LOUISE DRY

March 19, 1922 -- March 28, 2002

Louise Dry of Marysville passed away Thursday, March 28, following a long illness in a nursing home in Port Angeles.

Louise was born March 19, 1922, in Spokane, Wash. Her beloved husband, Leroy Dry, preceded her in death last May leaving her two children, Mike Maxwell, of Juneau, Alaska, and Colleen and husband John Lemker of Port Angeles; four stepsons: Terry, Tom, Tim and Ted Dry of Marysville, along with her three grandchildren, Shannon, Shane and Chad, and 5 great-grandchildren and 10 step-great-grandchildren.

Louise and Leroy worked for many years for a tug boat company in Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Leroy captained while Louise cooked for the men and was his ever faithful First Mate, to say the least. This went with his love for the water and her love for Leroy.

It was a truly joyous day in Heaven Thursday when those two were reunited again. Their ashes will be dispersed together as it should be in the water this spring. May God grant them both calm seas.
