Delgado, Maria Tuesday, 12 Nov 2013
Maria San Nicholas Paulino Delgado, 87, died Nov. 12, 2013, in Port Orchard.
She was born in Inaranjan, Guam, on Sept. 26, 1926, to Juan and Maria Paulino.
On May 14, 1960, she married Vicente F. Delgado.
She is survived by her two sons, John (Linda) Delgado and Vince (Julie) Delgado; two daughters, Lily (Damazo) Damian and Debra (Scott) Gruender; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and numerous family members.
Services were Nov. 19, at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Burial was at Miller Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Bremerton.

Kimball, William Tuesday, 05 Nov 2013
William J. Kimball, 48, died Nov. 5, 2013, of cardiac arrest at his Oregonn home.
Bill was born in Bremerton, Washington and raised in Port Orchard.
He earned his bachelor's degree from Washington State University and was a restaurant manager, including a food and beverage manager for Walt Disney World and Animal Kingdom restaurants.
On Nov. 14, 2000, he married Jennifer Jeldness in Japan.
Bill is survived by his wife, Jennifer, one son, Alexander; five daughters, Bethanie, Casadie, Delanie, Emmalie and Fynnlie; mother, Sally Ito of Japan; father, William Kimball of Bremerton; two brothers, Rick Kimball and Robert Kimball; one sister, Rita Nelson, one newphew and neice, and numerous great nieces and nephews and in-laws.
A celebration of life was Nov. 14 at Virgil T. Golden Funeral Service in Salem, Ore. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to www.giveforward.com under 'Support for the Kimball family.'¯

Patison, Florence Wednesday, 30 Oct 2013
Florence Patison, 74, of Port Orchard, died in Tacoma on Oct. 30, 2013. She was born in Barnesville, Minn., on Feb. 3, 1939, to Owen and Mayadell Williams.
Florence graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1957 and married Jewell W. Patison on Dec. 8, 1957 in Gorst.
She worked as beautician for 42 years and owned Chic Curl in downtown Port Orchard for 25 years before moving to a shop in her home. Florence was a member of Gorst Baptist Community Church for more than 50 years.
Survivors include four daughters, Patsy (Jim) VanCleef, Florence (Rich) Mitchell, Linda (David) McClellan, Karen (Joe) Lockwood, Becky (Doug) Vance; mother, Mayadell Williams of Port Orchard; two brothers, Morris (Cheryl) Williams of Battleground and Bob (Bonnie) Henningsgard of Vancouver; sister, Barbara (Ben) Skinner of Port Orchard; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services are planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Grace Bible Church, 7070 Bethel Burley Road SE, Port Orchard, with a reception to follow at the church.
Visitation is 6-8 p.m. on Nov 15, at Rill's Chapel Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.

Kennedy, James Wednesday, 30 Oct 2013
James Patrick Kennedy, 59, died Oct. 30, 2013, in University Place.
He was born in Tacoma on Aug. 13, 1954, to William and Ginger Kennedy.
He is survived by three sons, Jami Lawrence Kennedy, Aaron James Patrick Kennedy and Patrick Manley Kennedy; two sisters, Janey M. Kennedy-Aiken and Lorie J. Johnson; eight grandchildren and numerous extended family members.
Services were held Nov. 4 at the St. Leo's Catholic Church in Tacoma. Graveside service was at Haven of Rest cemetery in Gig Harbor. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center.
Donations can be made to Franciscan Hospice House, 2901 Bridgeport Way W, University Place, WA 98466. Arrangements by Edwards Memorial Center.

Davis, Lillian Monday, 28 Oct 2013
Lillian Myrtle Davis, 86, died Oct. 28, 2013, at her Silverdale home at Clearbrook Inn.
She was born Nov. 23, 1926, to George and Christine Blowers in Lansford, N.D. On March 27, 1949, she married Harley John Davis.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (David) Moen of Seabeck; son Don Davis of Belfair, two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
A tribute to Lillian's life is set at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at the Bremerton Elks. In lieu of flowers, give donations to Hospice of Kitsap County.

Mikelsen, Arthur Friday, 25 Oct 2013
Arthur Lee Mikelsen, 67, of Port Orchard died Oct. 25, 2013, following surgery.
He was born May 28, 1946 in Bremerton, to Arthur M. and Alice Mikelsen. He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1964 and earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from the University of Washington in 1982.
Arthur married Elaine Smith on March 5, 1966, in Tacoma.
Arthur Lee retired in 2012 from Puget Sound Energy as an efficiency engineer. He also worked for Art Anderson Associates and Puget Sound Naval Shipyard.
Survivors include his wife, Elaine; son, Mike Mikelsen; two daughters, Joette (John) Jindra and Trish (Michael) Nervik; parents, Arthur M. and Alice Mikelsen; sister, Susan (Paul) Page; brother, Larry (Cindy) Mikelsen; seven grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held Nov. 7, at Rill's Chapel Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
Memorial donations may be made to Wounded Warrior Project in Arthur's name at www.woundedwarriorproject.org.

Wiley, Linda Thursday, 24 Oct 2013
Linda L. Wiley, 64, of Port Orchard, died Oct. 24, 2013.
She was born Dec. 5, 1948, in Bremerton to William and Lena Cronister. Linda married William Wiley Oct. 17, 1964 in Coeur d'alene, Idaho.
She was a member of the Pythian Sisters-Port Orchard No. 17 and was past grand chief of Washington and Alaska.
Survivor include her husband, Bill; sons, William of Belfair, Wayne of Clifton, Ariz., and Brian of Olalla; daughters, Brenda Wiley of Port Orchard, Tamara Wiley of Olalla and Betty Coster of Belfair; brothers, William Cronister of Rush, Colo., James Cronister of Horse Cave, Kent. and Robert Cronister of Pomeroy; sisters, Donna Barnick of Pomeroy, Gayle Suggs of Brookings, Ore.; 24 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchindren.
A memorial was held Oct. 30 at the American Legion Hall in Port Orchard.

Bornhoeft, Alfred Thursday, 21 Aug 2014
Alfred Franklin William Bornhoeft, 90, died Aug. 21, 2014, in Retsil Veteran’s Home in Port Orchard.
He was born March 1, 1924 in Flasher, N.D.
Survivor include his two sons, Robert Bornhoeft of North Dakota and Shawn Bornhoeft of Port Orchard and four grandchildren

Dunn, Charles Sunday, 17 Aug 2014
Charles Craig “Chuck” Dunn, 50, died Aug. 17, 2014, at St. Peters Hospital in Olympia.
He was born on June 27, 1964 to Clarence and Lameda Dunn.
Charles worked as a heavy equipment operator.
He was a longtime resident of the Port Orchard area until three years ago when moving to Olympia.
Survivors include his wife, Diana; children, Ryan, Tonya, Tami, Tom, Haliya and Josiah; brother, Butch; two sisters, Judy and Patti; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and newphews.

Sutton, Jesse Wednesday, 13 Aug 2014
Jesse W. “Bill” Sutton, 89, of Auburn, died Aug. 13, 2014.
Bill was born in 1925 in Port Orchard, to Jesse and Ruth Sutton.
He graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1925 and married Virginia L. Bowman in 1945.
Bill worked for the City of Port Orchard’s Public Works Department and was an assistant chief on the volunteer fire department. He retired as a supervisor of the City of Auburn’s water and sewer division.
Survivors include his daughters, Joan (Luther) Cowan of Lake Tapps, Janet (Richard) Towner and Jennifer (David) Tague of Auburn; son, John Sutton of Auburn; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
No services are planned.

Heath, Eldon Sunday, 10 Aug 2014
Eldon Eugene Heath, 78, of Port Orchard, died Aug. 10, 2014.
He was born in Seattle on March 17, 1936, to Milton and Alice Heath.
After dropping out of school, Eldon served in the Marines from 1954-1962.
He married Gyneth Rae Smith on March 24, 1958.
Eldon was a bricklayer for 56 years, 37 of those in Oregon as a contractor before retiring and moving back to Washington.
He is survived by his wife, Gyneth Rae; children, Raymond Eugene Heath of Tacoma, Jody Renee (Jerry) Bentler of Renton, Penney Lee VanLieu of Friday Harbor, Teri Lynn Comroe of Longview, Jef Jay (Heather) Heath of West Linn, Ore., Alea Ann (Cleave) Watterberg of Lakewood, Justin Levi Heath of Portland and James Lewis (Melissa) Heath of Huron, S.D.; sisters Barbara Rowland of Pacific and Audrey (Robert) Haines of Redding, Calif., 15 grandchildren, 7 step-grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is planned for 1 p.m. Sept. 27, at Christ the Rock Community Church, 410 SW Old Clifton Rd., Port Orchard, There will be a reception after.

Matters, Virginia Monday, 04 Aug 2014
Virginia “Ginger” Matters, 81, died Aug. 4, 2014, from cancer.
She was born Nov. 20, 1932, in Fall Creek, Wisc.
Virginia earned an associates degree in accounting.
She lived in Wisconsin and California before setting in Washington in 1999.
Virginia worked as a real estate agent, owned of “Nothing Matters” Laundromat and was a greeter at Sam’s Club in Silverdale. She also was a former PTA president and was active in her church.
She is survived by five children, Vickie (Denny), Cathy, Bruce, Brian and Cheri (Dennis); 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life service was Aug. 14, at Harper Evangelical Free Church.
