Phyllis Ann Lincoln 68
Phyllis Ann Lincoln, 68, of Colonial Beach died Sunday, July 16, 2000, at her home.
Born in Fauquier County, Mrs. Lincoln was a former Morrisville, Va. resident. She was a retired bookkeeper for J.E. Hurley & Co. in Hyattsville, Md. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in Bealton, Va., and of the American Legion in Indian Head, Md. She was also a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary in Waldorf, Md.; Marine Corps League in Indian Head, Md.; VFW National Home in Eaton Rapids, Mich.; Women of the Moose in Vienna, Va.; and Women's Auxiliary to the military Order of the Cootie. In addition, she was a charter member of the Colonial Beach Museum.
Her survivors include her husband, Frank E. Lincoln, Jr.; three daughters, Belinda Leapley of Newberg, Md.,Darleen Tulin of Waldorf, Md., and Deanna Lee of Spotsylvania; three sons, Steve Lawrey of Port Tobacco, Md., David McBroom of Culpeper and Frank E. Lincoln III of Glen Burnie, Md.; two sisters, Doris Day of Vienna, and Joan Crisp of Spotsylvania; a brother, Mitchell Jacobs of Sumerduck; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held Thursday, July 20, at Arehart Funeral Home in LaPlata, Md. Burial was in Trinity Memorial Garden in Waldorf.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society, Box 911, Dahlgren, Va. 22448; or VFW National Home for Children, 3573 South Waverly Rd., Eaton Rapids, Mich., 2248827.

Peggy C. Rowzee 66
Peggy C. Rowzee, 66, of Colonial Beach died Wednesday, July 19, 2000, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Pulaski, Tenn., Mrs. Rowzee was a former McLean resident. She was a legal secretary and a member of the Potomac River Yacht Club.
She is survived by her husband, George M. Rowzee; a daughter, Pamela Rowzee Clem of Sterling; a son, Steven G. Rowzee of Fredericksburg; and six grandchildren.
A funeral was held Saturday, July 22, at the home of David and Annette Comer in Colonial Beach.
Nash & Slaw Funeral Home in Colonial Beach handled the arrangements.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to MediCorp Foundation Palliative Care Unit, Box 1598, Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.

Grace Baldwin Comley 69
Grace Baldwin Comley, 69, of King George County died at her residence Saturday, July 29, 2000, from complications of multiple sclerosis.
Born in Washington, Mrs. Comley had retired as an operator for the C&P Telephone Company.
Survivors include her husband, George R. Comley; three daughters, Reita M. Richmond, Peggy A. Nunez and June I. Lewis; two sisters, Jean Groves and Ann Johnson; a brother, George Wadlington; and three grandchildren.
Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, handled the funeral arrangements, which will be private.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mary Washington Hospice, 2217 Princess Anne St., Suite 002-1, Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.

Edith Doughty Morrison 91
A memorial service for Edith Doughty Morrison, 91, of King George County was be held at the Dahlgren Base Chapel. Chaplain Barbara Marshall officiated.
Mrs. Morrison died Tuesday, June 13, 2000, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Her survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, George S. and Audrey Morrison of KIng George, with whom she made her home; a grandson; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was the widow of George S. Morrison Jr.

Sarah V. Harris 72
A funeral for Sarah V. Harris, 72, of Dahlgren was held Monday, July 31, 2000, at Little Ark Baptist Church, Owens. The Rev. Ben Jones officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Harris died at her residence Tuesday, July 25, 2000, after a long illness.
Born at Edgehill, she was a member of Little Ark Baptist Church and was the widow of Theodore Harris.
Survivors include three daughters, Patricia Pryor of Owens, Deborah Brooks of Dahlgren and Delarese Hemsley of King George; four sons, Theodore Harris Jr. and Carl Harris, both of King George County, Bernard Harris and Kelvin Harris, both of Dahlgren; two sisters, Irma Jackson of Owens and Alberta Tyler of Colorado; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two stepgreat-grandchildren.

Alice Mary Bowman 60
Alice Mary Bowman, 60, of Sealston died Monday, July 24, 2000, at the Medical College of Virginia Hospital in Richmond .
Born in Elkins City, Md., she was employed as a maid at Potomac Pointe.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence H, Bowman; a daughter, Betty Ann Junkins of Colonial Beach; a son, Clarence H. Bowman Jr. of Lexington, N.C.; five sisters, Cora Minor of Indiana, Rosie Samuels of Colonial Beach, Dorothy Rachels of Illinois,and Frances Whaling and Virgie Whaling, both of King George; four brothers, Henry Sullivan of Oklahoma, Calvin Sullivan of Maryland, Jerry Sullivan of Indiana and William Sullivan of West Virginia; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Edith Frazer Lee 85
Edith Frazer Lee, 85, of Troy N.Y., died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Heritage House Nursing Center in Troy. She was the widow of George Lee, formerly of King George County.
Formerly of Arlington, Mrs. Lee was a member of Memorial Baptist Church there for over 50 years. She worked as a clerk with the United States Department of Labor during World War II and then as a dental assistant in the Washington area.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Lee Warden of Troy; and one grandson.
A funeral was held Thursday, July 27, at Shiloh Baptist Church in King George. The Rev. Bill Bragdon officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Memorial Baptist Church Foundation, 3455 N. Glebe Rosd, Arlington, Va. 22207; or to a favorite charity.

John Elvin Morgan 38
John Elvin Morgan, 38, of King George County died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Mary Washington Hospital.
A Fairfax resident, Mr. Morgan was an auto parts delivery driver for Inside Auto Parts in Mineral. He was a member of Indian Acres Club of Thornburg and a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Fredericksburg.
His survivors include his wife, Peggy E.R. Morgan; his mother, Margie Keens of King George; a stepfather, Robert Keens of Manassas; two brothers, Ronnie Morgan of Winchester and Dave Morgan of King George; and two nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held today(Wednesday, July 26) at Nash & Slaw Funeral Home in King George. The Rev. Steve Siegrist officiated and burial was in the Jackson family cemetery in Oak Grove.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mary Washington Hospital, 1001 Sam Perry Blvd., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401.

Joe Hollick 60
Joseph William "Joe" Hollick, 60, of King George County died Monday, July 17, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Hollick formerly was a machinist with Alfa-Laval Co. in Warminster, Pa. He volunteered at Mary Washington Hospital.
Survivors include two sons, Joseph Wallace Hollick of Hartwood in Stafford County and William Brian Hollick of Pine Plains, N.Y.; and nine grandchildren.
A graveside service was held at Historyland Memorial Park in King George.
Nash & Slaw Funeral Home in KIng George handled the arrangements.

Debra Dean Croisetiere 47 years
Debra Dean Croisetiere, 47, of King George died of a brain aneurysm Tuesday, July 18, 2000, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Born in Bellville, Ill., Mrs. Croisyiere was a medical receptionist for a private medical practice. She was a 1971 graduate of Bluefield High School and attended Concord College, both in West Virginia. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her husband, Leo R. Croisetiere; a daughter, Lori McDermott of New York City; two sons, Leo R. Croisetiere III and Kenneth S. Croisetiere, both of King George; her father, Kenneth Dick of Bluefield, W.Va.; three sisters, Raejean Harman of Tazewell, Valerie Hutchinson of Princeton, W.Va., and Cindy Powell of Bluefield; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral was held Friday, July 21, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. The Rev. Bill Bates officiated and burial was in Historyland Memorial Park in King George.

Lewis Knable 73
Lewis C. "Lew" Knable, 73, of King George County died Saturday, July 15, 2000, at Virginia Medical Center in Richmond.
Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Knable was a manager of Interstate Texaco in Fredericksburg, an Army veteran and an avid fisherman and hunter. He attended Mountain View Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy "Chappell" Knable; a daughter, Patsy Mills of Hagerstown, Md., a brother, Joe Knable of Hagerstown, Md., 13 stepchildren, 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral will be held Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Leroy Tennison officating.
The family will receive friends an hour before the service at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to Mary Washington Hospice, 2217 Princess Anne St., Fredericksburg, Va. 22401, or to the charity of your choice.
