Peggy Bennett

RAYMOND -- Pacific County resident Peggy L. Bennett died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2010, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was 78.

She owned and operated Bonaparte Lake Resort in Eastern Washington and operated restaurants in South Bend and Bay Center.

No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are by Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.

Marjorie Bumgardner

GRESHAM, Ore. -- Former Harborite Marjorie L. Bumgardner of Gresham, Ore., died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, in Gresham. She was 87.

She lived in Aberdeen from 1949 until moving to Hoquiam in 2008, and then to Gresham in 2010.

She was a homemaker.

No service will be held.

Arrangements are by Gresham Memorial Chapel in Gresham.

Jacqueline Langham

Jacqueline A. Langham of Montesano, died Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

She was 86.

Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Elma immediately followed by a funeral, also at Whiteside. Interment will be at Satsop cemetery.

Irene Miller

YAKIMA -- Former Harborite Irene D. Miller of Yakima died Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2010. She was 66.

She worked as a secretary in the legal field and in newspaper publishing. She later owned and operated Rene's Game Master, a swap meet business.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Old Town Gateway Assembly, 3412 South 1st St. in Union Gap.

Arrangements are by Prosser Funeral Home in Prosser.

Sandra K. Knapp

ELMA -- Sandra Kay Knapp, a resident of Elma since 2000, died Thursday, Sept. 30, 2010, at her home in Elma. She was 70.

While living in the Kent Valley, Sandra worked for SeaFirst National Bank.

A celebration of life gathering will be held in Skagway at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Charlotte A. Allan
November 20, 1939 - October 27, 2015

Charlotte A. Allan, a South Bend resident died Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at the Willapa Harbor Care Center. She was born November 20, 1939 in Unalaska, AK to Curtis and Katherine (McGlashan) Ross.

December of 1959, Charlotte was married to her husband Robert Allan in Raymond Washington. They lived together in Seattle until 1975, when they moved to Westport. They were owners and operators of Grayland Realty, until returning to Raymond in 1999. They stayed together in Raymond until 2011 when they moved to a new home in South Bend.

Charlotte was preceded in death by both her parents, and by her brother David Ross.

She is survived by her husband Robert, two sisters Brenda Vincent of South Bend, and Colleen Barnes of Tokeland; her brother Michael Ross of Grayland; her only son Rob (Jenny) Allan; two grandchildren Brandon and Tyler Allan; and one step grandchild Lana Corley.

A celebration of life will be held at New Life Fellowship in Raymond on Saturday, November 21 at 11:30 a.m. (potluck)

Joyce Gunter

Joyce Gunter of Aberdeen died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 78.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to noon, Monday, Oct. 11, in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. at the Wishkah Valley Community Church. A graveside service will follow at St. John's cemetery in Wishkah.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Andrew J. Wallman

McCleary resident Andrew Joseph Wallman died Monday, Oct. 4, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 57.

Services are pending and notice will be published in The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen

Nancy V. Lash

OLYMPIA -- Longtime Hoquiam resident Nancy Victa Lash died Friday, Oct. 1, 2010, at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia. She was 74.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness, 1000 K St. in Hoquiam.

A complete obituary will appear later in The Daily World.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Alice L. Cooper

Hoquiam resident Alice Lorraine Cooper died Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010, at Grays Harbor Health and Rehabilitation Center in Aberdeen. She was 84.

A family graveside service will be held in Tumwater today. A celebration of her life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 6, at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Aberdeen.

Memorial donations are suggested to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Relay for Life fund.

Peggy Ann Schmidt

Peggy Ann Schmidt died on Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, at her home in the Wynooche Valley. She was 56.

Services are pending through Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.

Joseph Huss

Former Harborite Joseph W. Huss, 86, of Tumwater died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at Mason General Hospital in Shelton. He was 86.

He retired from the Weyerhaeuser Pulp Mill in 1986 after 29 years.

A service will be held at noon, Thursday, Nov. 4 at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Shelton.

Donations may be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church, 601 West C St., Shelton, 98584.

Jane Puljan

Jane F. Puljan of Aberdeen died at Grays Harbor Community Hospital on Friday, Oct. 29, 2010. She was 85.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Mark S. Montague

Ocean Shores resident Mark Stephen Montague died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 56.

He was a greens keeper for 21 years at the Ocean Shores Golf Course.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Bernard "Ben" Lord

Aberdeen resident Bernard "Ben" F. Lord died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at his home in Aberdeen. He was 72.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.

Jane H. Nicholas

SHELTON -- Longtime Aberdeen resident Jane Horne Nicholas died Wednesday, Oct. 27, 2010, at Fir Lane Convalescent Center in Shelton. She was 94.

She had worked as a record keeper for the City of Aberdeen, at Grays Harbor College and as a teacher at Aberdeen High School from1970 to 1978, retiring for health reasons.

A funeral service is being planned and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary.

Robert Winiecki

MONTESANO -- Robert G. Winiecki of Elma died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2010, at Montesano Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was 90.

Cremation arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
