Visitation is set for from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A graveside service is scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday at Fern Hill cemetery in Aberdeen.

MONTESANO -- Central Park resident Betty J. Frafjord died Friday, Sept. 16, 2011, at Hindbaugh Adult Family Home in Montesano. She was 88.
Vistitation will be from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Central Park Baptist Church.
James A. Lacey
James Addison Lacey, a 45-year resident of Aberdeen and former truck driver for Skagit Valley Trucking, died Friday morning, Sept. 16, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. He was 84.
A memorial service is being planned for later.
Cremation arrangements are by Evergreen Mortuary & Cremation Services of Grays Harbor in Aberdeen.
Mildred Joyce (Tiny) Cooper Saari
SEATTLE -- Former Raymond resident Mildred Joyce "Tiny" Cooper Saari of Seattle died Thursday, Sept. 22, 2011, in Seattle. She was 77.
Saari graduated from Raymond High School and moved to Seattle with her husband of 58 years, Norris Saari. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Oct. 8 at Foster Tukwila Presbyterian Church in Tukwila.
Suzanne Kay Fowler
Suzanne Kay Fowler of Aberdeen died Friday, Sept. 23, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital. She was 60.
Arrangements are pending through Harrison Family Mortuary of Aberdeen.
Colleen Stearns-Holz
Colleen Stearns-Holz, a longtime Harborite and employee at Washington Crab, died Friday morning, Sept. 23, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 55.
Services are pending and an obituary with details will follow in The Daily World. Cremation arrangements are through Evergreen Mortuary & Cremation Services of Grays Harbor in Aberdeen.
Roy Ekstrand
A potluck celebration of life for South Beach resident Roy W. Ekstrand, who died Aug. 20 in Hoquiam, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 3057 in Westport. A private family inurnment will take place in Willamette National cemetery in Portland, at a later time.
Cremation arrangements were by Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen.

A potluck and memorial service for longtime Hoquiam resident Charles H. Ward, who died at home May 26, will be held at noon, Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Hoquiam VFW. RSVP to 532-5574. He served in the U.S. Navy, was a Grays Harbor deputy sheriff and worked for Lamb Grays Harbor for many years.

Longtime Wynooche Valley resident Norma Jean Bugher died Friday evening, Aug. 5, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 81.
Visitation is set for 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the Fern Hill Funeral Home. A cryptside service will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the Fern Hill Colonnades in Fern Hill cemetery. A potluck reception is set for after the service in the Dorothy Mann Reception Hall at Fern Hill Funeral Home.
Velma N. Flowers
Aberdeen resident Velma Nell Flowers died Friday, Aug. 5, 2011, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen. She was 80.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 9, in the chapel at Harrison Family Mortuary in Aberdeen. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wynooche cemetery in Montesano.
Eileen R. Tanner
PORT ORCHARD -- Port Orchard resident Eileen Rose Tanner, who was born in Hoquiam, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2011, in Port Orchard. She was 82.
A memorial will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, at the home of her daughter Theresa in Port Orchard.
Arrangements are by Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.
John F. Weed
A memorial gathering for Hoquiam resident John Franklin Weed, who died June 18 in Hoquiam, will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14, at the Hoquiam Elks.
Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Dwight A. Rowland
A memorial service for Satsop resident Dwight Alton Rowland, who died July 28 in Aberdeen, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at the Central Park Neighborhood Church.

Jean A. Baker
MONTESANO -- Jean Arthur Baker, a lifetime Harborite, died Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011, at Montesano Health and Rehabilitation Center in Montesano. He was 80.
He had worked at the Aloha Lumber Company and the Aloha Shake Mill and after earning his electrical contractor's license he opened Baker Electrical, operating the business out of his home until he retired a few years ago.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, Aug. 12, at the Odd Fellows cemetery in Elma.
Arrangements are by the Coleman Mortuary in Hoquiam.
Vivian Hoiland Oldenkamp
GIG HARBOR -- Former Harborite Vivian Hoiland Oldenkamp of Gig Harbor died Monday, June 20, 2011, in Gig Harbor. She was 83.
She graduated from Weatherwax High School and had worked for KBKW.
A private family service took place.
Arrangements were by Haven of Rest in Gig Harbor.
Richard Durham
POMEROY -- Former Aberdeen and Hoquiam resident Richard W. Durham of Pomeroy died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, at the Garfield County Memorial Hospital in Pomeroy. He was 84.
A celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Eastern Washington Agricultural Museum in Pomeroy.
Memorials may be made in his honor to the museum.
Arrangements are by Merchant Funeral Home in Clarkston.

Nicholas James McKinney of McCleary died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, in Hoquiam. He was 28.

TILLAMOOK, ORE. -- Former Aberdeen resident Jeanne Anderson-Girboski of Bay City, Ore., died Thursday, Aug. 11, 2011, in Tillamook, Ore. She was 54.
A celebration of her life will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14 at her sister's home at 522 W. 6th St. in Aberdeen.

A celebration of life and slideshow for Montesano resident Richard Allen Kinsman, who died Aug. 7, 2011, at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle, will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 17 at the Maranatha Church of Jesus Christ, 1006 W. Young St., Elma A graveside service with military honors will take place at noon, Friday, Aug. 19, at Satsop cemetery with fellowship to follow at the Satsop United Methodist Church, 445 Ash Road.
