Linda Susan Fuller
Beloved daughter of Enid Culp Roberts and stepfather Harold N. Roberts of Olympia, died in an accident August 29, 2001, while residing in California with her children, Nicole and Geoffrey Brown. Linda was born Nov. 6, 1955 in Olympia, but grew up in Fircrest and Gig Harbor. She studied classical ballet for 8 years under Jan Collum in Tacoma. Linda was a sweet, joyful girl who always thought of others first. She played the violin and loved creating entertainment with her brother for family and friends. She was the first president of her class, winning by a landslide. Her campaign slogan was, “If you vote for me, I’ll make you all Happy.” That’s what Linda did best. After graduation from Tyee High School, she studied computers at Olympia Community College. Her mother was her teacher. Linda worked for Pierce County until she met and married Howard Brown of California. She leaves behind many friends and family members who loved her dearly; her brothers, John Rockey Fuller, wife Joni, children Shannon and Sean of Chehalis; and Ted E. Henderson, wife Dolora and son Nicholas of Olympia; her grandmother, Ella May Culp of Olympia. Linda was the great granddaughter of William Fuller Sr., founder of the fuller Super Markets of Chehalis, Centralia and Olympia. She is also survived by great uncles Dr. Ted Fuller, Dr. Lloyd Fuller, and her father, John R. Fuller Jr., all of Seattle. She is preceded in death by grandfather Ellis O. Culp of Olympia, loving grandparents Jack and Dade Fuller of Olympia and Chehalis, most recently Palm Desert, CA. She was their little princess. A memorial service was held August 23, 2001 in San Clemente, CA. Linda will be remembered with a memorial stone at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Olympia. She will always and forever be missed by all who knew and loved her. A private memorial will be held at a later date in Olympia.

Shirley A. Sidow
Born May 3, 1933 in Tacoma, died Sept. 18, 2001 in Tacoma. memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 24, 2001, 1 PM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard. An online memorial can be viewed at www.rill.com.

Keith Allen Thomas
Born Nov. 21, 1956. Went to be with the Lord Sept. 15, 2001. He went peacefully, surrounded by loved ones. Keith was employed at King’s Den in the Tacoma Mall. Preceded in death by his mother, Betty Thomas, and survived by his sister, Marlene Johnson. A celebration of his life will be held at Lincoln Park Christian Church, 3832 South G Street, Saturday, Sept. 29th at 3:00 PM.

Dorothy L. Mittan
Dorothy L. Mittan passed away Sept. 19, 2001 in Tacoma. She was a graduate of Lincoln H.S., U of WA in Seattle, was in the wo- men’s Marines from 1942-45 and was a stenographer for the FBI. Survivors include her brothers, Robert and George Mittan, and niece, Patricia Allen. Memorial services will be held Monday, Sept. 24 at 10 a.m. at Tuell-McKee Funeral Home, 272-1414.

FORREST E. BEALS
Forrest E. Beals, 78, born February 20, 1923 in Orting, WA to Edward and Lena Beals, passed away September 18, 2001 in Taco- ma, WA. Forrest served as a Signalman First Class in the U.S. Navy during WWII from 1942 to 1947. He served on the U.S.S. Neches AO 47, U.S.S. Cahochon, U.S.S. Alabama and the U.S.S. Harwood, working in visual communications and navigation. He was awarded the WWII Victory Medal, Asiatic Pacific (American Area) with 5 stars, and the Philippine Liberation with 1 star. Forrest owned Beals Spraying and Landscape, Inc. in the Tacoma and surrounding areas since 1962, at 5404 Steilacoom Blvd S.W. He was a member of the following societies and lodges: Elks Lodge #174 for many, many years; Allegro National Motor Home Club; Pesticide Association; and was the 2nd Coordinator for the 50th Reunion for the U.S.S. Neches in Tacoma in 1995. Forrest was preceded in death by his father Edward Lane Beals, mother Lena Maude Grosvenor, brother Kenneth R. Beals, and sister Ruth Beals Hazen. Survivors: wife Edna (Litzenberger) Beals; daughter Vicki Beals-Reed from Tacoma; son Forrest Craig Beals from Mississippi; 4 grandchildren, Carrie Reed of Tacoma, Jamie Reed of Seattle, Tyler and Kaitlin Beals of Mississippi; and stepsister Dorla Shaw of Spokane, WA. Viewing 2pm to 8pm Friday, September 21, 2001, Mt. View Funeral Home. Funeral service 4 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2001 at the Mt. View Garden Chapel, with refreshments being served after the service in the Willow Room in the Celebration of Life Center. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.

Lawrence Littell Fox
Lawrence Fox was born October 26, 1916 in Parsons, MO, and passed away September 14, 2001 in Tacoma, WA. He graduated Lincoln High School Class of 1936, joined the Navy, became a chemical engineer and retired from R.C.I. Chemical, Tacoma, WA. Lawrence was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, La Nita Fox. He is survived by his 2 sons, Lawrence (Dick) Richard Fox and his wife Carolyn, and James W. Fox Sr. and his wife Linda; daughter Sandra Joyce Fox; 5 grandchildren, Angela O. Fox, James W. Fox Jr. and his wife Christine, Chad V. Fox, Hiedi Stephens, Amy Keenan; and great-granddaughter Nichole D. Fox. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM Monday, September 24, 2001 at Mt. View Memorial Park. Loving wife and mother, 58, born in Aberdeen, WA on April 20, 1943, passed away on September 18, 2001 in Tacoma. Daughter of Leo G. and Helen S. Krasinski. Surviving family: husband James A. Blessing; three sons, James A. Blessing II of Wenatchee, WA and fiancee Jennifer Coombs; Jason A. Blessing of Vacaville, CA; Jay A. Blessing, Specialist 4, HHC 2/75 Ranger Regiment, Ft. Lewis, WA; two brothers, Leo G. Krasinski Jr. of Kent, WA; Joseph H. Krasinski, wife Rosemary of DeSoto, TX; two sisters, Sandra Wieckowski, husband Stanley of Riverside, NJ; Mary Patterson, husband Rocky of Fircrest, WA. She was greatly loved by her nephews, nieces and their families. Carol Lee was a “1961” graduate of Lincoln High School, loving homemaker and active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. All services will be held at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 512 So. 30th St., Tacoma, WA, on Monday, September 24, 2001. Viewing at 10:00 am, Rosary at 10:30 am, and Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Ruth B. Armstrong
Ruth B. Armstrong, 87, of Tacoma, passed away September 19, 2001. She was born on May 3, 1914 in Kinnodale, Alberta, Canada. Survivors include son Robert Michael Armstrong (Pamela) of Federal Way; sisters Dorothy Thompson of Puyallup and Elsie Freeland of Seattle; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William, son Richard Armstrong, sister Margie Amer and brother Earl Tibbitts. Ira “Bud” I. Holter
Age 79, of Puyallup, died September 17, 2001. He was born September 27, 1921 in Pomeroy, Ohio to Eber and May Holter. He was a member of Puyallup Elks for 10 years, member of Lions Club, member of Mt. View Lutheran Church, and owner of Hiway Prevention Patrol and Guards, Inc. Because of his profession, he had a great fondness of weapons. He also loved to travel in his motor home. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Lee Holter. He will be missed by his wife of 51 years, Ann, of Edgewood; daughter Bonnie Ann Holmes of Puyallup; son Christopher Brown of Bonney Lake; sister Elva Young of Florida; grandsons Christopher David and Brandon Alexander; granddaughters Hollie Ann and Hillary Ann Holmes; great-granddaughter Ashley Brown of Arizona; and Sandy Coleman, who has worked for Bud for 21 years and was also a very good friend. A time of visitation will be held Friday, September 21 from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Powers Funeral Home, Puyallup. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 22 at 1:00 pm at Mt. View Lutheran Church, Edgewood. Arrangements in the care of Powers Funer- al Home, Puyallup.
