Cecilia was born November 2, 1912 in Butte, Montana to Joseph and Mary Mihelich, the second girl in a family of two girls and five boys, all of whom preceded her in death. After the war, she returned to Butte where she and her family lived until 1959 when Thomas was transferred with Continental Oil Company to Billings, Montana. They remained in Billings until moving into an assisted care facility in Redmond, Washington in 2002, where they both lived out their years. The family would like to thank the staff of Cascade Plaza Assisted Living and Cascade Vista Convalescent Center in Redmond for their compassion, excellent care, and friendship over the past three years.
Cecilia loved music and particularly enjoyed playing the piano and organ. She was also passionate about politics and never hesitated to share her views with friends and family, occasionally in letters which were always a joy to read.
