Elizabeth J. Dean

Wentworth, N.H. -- Elizabeth Johanna Dean, 91, of Atwell Hill Road, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, N.H.

She was born Feb. 8, 1915, in Brooklyn, N.Y., the daughter of William and Margaret (McCormack) Winckel.

She grew up in Jamaica, N.Y., and graduated from Public School 17, St. Joseph's School Commercial School and Drake School of Business.

She lived in Jamaica for many years and moved to Wentworth in 1947.

She worked as a secretary for most of her life.

She was employed by many different companies including: General Electric and American Airlines, both in New York; Holderness School Alumni Office in Holderness, N.H.; Falcon Software, which became Conquest of Warren; and Equity Publishing Co. in Orford.

She was a communicant of St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Plymouth. She was a recipient of the Plauden Jewel Award for her outstanding mission work.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Dean; and two sons, Jaime A. Borger and Edwin J. Borger.

Mrs. Dean is survived by a son, Richard F. Borger of Wentworth; and three daughters, Jane M. Hayward and Margaret E. Decotis of Wentworth and Ann E. Jacques of Middletown, Conn.; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter, Mildred Noto of Rocky Point, N.Y.

Calling hours will be held Tuesday, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Mayhew Funeral Home in Plymouth.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church in Plymouth, with the Rev. Leo LeBlanc as celebrant. Burial will be held at a later date at the East Side Cemetery in Wentworth.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Warren-Wentworth Ambulance Service, Route 25, Warren, N.H. 03279.

Vershire -- Joan Lefevre, 72, died yesterday, Dec. 30, 2006, at her home in Vershire. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Hale Funeral Home in Thetford Center.

Otis N. Giguere Jr.

Sharon -- Otis N. Giguere Jr., 77, died at Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon on Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006.

Kathryn Black

Lebanon -- Kathryn Glasford Black, 98, died on Dec. 20, 2006, at her home at Harvest Hill.

Ann G. Haskins

North Haverhill -- Ann G. Haskins, 74, of County Road, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at her daughter's home in New Haven, Conn. Ricker Funeral Home of Woodsville is in charge of arrangements.

Gloria Langeway

Ferrisburg, Vt. -- Gloria Langeway, 79, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Fletcher Allen Medical Center in Burlington.

Dorothy and Barbara Ann Bean

Groton, N.H. -- Dorothy and Barbara Ann Bean, mother and daughter, died Dec. 31, 2006, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Dec. 30. Ricker Funeral Home in Woodsville is in charge of arrangements.

Muguette A. Saxby

New London -- Muguette A. “Miki” Saxby, 82, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Merrimack County Nursing Home, where she had been a resident since August.

Lebanon -- Lucille L. Fleming, 91, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2007, in her home in Lebanon.

Marguerite D. Jackson

White River Junction -- Marguerite D. Jackson, 93, died yesterday, Jan. 2, 2007, at Valley Terrace Assisted Living in White River Junction.

Ann G. Haskins

North Haverhill -- Ann G. Haskins, 74, of County Road, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at her daughter's home in New Haven, Conn.

Dorothy T. Henderson

Rockland, Maine -- Dorothy (Thompson) Henderson, 78, died Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Penobscot Bay Medical Center.

West Lebanon -- Donald R. Greene, 64, died Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center after a courageous battle with vascular, heart and kidney disease.

Scottsdale, Ariz. -- Mike Schonberger, 73, of Scottsdale, died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, in Alamogordo, N.M.

Venice, Fla. -- Harold M. “Stoney” Stone, 93, a longtime area resident, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2006, at Venice Regional Hospital in Venice.

Hanover -- Katherine W. Yeager Anthony, 86, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, at Kendal at Hanover, where she lived for the past 15 years.
