John R. Majoros, 57, of Centralia died of colon and liver cancer in Centralia Providence Hospital at 8:20 P.M., March 1, 2012. In his final days and hours he was surrounded and supported by a multitude of family and dear friends.

The youngest of his family, he was born Jan. 12, 1955 in Centralia to Michael and Mary Majoros, siblings Bob and Linda, and half-sisters Jackie and Valarie Holbrook. In his teens he “hacked brush” for the Department of Natural Resources, then later clerked in all three Centralia Reliance Food Centers. He eventually married fellow employee Debbie Seroshek in Centralia on Jan. 17, 1976.

His two greatest interests were selling things and working on cars. He got to do both. After managing the Stop ‘N Go in Chehalis a few years, he next ran his own mobile mechanic business for about five years from a red van with the logo “The Automedic.” He then worked at Ron’s Auto Repair in Centralia and stayed when it changed hands and became Hag’s Automotive. As a side business, he began selling garage sale items on the Internet. He started working at Hanson Motors in Olympia at the beginning of this year, but with failing health, was unable to continue. Jason was especially close with his twin brother, Josh. The dynamic duo were invariably mistaken for each other and often took the opportunity to blame their misdeeds on each other. They lived together for the most part of the last 10 years and were genuinely best friends, as well as brothers.

Jason was loved and adored by all who had the pleasure of getting to know him. He had a great love of sports and had many wonderful experiences in the W.F. West and Senior Legion baseball programs.
