradbury, Kathy Smith, Karen Cox and her husband, Bill, and Henry "Trey" M. Goodwin III; her special sister-in-law, Charlotte Gabbard; her seven grandchildren, Alex Webb, Kody Bradbury, Summer, Shelby and Leah Smith, Chavis Fore and Kyle Cox; and her twin great-granddaughters, Savannah and Madison. Her remains rest at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd,. where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday and where funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Friday. Interment to follow in Maury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Forest View Vol. Rescue Squad.

GUNTER
Elmer York Gunter of Dillwyn, died November 28, 2001. Born May 1, 1928 in Buckingham County, son of the late Leslie P. and Jessie L. Gunter. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Louise M. Gunter; four children, Perry W. Gunter, Donnie Gunter and Charmagne Gunter, all of Dillwyn and Dale Gunter of Madison Heights; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Also two sisters, Mary G. Wharam of Portsmouth and Mabel G. Jenks of Green Bay, Wis.; two brothers, E. Jack Gunter of New Canton and John G. Gunter of Dillwyn. Preceded in death by four sisters, Kathleen Warren, Eloise Overstreet, Lucille Childress and Addie Bland; and a brother, Neil Gunter. Mr. Gunter was a retired employee of Buckingham County. Remains rest at Dunkum Funeral Home, Dillwyn, where services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Dillwyn Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Dillwyn Rescue Squad and the Hospice of the Piedmont.

GUTKIN
Roslyn Gutkin, 78, formerly of Great Neck, N.Y., passed away November 27, 2001. She was the widow of Abraham Gutkin. She is survived by her son and his wife, Harvey and Joanne Gutkin of Richmond; two grandchildren, Amy and Ian; two nieces, Linda Schreiber and Wendy Hemler; and one nephew, Edward Ormont. Funeral services will be held on Friday in New York. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.

HART
Mr. Harris Hart II, age 73, of Tazewell, Virginia, died Wednesday morning, November 28, 2001 at Tazewell Community Hospital. Born April 13, 1928 in Richmond, he was the son of the late Harris and Mayola Gillespie Hart of Tazewell and Richmond. Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Olivia Hart Harrison; and a special uncle, William M. Gillespie. A lawyer and farmer in Tazewell for 46 years, he is survived by his wife, Mary Gail Walker Hart of Tazewell; two sons, Harris Hart III and Charles Walker Hart, both of Tazewell; and a daughter, Dr. Florence Hart Mogen of Radford. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 30, 2001 at 2 p.m. at the Tazewell Presbyterian Church, with graveside service following at Maplewood Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 29, 2001 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Peery & St. Clair Funeral Home in Tazewell, Virginia.

Robert Henry Jefferson of Richmond departed this life November 27, 2001 at home. He is survived by his wife, Thelma; a daughter, Gloria J. McCowin; a son-in-law, Norman C. McCowin; three grandchildren, Norma, Norman Jr. and Jessica McCowin; a great-grandson, Jonathan Pryor; five stepchildren, Jimmy, Harrison, and Pamela Poole, Delores and Vanessa Robinson; a cousin, Ronald Jones; a niece, Rebecca Brooks; a stepgranddaughter, Latricia Poole; a stepgrandson, Keyron Poole; other relatives and friends. KEY
Elizabeth Vaughn Key, 90, died Tuesday, November 27, 2001 in Richmond, Va. She was born and reared in Amelia County and moved to Richmond in 1946. She retired from Sears Roebuck in 1973. Mrs. Key was a member of Woodland Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. W. Wayne Key Jr. of Richmond; two grandsons, Steven V. Key of Alexandria, Va and James S. Key of Richmond; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Jane Key of Alexandria. A graveside service will be held at Arbor Baptist Church, 13701 Butlers Road, Amelia, Va. at 11 a.m. on Friday. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Bliley Funeral Home's Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd. LAURITZEN
Paul R. Lauritzen, a retired Richmond automobile dealer, died Monday, November 26, 2001 in Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va. He was 95 years old. Born in Chicago, Ill. on August 17, 1906, Mr. Lauritzen held a Ph.D. in business and finance from the University of Chicago. He began his career in the automobile business in the 1930's with Ford Motor Company. In 1942, he moved to Richmond with his wife, the late Elizabeth Kirk Lauritzen, where he became the founder and president of Lauritzen Motors, Inc. As his business grew, he became active in the industry's professional association at the state and national levels. He served as president of the Virginia Automobile Dealers Association (VADA) after many years of serving on its board of directors. He was later elected to the board of directors of the National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA), representing Virginia. He served in that capacity for nine years. During his tenure on the NADA board, the pricing sticker on new cars was made mandatory across the United States, an accomplishment of which he was very proud. He felt the automobile buyer should have as much information as possible before purchasing a big-ticket item such as a car. After retirement he traveled extensively, visiting more than 64 countries. Mr. Lauritzen was a resident of Gloucester County since 1956. he is survived by a daughter, Paula Lauritzen Delo of Alexandria, Va.; two granddaughters, Elizabeth W. Delo of Alexandria and Katharine Delo Gregg of Portland, Ore.; and two sons-in-law. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 11 a.m. in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond. The family will receive friends at Andrews Funeral Home on Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. Andrews Funeral Home, Gloucester, is in charge of arrangements.
