Shawn Hall, age 33, died Wednesday, Nov. 19, 1997 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Heath Hall of Marion; two sons, Aaron Christopher Hall and Jonathon Paige Hall, both of Marion; his parents, Grant and Olivene Hall of Marion; his grandmother, Clara Woods Hall of Marion; two sisters and brother-in-law, Cindy and Andy Cox, and Mandy Hall, all of Marion; two brothers and sisters-in-law, David and Sandy Hall of Kodak, Tenn., Grant Jr. and Pam Hall of Marion; his mother- and father-in-law, Bill and Linda Heath of Marion; two sisters-in-law, Tammy Blankenship of Narrows, and Crystal Heath of Oceanside, Calif.; one brother-in-law, James Heath of Marion; five nieces: Jessica Hall, Crystal Hall, Olivia Bailey, McKayla Heath and Bryanna Heath; seven nephews: Jacob Hall, Justin Hall, Ryan Cox, Jordan Bailey, Christian Wilkins, Jackson Blankenship and McKensie Heath.
Funeral services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-
Brown Chapel with the Rev. Charlie Harkleroad officiating. Burial followed in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Washington County Rescue Squad or the Marion Life Saving Crew.

Huffman
Walter Huffman Jr., age 70, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He was a retired Smyth County farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth Dunn Huffman; one son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Crystal Huffman, Marion; two daughters and son-in-law, Faye and Donald Kimberlin, Rich Valley, and Carolyn Huffman, Marion; four brothers, Lawrence Huffman, Lundey Huffman, R.C. Huffman and Earl Huffman, all of Martinsville; two sisters, Rachael Johnston and Mabel Ellis, both of Martinsville; five grandchildren: T.J., Matthew and Janie Huffman and Darrell and Stewart Kimberlin; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 22, in D.R. Henderson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bob Briggs officiating. Burial will be in Elizabeth Cemetery.

Stephens
Charles Orrin Stephens, age 92, died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997 in Smyth County Community Hospital.
Mr. Stephens was born in Ashe County, N.C. He was a resident of Sugar Grove since 1928 and was a resident of Francis Marion Manor for the past two years. He was a member of the Sugar Grove Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Grubb Stephens.
He is survived by two sons, Donald W. Stephens of Bristol, Tenn., and Ancil V. Stephens of Marion; two sisters, Minnie Seatz of Todd, N.C., and Faye Stephens of Lenoir, N.C.; two brothers, Junior Stephens of Texas, and Jay Stephens of Maryland; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Nov. 20, at 8 p.m. at Seaver-
Brown Chapel with the Rev. Kenny Price officiating. Graveside services were held Friday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. at the Stephens Family Cemetery in Todd, N.C., with the Rev. Tim Boyette officiating.

Beaver
William Roy Beaver, 92, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997 at his home in Christiansburg. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Wassum Beaver.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, James Ronald and Tracy Beaver of Dublin; one daughter and son-in-law, Beverly and Asbury McNeer of Richmond; one sister, Margaret Whitley of Virginia Beach; five grandchildren: David and Stephen McNeer, Greg, Mark and Gail Beaver.
Private graveside services were held at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Marion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Pulaski County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 368, Dublin, VA 24084.

Goodman
Alma Aliff Goodman, 81, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997 at the Francis Marion Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Goodman was preceded in death by her husband, Tom Goodman and her mother, Mattie Hylton.
Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Eugene and Peggy S. Goodman, Marion; three daughters, Peggy G. Dean, Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Martin, and Mrs. Allan (Tammy) Winebarger, all of Marion; seven grandchildren: Alan Dean, Blacksburg, Mark Dean, David T. Martin, Theressa Johnson, Kim Miller and Christy Winebarger, all of Marion, Eric Winebarger, Active Duty, U.S. Navy, Great Lakes, Ill.; eight great-grandchildren, all of Marion.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, in Barnett's Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Neville Mozingo, Rev. Carol Ferguson, and Dr. Bill Slater officiating. Graveside services were held Monday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. at the Laurel Springs Cemetery.

Helton
Oliver S. Helton, 79, died Monday, Nov. 24, 1997 in Smyth County Community Hospital. He was of the Christian faith.
Mr. Helton was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Wesley Helton and Kyle Helton, and one sister, Gladys Helton.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Davidson Helton of Marion; two daughters, Connie Sue Cullop and Jo Ann Clark, both of Marion; one granddaughter, Penny Everett and husband Gary of Christiansburg; several nieces, nephews and extended friends at Francis Marion Manor.
Funeral services will be held today, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at Seaver-
Brown Chapel with Pastor James H. Bangle and the Rev. Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Rose Cemetery in Glade Spring. The family will receive friends today from 1 to 2 p.m. at Seaver-

Richard C. (R.C.) Jenkins, 72, died Friday, Nov. 21, 1997 at his home in Mountain City, Tenn. He was a native of
Johnson County, a son of the late Maynard and Ettie Church Jenkins.
Mr. Jenkins was retired from General Motors Corporation and was a member of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife, Opal B. Jenkins, of the home; two sons, Richard (Dickie) Jenkins, Mountain City, Tenn., and Maynard Jenkins, Elizabethton, Tenn.; two daughters, Tammy Hart, Mountain City, Tenn., and Mary Morris, Butler, Tenn.; one brother, Wiley Jenkins, Laurel Bloomery, Tenn.; four sisters, Hazel Webb, Rising Sun, Md., Bessie Lee Moretz, and Kate Wilcox, both of Bristol, and Pearl Shupe, Marion; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, in the Henson Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Frank Woods officiating. Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, at the Reece Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the

Florence McClure Love, 91, died Thursday, Nov. 20, 1997 at her home in Chilhowie.
She was the widow of Charles William Love Sr., and a member of the Mountain View United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles William Love Jr., Cartersville, Ga.; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Betty Jo) Crenshaw, Knoxville, Tenn.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.
