COUNTY, TEXAS
I live near the county seat of Edinburg, Texas and I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and can use their vast information on file. I live 30 minutes from the Hidalgo County Court House. Records on file at the University of Texas, Pan American Hall of Records. I have contacts who work at the local newspaper, The Monitor. I am willing to search local cemeteries and take pictures of local tombstones. Was involved in the Juneteenth celebration and the uncovering of the Edinburg black cemetery. Our stake center has information on file and we are hooked up to the genealogy center in Salt Lake City Utah. We also go to Utah about twice a year for genealogy searches. |
