Ida D. Marion
BLOUNTVILLE -- Ida Dale Marion, of Brookside Highway 126, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, at her home.
She was a native of Dacaturville, Tenn., and had lived in Blountville most of her life.
She was a member of Blountville United Methodist Church and a former employee of J. Fred Johnson.
After retiring, she and her husband owned and operated Brookside Antiques.
She was also one of the founders and the first president of East Tennessee Antique Dealers Association.
She was the widow of Dale Marion.
Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca Forbes, Savannah, Ga.; two sons, Dale Anthony Marion, Blountville, and Kenneth Andrew Marion, Bristol, Tennessee; one brother, Billy M. Tate, Leawood, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Hamlett-Dobson Funeral Home, Kingsport, is in charge.

Tilda D. Mullins
HONAKER -- Tilda Delphia Fuller Mullins, 96, of Route 2, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997, in Johnston Memorial Hospital.
She was the widow of Kedric Mullins.
She was a native of Dickenson County and had lived in the Tivis Community for more than 70 years. She had lived with her daughter for the past several years.
She was a former teacher and postmaster at Tivis for 17 years.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Edmond (Lillian) Beverly, Abingdon, and Mrs. Leonard (Eileen) Branham, Honaker; two grandchildren, John Beverly and Dianna Pruitt; and five great-grandchildren, Justin, Bradley and Allison Beverly, and Joshua and Johnathan Pruitt.
Haysi Funeral Home is in charge.

Scott D. Penley
Scott Dean Penley, 46, of 228 Eula Private Drive, Bristol, Tenn., died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, from injuries received in an automobile accident.
He was a U. S. Army veteran of the Vietname War.
Survivors include two daughters, Falon Star Duston and Amber Lane Duston, both of Kingsport; one foster daughter, Angela Penley; two sons, Brandon Lee Duston, Kingsport, and Eric Scott Penley, Bulls Gap; his mother, Pauline D. Hite, Bristol, Virginia; three sisters, Sue Ellis, Ann Balthis, Donna Penley Harr, all of Bristol; six brothers, Pee Wee Penley, Frank Penley, Bud Penley, Mike Penley, Billy Penley and Bobby Penley; and several nieces and nephews.
Weaver Funeral Home is in charge.

Pauline H. Profit
CEDAR BLUFF -- Mrs. Pauline Hess Profit, 87, of the College Estates section of Tazewell County, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, in a Lebanon, Va., hospital.
She was a native of Russell County and was of the Freewill Baptist faith.
She was the widow of Kyle Profit Sr.
Survivors include three sons, Lewis Profit, Cedar Bluff, Glenn Profit, Hansonville, Va., and Kyle "Joe" Profit Jr., Wardell, Va.; one half-sister, Mrs. Angie Stump, Radford; one half-brother, Gip Hess, Kingsport; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Singleton Funeral Service, Cedar Bluff, is in charge.

Eunice V. Quillen
PULASKI, Va. -- Eunice Virginia P. Quillen, 91, of 212 Dora Highway, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, in Pulaski Community Hospital.
She was a native of Smyth County in Seven Mile Ford.
She was a retired nurse at Fork Union in Baltimore, Md.
She was the widow of Dwight S. Quillen.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
Survivors include one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruth Thomas, Marion; one sister, Mrs. Stella Ryburn, Macon, Ga.; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Stevens Funeral Home, Pulaski, Va., is in charge.

Margaret M. Scott
MARION -- Margaret M. Scott, 75, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, in Valley Health Care Center, Chilhowie.
She was the widow of Lucian Scott.
Survivors include two daughters, Mildred Teaters of Marion, and Irene Mitchell, of Marion and Abingdon; one son, Fred Scott, Abingdon; three sisters, Pauline Ward, Marion, Helen Lightner, Hagerstown, Md., and Elsie Evans, Groseclose, Va.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Flora E. Smallwood
FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. -- Flora Ellen Smallwood, 96, died Saturday, Jan. 18, 1997.
She was a native of Virginia and manager of a textile mill.
She was a member of Simms Avenue Baptist Church in Richmond, and Roan Avenue Baptist Church, Johnson City.
Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Throckmorton, Buford, Ga., nine grandchildren, Margaret Ellen Nolan-Cox, Duluth, Ga., Jerry Lynn Throckmorton, Sanford, Fla., William Spurgeon Pridemore, Armada, Mich., Hugh Franklin Pridemore, Lapeer, Mich., Brenda Gail Ennis, Christmas, Fla., Jefferey "Rusty" Allen Smallwood, Kissamee, Fla., Carolyn Miller Long, Johnson City, Tenn., Diana Miller Cox, Windsor Locke, Conn., Julia Anne Miller Goff, Hampton, Va.; 18 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel Funeral Home, Norcross, Ga., is in charge.

Ruth S. Smith
GRUNDY -- Ruth Steele Smith, 67, of Route 1, died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, in Holston Valley Medical Center, Kingsport.
She was the widow of Leo H. Smith.
She was a native of Yukon, W.Va. and a member of the Grundy Church of Christ.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Billy (Frances) Stiltner, Daytona Beach, Fla.; and three brothers, Ralph E. Steele, Haysi, Bob Lee Steele, Vansant, and Donald R. Steele, Daytona Beach.
Grundy Funeral Home is in charge.

Michael W. Steward
MACON, Ga. -- Michael W. Steward, 37, died Thursday, Jan. 16, 1997, in Wichita, Kan.
He was a resident of Peninsula from 1966 to 1987.
He worked as a regional manager with Combined Insurance Co. in Atlanta, Ga.
He was a member of Denbigh Boulevard Church of Christ.
He was a 1977 graduate of Menchville High School and received a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee in 1983.
Survivors include his wife, Janet Elaine Steward; his parents, Jerry W. and Joyce M. Steward, Newport News, Va.; and two sisters, Lou Ann S. Almond, Lynchburg, Va. and Deborah Marie S. Robertson, Gloucester, Va.
Peninsula Funeral Home, Newport News, is in charge.

Blanche C. Wilson
Mrs. Blanche Lucille Clark Wilson, of 493 Lester St., Bristol, Va., died Friday, Jan. 17, 1997, at her home.
She was a native of Saltville, and had lived in Bristol, Virginia for the past 50 or more years.
She was a member of Lee Street Baptist Church.
She was the widow of Percy E. Wilson Sr.
Survivors include one son, Percy E. Wilson Jr., of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Larnell (Cynthia) Cheatham, Washington, D.C.; and two granddaughters; three sisters, Mrs. William (Barbara) Odums, Bronx, N.Y., Mrs. Marshall (Julia) Lee, Washington, D.C. and Mrs. Jude (Joyce) Songui, Brooklyn, N.Y.; two brothers, Mitchell O. Clark, Bronx, N.Y. and Richard A. Clark, Bristol, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.
