Maxine (Ranum) Ashmore

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- Former Aberdeen resident Maxine C. (Ranum) Ashmore of McMinnville, Ore. died Friday, Oct. 15, 2010, in McMinnville. She was 85.

She had been a song queen at Weatherwax High School and graduated in 1943.

A service will be held at 3 p.m. today at Macy and Son Funeral Home in McMinnville. She will be inurned at Willamette National cemetery in Portland, Ore.

Celine T. Mudge
(October 22, 1933 - January 12, 2013)

Celine T. Mudge, 79, of Chehalis passed away at her home on January 12, 2013. Arrangements are under the direction of Cattermole Funeral Home in Winlock.

Diana Beeson

RAYMOND -- Raymond resident Diana I. Beeson died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2010, at the Willapa Harbor Care Center in Raymond. She was 67.

She had worked for the Superintendent of Public Instruction and most recently had been a volunteer elementary school teacher.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, at Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.

Memorials may be made to the Willapa Harbor Helping Hands at P.O. Box 105, Lebam, WA 98554.

Bruno Pieruccini

Bruno G. Pieruccini, 93, a lifetime resident of Aberdeen and a grocer for many years, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel at Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

Mark J. Lloyd
September 17, 1952 - August 19, 2015

“MR” Mark Jeffery Lloyd, born September 17, 1952, of Raymond, Washington, passed away suddenly on August 19, 2015.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Flori Jean Mee Lloyd, who he married in October of 1972. He graduated from Raymond High School in 1971 and started working at Weyerhaeuser in Raymond in 1972. He retired in 2015 after 43 years of service.

His passions were fishing, gambling, traveling, and spending time with his lovely and talented wife, and two sons that he was so proud of. Memorials are to be made to Willapa Harbor Helping Hands. His mother and father, Weldon Douglas Lloyd and Phyllis Irene Lloyd, preceded him in death. He is also survived by his sons Adam Douglas Lloyd and partner Natalie, and Christopher Jon Lloyd and partner Neil. His sister Mary Swanson, husband Jim Swanson, and children Charity Swanson, Victor Swanson and Michelle Sharp of the Centralia area further survive him, as well as half-brother Craig Broadley of Monroe Oregon.

He will also be forever remembered through a wealth of love and friendship because he was a friend to everyone he met. If you would like to join in the joy of Mark, please plan on attending his Celebration of Life, Saturday, September 19. More details on that celebration will soon be announced.

Arrangements are in care of Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.

Nickolene Smith

Nickolene M. Smith, a resident of Pacific Beach for more than 45 years, died Monday, Oct. 25, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 91.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Coleman Mortuary Chapel in Hoquiam.

Jose Gabriel Delgado

Jose Gabriel Delgado, a resident of Westport for the past 25 years, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010, at his home following an extended illness. He was 62.

He was a commercial fisherman and volunteer fireman for many years.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010, at the Ocosta High School "Old Gym" in Westport.

A reception and potluck for family and friends will follow in the Westport V.F.W.

The family requests donations be sent to the Westport Firefighters Association, P.O. Box 1780 in Westport, 98595.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Albert "Skip" Miller

RENO, Nev. -- Former Cosmopolis resident Albert "Skip" Miller of Reno, Nev., died Monday, Aug. 16, 2010, in Reno. He was 53.

Arrangements were by Truckee Meadows Cremation & Burial Services in Reno.

Rocky A. Seward Jr.

Rocky Allen Seward Jr., a resident of Hoquiam, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at his home. He was 34.

He had worked for two years as a fisherman but primarily worked in the woods, most recently as a timber cutter. He had worked for Donny Frickel for nearly 12 years.

A celebration of life gathering will be from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 31, at the Hoquiam Elks Lodge.

Cremation arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary.

Jeffrey W. Sanders

A celebration of life and potluck for lifetime Hoquiam resident Jeffrey Wayne Sanders, who died Oct. 18, 2010 in Aberdeen, is set for 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30, at the Aberdeen VFW.

William Bowden

AUBURN -- Former Willapa Harbor resident William D. Bowden died Saturday, Oct. 23, 2010, at the Auburn Rehabilitation & Health Center. He was 99.

He had worked in management for Boeing.

Private family and interment services will be held next to his wife at the Maple Hills cemetery in Lebam.

Arrangements are by Stoller's Mortuary in Raymond.

Raymond Dosch

Raymond C. Dosch, a resident of Aberdeen, died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2010, at his home. He was 53.

He had worked in box manufacturing and custodial work in Tacoma for a number of years before coming to Aberdeen two years ago to be near family.

A family gathering will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements were by Fern Hill Funeral Home of Aberdeen.

Bienvenida J. Dejillas

RENTON -- Former Grays Harbor resident Bienvenida Juarez Dejillas of Kent died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Valley Medical Center in Renton. She was 85.

Viewing will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, from 8 to 10:30 a.m. with a funeral to follow at Whiteside Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A graveside service will be held at Fern Hill cemetery in Aberdeen following the chapel service.

Christine Istvan

Christine Istvan, a resident of Ocean Shores for five years, died Sunday, Oct. 24, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 80.

She had come to America from Europe in 1956 and to Los Angeles where she lived for many years.

Arrangements were by Evergreen Mortuary & Cremation of Aberdeen.

Henry Oslund

A graveside inurnment for Henry Oslund will be held at noon Friday, Nov. 19, at Sunset Memorial Park, Hoquiam. A memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. at Immanuel Baptist Church, 1200 Soule St., Hoquiam.

Mr. Oslund died at a Seattle hospital Nov. 11, at the age of 90.

Arrangements are by the Fern Hill Funeral Home, Aberdeen.

David Cobb

Hoquiam resident David E. Cobb died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 59. He had worked as a painter on the Harbor for many years.

A memorial service is being planned and will be announced in a later edition of The Daily World.

Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.

Donald G. Goodenough

LYNNWOOD -- Former Harborite Donald Gene Goodenough died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in Lynnwood. He was 76.

He graduated from Wishkah High School in 1952.

He served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, worked for Avtech Corp. and spent many years in law enforcement support.

A celebration of his life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 21, at the Aberdeen Eagles.

Arrangements are by Evergreen Washelli in Seattle.

Dalila B. Johnson

Dalila Barron Johnson of Pacific Beach died Thursday, Nov. 11, 2010, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen after a brief illness. She was 59.

Arrangements are by Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
